After 20 minutes or so SR gets Snarky to run the fireworks display whilst he sneaks of to get a beer and in the process he can not help but notice the odd chicken man 13 stuck in the water.
"I've been sober too long. I'm halucinating strange creatures from Zanzibar." SR mutters under his breath as he walks into the bar.

I love fireworks as well. Until I was 18, I was terrified of the noise. Loved to see them from a distance, but couldn't be anywhere near them. Then, one day when I was 18, I was around where some fireworks were set off and it didn't bother me. I was sooooo happy that I could watch them up close!**

His mouth is full of cake when he notices Malicious. His eyes go wide. Then he coughs, swallows the cake, and bows. "Mistress! You have again graced us with your presence! Sadly, we have not had occasion to visit the Land of the Lost Beauty Barn since the days of Mai-Quest1. We have had two Mai-Quests since."

He reaches into his coat pocket to retrieve the engraved, solid gold invitation to the party. He holds it forth in his outstretched hands.

"Welcome home!"

Well, as I recall the events:

There was a war between the sexes in Threads 1 and 2. The women apparently won, for in Thread 3 there were women reclining in hammocks being served drinks with little umbrellas by numerous cabana boys. The cabana boys would also rock the hammocks of their mistresses and wave palm fronds at them.

Sadly, it seemed that they started sneaking off. There was an incident where a cabana boy ran off with a hat check girl. Then a call came from the mistresses to turn them all into eunuchs. This idea was not supported by all the mistresses, but it served to drastically lower the cabana boy population. The very last self-described cabana boy was Monkeytail, whom we have seen on occasion since those days.

It was during the middle of Thread 3 that I joined the clubhouse (the Sereni-Tree did not yet exist). I performed some minioning duties, but my eye was toward the future. I created Sparky to serve the mistresses, and the rest progressed from there.

We had a marvelous Friday night party, too! ThatWeirdgirl, Ebonezer, Sparky, some muppet creature, and I were all there. Ebo rocked on her guitar while Sparky made guacamole punch!

I hadn't worked out all his bugs yet.
