my prized possession is a Serenity trading card I've got with a piece of Wash's shirt in it...I know it's just a bit of fabric stuck in a cardboard sandwich, but it's a part of verse history for me, so I treasure it...someone offered me $200 for it and I said no. don't know if I'll ever be broke or desperate enough to sell it.

I'm not sure if I'll get one for Christmas, but I saw on Ebay original scripts of Firefly episodes and the Serenity movie signed by the original cast! I askd my mom for one for Christmas, but I dont know if I'll get it. If I do, That will be mine!!

Right now, though because I don't have much, it's probably the Serenity Collectors Edition.

Hey you are one up on me...I wish I had the collectors edition...I live in a neglected underdeveloped part of NSW Australia (ie.anywhere outside Sydney) so we didn't get them here, and I just don't trust E-Bay.

I use Ebay a lot. All you have to pay attention is payment method, their feedback and the product itself. The rest just kind of works out. Damn near magical. That sucks though. When will Austrailia get them? (aside from Sydney)

I'm thinking of buying a collectors edition and the Series and raffling them off in my town. I know there are some huge Browncoat supporters, and god knows the word has probably spread. Christmas is coming up too. It would sure be great to get a 10 year old little boy or girl interested in this 'verse. Little boy who wants to be like Wash or Mal. Or a little girl who can fall in love with Simon. (I know I sure have!)

I don't have any official memorabilia, but I do have a Nathan Fillion signed Mal comic. With a cute picture of him chewing on a 258 Authentic sign as he signed the comics.

I have a poster from the pre-screenings, signed by Summer. I even managed to stammer out a few coherent words to her!

Off-Verse, I have Nathan's signature in a copy of Softwire.

MAL "You only gotta scare him."
JAYNE "Pain is scary..."

Got The Softwire too. With Nathan's sig and author, PJ Haarsma's sig too. And a signed picture card of the two of them.

Awesome book by the way. I'd love to see Nathan in the movie version as a grown up JT.

My favourite piece of "Firefly" memorabilia is the boxed set signed by the entire cast, Joss Whedon, Tim Minnear, Jonathan Woodward and Christine Hendricks. Makes my heart sigh with joy every time.

LWAVES

Well I have:

Mal's Pistol (TV series): solid resin but unfinished.
Jayne's Pistol (BDM): the one that River points at Mal. Finished and looks cool.
Four ID badges from Ariel (homemade).
Various denominations of BDM money.
Couple of pieces of Serenity (the ship) related paperwork.

I'm working on River's medical papers (seen briefly in the lab where they were testing her at the start of the BDM)

I think that's it. Got a reasonable collection of props from various shows/movies that isn't catatlogued yet so it's hard to remember what I've got.

Lwaves, Wow, that is some really cool memorabilia! I like the idea of you doing River's medical papers. You would also think someone would have done Inara's Guild papers and maybe Wash's pilot licence or do you plan to do them later? Good luck, I really take my hat off to gifted people like you who can create such shiny replicas. Keep Flyin' -

More of a collector than a maker.
I only really do paper props, and then only for myself. There is too much hassle of certain people ripping of your work and then selling it on Ebay. By and large most prop collectors/makers are great, but there are always the few. The only other forum I visit, aside from this one, is a prop forum.

The resin ones are by other talented people that have access to the molds or equipment to make them. My skills are limited to photoshop and illustrator.

I think there is some kind of Inara ID around on the prop forums but I don't think I've ever seen a pilot's licence. Might be a good one to mention!!
I know you can get Mal's/Serenity's documents from Bushwacked. A guy named Whitefall did them and he now does them through Quantum Mechanix.

FOLLOWMAL

I have exactly the same things that NCB does, plus some very sweet gifts from other Browncoats thru the last couple of years.

'Verse related, signed. I can't believe I've been so loved and spoiled.

My office is filled with stuff and as I sit and type this, my Buddha from B3 is right above me on the top shelf, looking down at me to remind me of that awesome time.

I already have the ship's papers set and they are so shiny. When Whitefall did an update he was kind enough to send me the updated version. I am excited because there are going to be more figures coming out. The bust of Mal is just out and next will be Inara then Zoe. Just hope they do all the gorram crew this time. I want to see how they do Book, Simon and Kaylee too.

TURNIPYODOUR

My favourite items so far include:

One of a kind Mal pistol prototype with display stand made by QMx. The most expensive item I've won on eBay.
Resin model of Mal's pistol cast from the screen used gun.
Metal version of Mal's pistol.
Set of round cards and Chinese metal amulet cards like the ones used by Simon, Jayne and Book when gambling for chores.
Firefly parking lot pass used by cast and crew.
Firefly press kit DVD that's got unreleased interview clips and an extended version of the set tour with Joss that weren't on the series boxset.
Serenity VHS and DAT tape versions of the press kit.
Serenity CD-ROM press kit.
Complete master sets of the Firefly and Serenity trading cards.
An ever-expanding collection of signed photos that I can't seem to stop buying.
