Maybe ReaverCowBob can play the ReaverCowBell?

I'm going to go prep Ocean Cloud for flight. There's a wonderful spot I found last time I was here that I just have to visit again. Very peaceful.

"So Finn now that we are having some time to attend to your hygiene I have to say, that though I am not unwilling to the task, I look forward to the day when you are fully capable of self service."

"Here's something I made to keep you busy."

SR gives Finn a rattle cobbled together out of recycled hardware. Finn is now exploring the possibilities of percussionist as a future career.

"All done. What would you like to do now?"

OOC: Thanks BC :)

UNOOC: :P While I'm sure bob would love to have a cowbell he really is tone def. He's better off skampering about in the park with his new friends.

Also, I don't know whose the singer for the band, but I have a request for a song. Actually it takes more than one singer, "Seasons of Love" from RENT.

*looks around*

"uh... in an entirely manly appreciation for a musical..."

*blinks and mumbles*

"damn, that really can't be very manly can it? Appreciation for a musical..."

I have lots of respect for anyone who gets that song. And it is manly, because its brave to be able to say those kinds of things.

I'll sing it!!!!

*runs around and tries to recruit others to sing it with her dragging what has become her potter-clone behind her*

-OCC: There is no problem appreciating musicals! Being able to say you like them is actually more manly than denying it anyways!-

OOC: I know that we should have dropped out of hyperspace by now, but that will involve a thread change and I'm a little too busy IRL. I'll try to handle it tonight.

There are there are worse things to have stuck there, and no I'm not going to sing it. No I'm serious, I'm not going to sing it. You can't make me and I won't do it, so stop asking. I'm not kidding! Does th phrase "non-negoitable" have any coherent meaning to you?

Looks up from where she's teaching one of the clones clapping games, and rolls her eyes at the man antics.

The clone copeis the eye roll then goes through a whole range of faces until he settle on one that he likes - an amused smile with one eyebrow slighly raised. then taking a few seconds to arrange his mouth around the words, he says surprisingly clearly...

"Pumpkin juice and chicken sandwiches!"

Seryn gapes for a moment, recovers her wits and claps delightedly "Right you are! Come on all of you, dinner time!"

Toddles off to the kitchen with most of them in tow, musing over how uncomfortable liquid sugar would be to remove once it hardened on the skin, cheap waxing anyway...

SR is staring deeply into Finn's eyes.

"What's that you say, if I don't sing it, the ninth gate will breach and Hell will flow forth and consume all? I'm not entirely certain that is the less desirable of the two options. Very well so be it."

"Did I actually say that out loud or did I just think it?"

"All right! All right! I'll sing it!"

SR sets Finn down in a secure spot and walks over to a auxiallary microphone.

He taps the mike "Testing, Testing. Okay were good. Allright all ready I said I would sing it.

"WIIIIILLLLD THAAANG! YA MAKE MA HAAART SIIINNGGG!"

OOC I told you that there are worse things to have stuck in your head.

I've got you one better on songs to get stuck in your head: The Andy Griffith theme song.

For those of you not familiar with the tune, you can hear it here:

Keep in mind you will be listening to this at your own risk!

Oh I can beat you all that annoying songs game...

"Little bunny foo-foo hopping through the forest, scooping up the field mice and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPING them on the head!
Down came the good faerie and the good faerie said "Little bunny foo I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU SCOOPING UP THE FIELD MICE AND BOPPING THEM ON THE HEAD!" I'll give you 2 more chances!
So the next day, little bunny foo-foo hopping through the forest...."

Heh. Ok you get the idea. Add to that 12 singing/screeching/screaming little tikes under the age of 5. Fun!

Ooh curses me loves curses!

Here's the big finale...

"Little bunny foo-foo hopping through the forest, scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head. Down comes the good faerie and the good faerie says, Little bunny foo-foo I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU SCOOPING UP THE FIELD MICE AND BOPPING THEM ON THE HEAD! I'll give you one more chance! So, the next day, Little bunny foo-foo hopping through the forest, scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head. Down comes the good faerie and the good faerie says.
Little bunny foo-foo I thought I told you no more hopping through the forest, scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head....
POOF! Little bunny foo-foo is turned into a goon!

Hey what do you say this is our first song in our set? I bet it'll make us super rock stars in no time!

Speaking of, has anyone seen Flower? I called her to come meet us for the rehersal and she's still not here...

I got you both beat because those songs don't stick in my head HA! I know far too much music to have something inane squatting in my auditory consciousness. Seriously if I don't like what I'm hearing I'll just listen to something else.

Ok, worse even yet. My daughters have developed a fondness for Holly Dolly the singing donkey.

Let me tell you, I am one step away from getting my power drill to get the song out of my head. My wife may beat me to it though...

is the link if you are brave enough. Don't say I didn't warn you...

The Firefly theme song. Sonny Rhodes is driving me batty.

Take my brain in your hand
Toss it in a frying pan.
I won't care cuz I'll be free
If you can take this tune from me!

So, do I get the job as lyricist for the band?

(The truth is I actually like the Firefly tune and many Sonny Rhodes songs. And our birthday falls on the same day, go figure).

ooc - My mum was dancing on a table with her best friend to that song at a dance, and my dad was the one who came over to tell her to get down.
No I don't know why they decided to marry each other either, but don't knock that song - its the reason i'm alive!
That and my niece has just learned little Rabbit Frou Frou, but every time I hear I start singing 'Little Rabbit Frou Frou riding through the glen, Little Rabbit Frou Frou, with his band of men. Feared by the Bad! Loved by the good....
Yeah, for some reason.

"Wild Thang... *d dum dum, dum dum dum DUM!*"

Humms the song while several of the Potters fill in on air guitar.

OOC for every thing there is a purpose. I never said it was bad per se, just something you don't want stuck in your head. Spears are a lot like that too.

THEREALME

Deep in the bowels of Sereni-Tree’s main engineering, Jet leads TheRealMe to a certain wall. “Here’s the problem. Behind here.”

He scratches his head. “The reason that we haven’t translated back to normal space?”

She nods. “Yes.” Jet reaches up and pulls on a lever. It doesn’t budge. The small woman exerts more effort and lifts her body into the air. She starts muttering curses.

“Bride4, allow me to help,” TheRealMe says. He tugs down on the lever and brings both it and Jet down to the deck.

The wall before the pair unfolds in an impressive display of techno-magic. In the space beyond is a huge device whose turns and curves do not seem to quite obey Euclidian geometry. It appears to be some odd sculpture existing simultaneously in eleven dimensions. All about it crackles visible blue energy, like it was covered with a coating of living lightning.

“That’s the jump capacitor,” Jet explains. .

“It doesn’t seem to be discharging,” TheRealMe observes. “Why not? Is this more tampering by the FemaleReaver?”

“Not sure. But until we get that charge off of it, we’ll be stuck in hyperspace.”

“This is keeping us from Zanzibar? This thing?” As TheRealMe gestures toward the jump capacitor, a bolt of lightening arcs from it across space to his hand, causing a blast that knocks both he and Jet against the far bulkheads.

The Sereni-Tree shudders as it drops out of hyperspace over Zanzibar.

TheRealMe, Captain of the Sereni-Tree
Jet/Bride4, Engineer of the Sereni-Tree
