oh i'm not that generaous, far from it, i'm actually terrible, i hate two of the guys who regularly come in cause they're creepy and smelly and one of them is incredibly rude, he has absolutely no social skills whatsoever (but then, half the people who are officially in full control of their facualties don't have them) and every time they come in everyone groan, cause you know they're just going to be one long round of hassle.

oh, (and when i tell you this, you're not going to talk to me ever again) there was this one lad who came in wearing one of those rubber helmets, the reason being that he continually 'knocked' on his head really hard. At one point his helper held his hand down to stop him, and as soon as the helpers back was turned, the other hand snuck up and resumed the hitting - i just remember thinking something like 'you go mate! fight the system!' - which was bad enough, but when i was telling my mother about it later that day, i, completely without realising, said 'owner' instead of 'helper'.

I was appalled with my self! I felt so bad!

but hey, i'm a total idiot anyway. I asked last night what the plural of apocolypse was, and my mum turns round and says 'er, i'm pretty sure theres only going to be one'.

Yes, folk, you guessed right! I have the mental abilities of a slightly mushy grape.

But i blame Joss Wheadon, oh him of the apocolypse of the week.

Thanks. Not sure, really, I wasn't sure when my Gran died a few years back either, but in retrospect I think I took it quite badly. Ask me again in about three years time.

yes, some do lack the social graces, but as you said, so do those without the disabilities. I find those things occassionally frustrating, but I can't hold it against them.
Aww.. I'll still talk to you. That's kinda funny. Here we are "supporters".
You're not a total idiot, you're quite brilliant actualy. we say the plural is Apocolyi. I've averted a few my own self.

Thank you Jadehand. Ok, i don't feel quite so dim knowing that there is a plural. At least, someone else is as dim, so thats not so bad.

Why am I still up? it's nearly 7am. ah well, I'll sleep til 11, get up, set the vcr for my shows whilst I work, maybe even leave early enough to shop for some supplies. Had a couple of fast DLs, I missed some of my old music, nice to have my old cassette tapes and vinyl instantly tranferred to mp3 and the like.
I love the stuff I grew up on, even if it's not as clever as the stuff I prefer now.

Here's a simple lyric for those who have recently lost, and those about to, it got me through more than a few deaths. I'm shocked at how quickly my huge family became so few.

The Hooters- Heaven Laughs

See the stars that shine and give us light
One less star is in the sky tonight
Words alone won't keep our tears away
But I know that star will shine again someday

And heaven laughs when we say good-bye
It ain't so far to the other side
Someday soon we will meet again
Say it over and over and over 'til then

Dream tonight about a last embrace
Close my eyes and I will see your face
Dreams alone won't keep our tears away
But in my heart I know we'll meet again someday

And heaven laughs when we say good-bye
It ain't so far to the other side
Someday soon we will meet again
Say it over and over and over 'til then

And so we laugh when we say good-bye
It ain't so far to the other side
And heaven knows we will meet again
Say it over and over and over again

From everlast to everlasting
From sea to shining sea
How much did we take from each other
Here's one from the heart and one more for free

And heaven laughs when we say good-bye
It ain't so far to the other side
Someday soon we will meet again
Say it over and over and over 'til then

And so we laugh when we say good-bye
It ain't so far to the other side
And heaven knows we will meet again
Say it over and over and over again

Say it over and over and over again...

"But you sleep like a ghost with me
It's as simple as that
So tell me I'm mad
Roll me up and breathe me in
Come to my madness

Well, I didn't lose my job though a couple of other guys did.

Though what's really on my mind is my cat - she's gone missing for two days now and she always turns up to eat in the mornings and evenings. Plus she'd lost interest in her food and was getting so skinny and it's really cold out there.

I'm pretty sure she's gone off somewhere to die.

oh god, one bit of good news swiftly followed by a ton of bad. If it helps, my cat got addicted to a valerian plant in the neigbours garden, went of her food, then didn't come home - my mum heard her miowing and climbed over the wall to get her. Rehab took three weeks.

So hopefully, she's just a junkie.

Ok, so aside form the really not helpful anecdotes - cats are fiercly independant creatures, you can't do anything to change that - hopefully its a false alarm (i've known them to do that).

*hugs* anyway.
