A photo like that is something I would love to have hanging on my wall. Light being the focal point, but also partially revealing a body...gently touching the ear and cheek of the subject, outlining shoulder and hip, playing in the wisps of hair...so yes, 'tis art that I can appreciate, and that she obviously enjoys doing.

ARRGH! So much reading to catch up on! Reasons I never got a professional or academic degree. I am secretly dislexic and refuse to admit it to myself. I'm not really. The letters and the words are all in right place, but you know how when you have to reread a paragraph three, four times to sort of get what it's saying when you are REALLY sleepy? That's how I often read unsleepily; sleepy reading is utterly fruitless. Helluava thing for the long of wind, huh?

Here are some pics of me during a fashion show a friend of mine put on. It wasn't exactly high fashion since I was modeling scarves and shawls. The lady sure can knit though.

I just love the colors in this shawl.

She said if I brought her some yarn she'd knit me a scarf. I could use one.

I think this was my favorite shawl. Not much on the colorful side but the texture was really cool.

I like this one too. I had to chop it out of a bigger pic but it seemed to work.

The group pic was taken at NECRONOMICON, a science fiction, fantasy and horror convention in Tampa, FL the last weekend of October 2006.

We hope to have some kind of shindig at the next NECRONOMICON. I'm the program scheduling person there so I can get it on the schedule if I can come up with something good.

Anyway, thank you for the kind words.

Now, I'm off to de-Christmas the house. sigh...
