Do me a favor if you would, Steg, and take the 'most recent picture thread' link out of the first post so people don't get confused? Thanks.

PR: I do so enjoy your photos! And I did get rid of that line. Bear with me, my first photo thread and all.

NV: Did you actually collect that little item? I was in during the first Gulf War, was sorry we didn't finish the job then...we were right there...

Penguin: If needbe, you could pull out a paring knife and hold it behind your back with your flipper-wing.

Magda: Thankie, sai! I'm still working on it too.

HK: Yes, dear. lol...meager. I used to have a HUGE collection before, but it was stolen. I'm just working it back up now.

Sorry all for any confusion, folks. I'm a collector and admirer of all things sharp and shiny, so I really wanted to see what everyone had in one post.

Also, please feel free to show off any weapons of the bang-bang, boomstick variety as well. I do so love the look of a mean and shiny pop-gun.

Also......has anyone figured out the second pic in my post? I didn't think it would be too hard, but no one's said anything yet.

Actually, the Operative sword was made from this one.

I acquired that sword about 2 years before shooting for Serenity began. It's actually in the exact state from when I bought it (I tend to leave the protective oil on them so they don't rust).

When they created the Operative's sword, they removed the fabric from the handle, added posts for the leather to twine around, and of course, then the leather. Not to mention they buffed the heck outta them.

Shortly after Serenity started production, my vendor told me that the wholesale supplier ran out of that model, because they were all bought up for the props and of course the Museum Replica line. The lower one is the one they used, and the picture is a bit deceiving, as it is the exact size of the Operatives.

I knew you'd catch it tho.

You see, what no one has really stated here as of yet is that all the women-folk need do is post a picture of themselves.

What I've learned in my many years is that the female form is a weapon in-and-of iteself, therefore negating the need for plastic and steel.

However it is so great to see each and every Lady on this forum "show us their stuff" in the good and decent way!

Edit: Wow...that sounded "preachier" than I meant it to be...but I'm not changing it...lol

Wow, there's a name I haven't seen in a while! How have you been? Besides frustrated, I mean. Where do the pix "exist" now? Just in you memory card? Does your camera have a USB cord? Failing that, I have a $33 (?) memory card adapter thingy I picked up at Meijer. In the photo dept. not the computer byproduct dept.

Okay, it's late. I am gone. Hope you get it worked out, Kayna. And don't be such a stranger.

Yeah, I've mostly been lurking lately. Things have been all right. Nothing special. I hate my job (just so happen to work at Miejers right now) but I got some money from the government for school so that's good.

And I solve my pic problem! Yes, they were on the memory card. Now they are in my photobucket! I hijacked my brother's oh so nice laptop to do it. So here they are.
Well, some of them. More next post.

My reaverish items. No pics with the sword cause it's too big for taking a shot of myself with it.

And my mini-reaver hand axe. I luvs it so.

This is one of my nicer items.

This rapier dagger was one of my first pointy, sharp things.

And this was my very first sharp 'n pointy. I don't know why but I love the way linolium knives are shaped. Looks like I'm pikkin' my teeth doesn't it?
