IN LOVE WITH A SHIP CALLED SERENITY! i wish all this was real... well at leats i still have my dreams, annd i have a few choice word for those jerks at fox as well... anyway...

I just really want to be a part of that world...I'd cope well in that kind of enviroment. Also Firefly/Serenity makes me laugh till my face hurts (or bite my tongue til it bleeds...what happened to me when I first watched the Outtakes on the Serenity DVD), and it encourages me to stop and think about what I'm doing, what's motivating me, and how it affects people...Other shows I watch, are just entertaining, they don't influence my thinking in anyway. I also love what Firefly/Serenity has to say about where our society is at, and where it's heading. As far as I'm concerned I already exist on the raggedy edge of society. I'm cool with that, it means I've got my mind and Eyes open. The biggest thing I love about The whole Firefly Phenomena, is how diverse it's audience is. It seems to resonate positively with every kind of person you could possibly think of and brings the most interesting combinations of personalities together. Every friend I've shared it with has become hooked, even the die hard "I hate SCi-fi" types. That's my quota of sharing for the month, I will stop gushing now and get back to my studies...although I'd really rather watch Firefly.

Serenity is home and family. It's the place where you belong.

When there are no heroes where will we turn?

To me it's a great show with lots of endearing characters... I would almost beg for more. Also I would beg for the resurrection of Wash. Haha.

Firefly/Serenity is a show that not everyone gets, which is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Why? At once it makes you feel special that you’re one of the lonely browncoats that understand what Joss and company were out to do, then again those numbers didn’t seem to be strong enough to breath life into our wonderful verse longer than 14 episodes. That is one thing we here are out to remedy, and we’ve done that to some extent. With the help of browncoats on this board, the Universal board and forums all across the www we are getting the word out. THIS SHOW NEEDS TO HAVE A SECOND CHANCE!!
I want to see,
Kaylee back working on Serenity’s engine which she holds together with Band-Aids and duck tape.
Mal, giving orders and directing his crew on how to get out of thoes tuff situations by any means possible.
Jayne, being his Jayne self.
Simon taking care of his crew and his sister.
River tossing sh*t about because who really understands her?
Inara, looking up clients on the cortex.
Zoey becoming extremely excited to see Wash coming up the ramp (because we know Joss has a plan for that)
And Book back at the supper table saying grace ( quietly of course)

Firefly is part of me now
