You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

What? What should I say? "Warning: I'm being sexy"? Honestly, I'd like to think that's kind of expected (Well, okay, so maybe not to the same extent.)
Anyway, here's the black and red outfit. I haven't worn these clothes since the last time I had a date; was nice to put them on again, if only for a little photoshoot.

And jie jie? It's not winter yet. The solstice hasn't hit, it's still fall. Don't try to tell me that not only are the seasons reversed there, but the Earth tilts differently? Sorry there's no heat, though. Still, a sweater and a blankie is about all I need in 50 degree weather. Oh, and I should mention that my mom puts off turning on the heat until hse can't stand it anymore (it's a money thing, of course) and she can take a whole lot more cold that I can and still be comfortable.

Causal - I miss them too. I heard something about them trying to release a new album, or something. I will look more into it.

HK - agreed, 50 is tropical (and shorts weather, if I wore shorts).

Magda - Sounds like you need a big ole jimibearhug to keep you warm all night *bigassjimibearhuggles*

EDIT: Coming to this thread in the first place is torture for me, as I cannot see photobucket pics here at work. I have to remember to visit this thread when I am home, if I ever get online.

They are actually playing a 9 show residency at The Orange Peel here in NC. Asheville to be exact. Unfortunately all 9 sold out in some crazy short period of time. My buddy got his and called to tell me and they were already gone. :(

Overobsessed--nice to see your smiling face after all this time. Think you'll become a regular around here?

Magda--cute as always, but now with winter weather rig. Thank heavens its summer in the northern hemisphere! (Good luck with the winter.)

Hobbleit--Where abouts do you live? The weather looks like May/June in San Diego, but that can't be right.

PR--I like the new 'do. But I don't think the one angle does it justice. You'll have to take (and post) lots more photos!

And since most recent photos of me involve my niece, here's another one of me and Isabelle:

This is quite possibly the neatest picture I've seen in a long time. You have very large, masculine arms, and they are holding that tiny, lovely baby with such tenderness.

No, it's North-East England in June. Can't tell it apart from the rest of the year. Grey and cludy is typical weather

You know, I always forget just how pretty we browncoats actually are.... and then I come on the picture thread, and you all seem to get prettier everytime I do!

Ok, prom is in a week, so I promise faithfully that I will post a pic of me all glammed up and ready to party!
*giggles excitedly* ooo cant wait!!

edit: PR and Roxy, those alter egos are amazing! did you draw them?

I kissed a frog once, and it turned into an investment banker.
It was horrific.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

How wonderful to see you, DreadPirate

I used heromachine (and photoshop) for my super persona. Roxy's is a yahoo avatar.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Overobsessed--yeah, my niece is a cutie. And guess what? My other sister is having her first in a about a month. So very soon there will be pictures of me holding two babies! (Prepare to swoon, ladies!)(There will be much bunkage. )

DreadPirate--what a way to make an entrance! All those lovely pics. And I agree with Jimi: you look like 76th Battalion material. Oh, also: keep the photos coming!

What'd you do?

SBD Blonde--yes-yes! Prom pics! We'll hold you to that promise, you know.

And I don't have a superhero alter ego. So here's my Browncoat alter ego Solomon (with his faithful black market beagle):
