I was going to offer my servies to you ladies, but it seems that my dear Seryn is mailing Christmas cards out to the whole 'verse except for me, and I will be too busy pouting to consider a faux marraige, no matter how very appealing the idea of pulling one over on BigGov is for a passive aggressive revolutionary such as myself.

Perhaps if you got in your cheerleader uniforms and showed me a shiny cheer about FAUXSEX?

Weeeellll. I finally managed to get everything sent off to you today CMS. I got two boxes sent on Friday (yes I had to split everything up into three boxes) and today was the last day to send things to arrive before Christmas (this final box has that T-Shirt in it). So I had everything packaged up and ready to take to London so I could send it via the post office on the Strand.

Except I left the box on top of the ticket machine at the station and nearly caused a terrorism security alert. I ended up going back to the train station after I got to London, so one freaky day.

Anyway it's all off now.

We went to the theatre, little realising that death awaited us with big pointy teeth and a vicious streak a mile wide...

But enough about Seryn.

*runs for cover*

Yes, Spamalot was good fun (though they could have done a little more rewriting for this production rather than just swopping London's West End for Broadway) and we had a fine meal to boot.

Altogether now...

Jack didn't do anything wrong - He's a wonderful, marvellous, fabulous, gorgeous... handsome... er... talented.... fantastic person.

I realised i hadn't sent a card off to you, i also realised that i hadn't got Cozens address and that was why there were unclaimed bits sitting on the table at home while i was in the post office que.

But i promise, huge wonderful cards will find their way into the post after the christmas post free for all has subsided, wishing you both very merry (un)christmasses and begging you not to hate me.

I'm dim, but surefly that makes me more lovable? Somebody say yes please?

The Nook looks very pretty with its twinkly lights. And oi Mr Who, can it - don't be giving away my secrets.

The show was brilliant - the bit with the black night and the rabbit and stuff like that was well done (clever enough to go look! is that a plane?!? in order to make the trickery so much funnier) with some amusicng songs and stuff added in, one of the actors look so much like Alan Tuyk it was really funny (good news! there are two guys on the planet that look like Alan!) and even the rent-a-diva was amusing.

Bad news though - i thought to take my camera (i didn't read your post before i went) but i didn't think they would allow photography so in the end i didn't - so no photo's ;( But apparently a few of the songs from the night we saw it were show in the royal variety performance show on tv, so i'm going to ask around and see if anyone recorded it, and if anyone else has the ability to extract the Spamalot bits so i can send them to you.

Or keep an eye on youtube to see if any clips turn up there...

fingers crossed.

In the meantime, ask away with any questions.

oh! had to mention the bit where they 'travelled' to find the grail - two guys came on wrapped up in a very long sheet of fabric painted with different scenes, and one guy twizzed to unwind while the other twizzed to wind it up - while the knights pranced and clapped their coconuts in front - it was just what every stage show should have.

Right.

Alcohol will help you lose consciousness, but it hampers REM sleep so you will wake tired. The up side is you won't have lyrics like: "Closing time, so finish your whiskey and beer," stuck in your head.

Seryn: I found your rooibos tea at the nicest of the grocery stores in town this weekend. YAY! I really like that stuff.

I was upset the other day that I was out of peppermint tea when I'd been up all night with insomnia and had an upset tummy. There was a woman at church who was in the room when I discovered the empty box of peppermint tea and this morning she left me a brand new box on my desk! Wasn't that sweet?

So now I'm all happy and tea-i-fied.

Hooray for thoughtful people! And hooray for weird dreams.

I watched a very odd production of The Rocky Horror Show with my father. Odd in that the audience had to leave their seats and go around to a local swimming pool to watch the second part of the show. I, for some reason, swam with the cast to the pool from the stage.

I also dreamt I was in the show House and slagged him off to the other regular three, not realising he was behind me.

And now I have final present arrangements to make. Fun!

