Dave's right Tesh is an evil, evil word... er person. Well maybe evil's going a bit far, but highly annoying, oh yes! He use to be an Entertainment show host and then he went off to search out his musical talents... as far as we know they've not been found yet.

Also, time doesn't feel like it's flying. My time seems more like a turtle in molasses.

They ussually hit you at 40% tax, but if you're earnings fall below the threshold you can get that back at the end of the tax year.

In other news, did you get my email? I pester cause the earlier I know the cheaper it'll be.

nope, no rest for us. Though I am taking tomorrow off (it's my normal day off). Might catch up on a few things that I've been putting off. Last night I had a great night, but I paid for it a bit this morning. Worth it in the long run, it all somehow managed to get me over a sickness I've had for about 3 weeks, I haven't coughed since around noon. Yay, for feeling better and spry again.
See ya soon, Brother.

Moby Dick? Jaws? If it's not water related that's probably where you are going wrong.

Though if you are looking for a book to send you to sleep I'd go with War and Peace.

Or Kevin Keegans 'It's a funny old game'.

Or failing that the transcript to the Liberal Democrats party political broadcast.

Actually we have a similar thing. Whenever I'm just drifting off they test the fire alarm. Don't the people at work realise some of us are trying to sleep?

Yes, but at least it's a polite BRITISH fire alarm, rather than the loud and obnoxious American kind.

Mai-you are not allowed to get hit by a tornado. Knowing you, you'd end up in some evil Munchkinland dimension and we'd have to go rescue you, and frankly, I just don't have time for that this week.

oh no! i didn't get a job! no, still stuck in the giftshop (the stock free giftshop) of the armpit of hell.

no i just found this job to apply for, cause it looked really interesting and like it had real opportunities for going somewhere.
my problem being that it was only 13 - 16 hours perweek, which is not enough to see me right, so i would have to take work in a pub or something in the evening and on the days off. the problem being that the only pub i know of in the wirral i would enter voluntarily is the Shrewsbury Inn, which is half an hours hike away with no bus route. Which isn't so bad, but when you consider i'd have to be doing that route at all hours of the night, and right between my house and it is a solid strip of chav infested housing, you get why i'm not sure...

but it does look like a fantastic job, and if i get offered it, i would jump at it, but usual story - i haven't heard a peep from them.

For Serenity - The Naional Trust are the people who preserve all the historical sites and houses that aren't looked after independantly, like the big stately homes and nature reserves and abby ruins etc, and open them to the public so every one can go and oogle at the ridiculous amounts of ornamentation baroque fashions called for.

Stewarding a house is basically looking after the house and the visitors - in this case its the home and photographic studio of one Mr Hardman - i'm not sure why is important, that is the subject of research to be carried out after i've had some real sleep.

But i mean who knows - it could lead to anything.

I just want them to interview me at least!

and Sean, yes, i went looking and found your email, and that sounds fine for the thirtieth, yes he's offered to put me up if i want to, and delta airlines is cool - it's not worth extra messing about for £3.

i've been kind of umming and ahhing, as i really expected to have another (better paid) job by now, but whatever happens i can afford to pay you back for the ticket, so go ahead and get them as early as is convenient.
Plus, Simonwho has threatened to organise me and my finances (what finances!?!) so it looks like i'll be there and be ultra sorted. Eek!

i just need a better job.

theres one for an MBNA branch in chester (well, several, each month - alarum! etc) - its basically call centre job, mercifully inbound customer service jobs, or i wouldn't even consider it. but is comes with a decent benefits package. they reckon its about 18k, but thats an OTE (not sure what that stands for, i'd hazard a guess at Over the Top Exaggeration) but even if they pay minimum wage and expect you to jump through firey hoops for extras, theres still more hours than i have now. and i'm thinking if i don't have any luck by may, i'm going to see out my 26th birthday as pure and worthy of heaven(ish) then on the 3rd make an appointment to sell my soul and phone up for an interview.

of course, i i don't get a job there, then i'm committing suicide, cause after that, its death or MacDonalds, and i'd go with death every time.

ah ha! i have a solid plan of action! yey me!

Oh, and i have a new favorite Gene Hunt quote (from Life on Mars) "You've got fingers in more pies than a leper on a cookery course"

i't might make it into the sig i think.

and i had an idea for one of those banner things on the bus today - you know the song 'Captain Fantastic' by Elton John? (back in the 70's when he was great) well i want a long strip of a picture with Mal and Jayne on it, and the Lyric from the song 'Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, From the end of the world to your town' in the album art type face, with the word crappy wedged in between 'your' and 'town' in a red felt tip pen type style.

i was all set to do it, until i realised, a, it was an awful lot of work, b, i didn't have the software and c, i was clueless anyway.

ah well.