Er, you swam... i hope that meant you ended up going over to the pool with the cast, not that you were actually there in the background, doing the breast stroke and a spot of butterfly while the cast were trying to act....

though i would have paid a good deal to see that!

i miss my epic dreams - i used to have those ones with a cast of thousands, plots and adventures and dangerous hijinks, even an orchestral score at one point. But i don't have them now - i know i'm dreaming, but i know its not fun like it used to be.

Comeback the little Jeryy Bruckheimer of my sleeping mind....

Has anyone ever lucid dreamed?

I remember i had one where Te'alc (sp?) from stargate SG1 was teaching me to fly (literally to fly though the air - thats not some strange euphemism) and i was disturbed by my brother making noise in the waking world, but after that, i was aware that i could control where i was flying and say things to people (i called Daniel a dweeb - it was before he got his hair cut and became all sexy geekish) but most importantly - i got to fly!

My dreams tend to be very grounded in reality as we know it, just with odd circumstances and unusual connections between things or people i know in my waking life. they also often feature stuff that turns out so well as it will not in the waking world.

when i was young (before the 7 years i was dreamless, or not being aware of having dreamt in 7 years), i had many nightmares and a few epic dreams.

Dreams can be fun!

I know for certain that I dream with composite characters. Several people mashed into one character, and several composites mashed into the same dream. I don't make a habit of it, but it is sometimes interesting to try to sort out the components of at least one of my dream "avatars", as it were. It's interesting, to me anyway, how a dream-avatar can be composed of people possessing attributes of both genders, or a mishmash of ages, or even bits of the same person at different times.

I could have had a good time discussing this shit with Carl Jung, had I been screwed up enough to bother. See how limiting it is to be at peace with oneself?

I don't recall ever dreaming that I could "fly", not like superman fly. I often, however, dreamed that I could "swim through the air". I had to actively pull myself through the air. And I mostly stayed around my neighbourhood, as it wasn't exactly fast paced. It could have been an out of body thing. Not sure.

Dreams eh. Can't remember any recent ones, I had some reoccuring ones when I was younger, mostly about fighting strangly enough.

There was one where these Alien eggs fell to Earth and my Dad was a scientist who brought some back to his lab. Then they hatched and started eating people and we had to fight our way to safety.

One where the predator came after me with this giant truck with a shopping trolly attached beneth to catch me. That was weird.

When I was young I only had one recurring dream that I recall: falling down endlessly into a gaping hole in the earth.

After some time (maybe 6 months?) I hit the bottom one night and bounced up off the ground as if it were made of rubber. I got up and looked around the huge underground cavern that held a city. I never dreamt about that again, haha.

you're never allowed to hit Serenity, cause she's the cutest sweetest girl in the world and more importantly, you'll have a que of guys just waiting for the next opportunity to beat you up for picking on her.

One of my epic dreams started out in an americanised version of my school (my school lay out and english tree life and such, but the building looked like the one in Buffy) then i realised a little later it was now in a shopping mall. It had zombies (hey i never said they were original) but the zombies were created by this ginormous spider that also controlled them, and what one could see they all could see, and they also spit spider venom at you (yup, i did consider suing James Gunn)
I remember someone who was like but not like Willow was with me, sometimes she was my mum (you know how dream people are) had managed to make their way over and we were running from the big spider and one of its zombies with someone else in a tesco shopping cart when i woke up.

I'll have to dream the ending to that one someday. Something tells me i'll need a lot of strong cheese.

whooo! But can he still work the vest?

I keep seeing adverts and trailers for white noise, getting very excited (at Nathan on the big screen - i'm not expecting the film to be up to much)

but yey!

Isn't sanity really a one trick pony, anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy...ooh hoo hoo hoo... the skys the limit!

Okay, went looking for ads but found this instead. It may not be everyones' cup of chamomile tea, but if you enjoyed such things as "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", or "House of Flying Daggers" (which I highly recommend both as they are far more than "martial arts movies") then you may be interested in this new film with Chow Yun-Fat: (3 trailers) http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/curseofthegoldenflower/

Holy Crap! Jim Carrey in a serious role? I might like this, reminds me of all the Illuminatus stuff.
