you know i've been terribly grumpy of late, and had no idea why. i consulted with family and workmates and event spent considerable time at my local farm asking the Llama's there what they though.
Its an icecream factory as well i'm not that crazy.

I bought an Eagle of Death Metal album and set my homepage to I Can Has Cheezburger.... but alas not, still grumpy.

But I realise now what it is - i've gone some considerable time without talking to you guys.

How very stupid of me - i shall endeavour not to do it again.

There was an extended holiday weekend? Why did I have to work. Oh, yeah. I have one of those Jobs Jayne's Dad was talking about when he said anybody who can't find a job ain't looking. Which is to say a crap job that doesn't give people the day of for freaking national holidays. Sorry, just had to vent.

I'm paid triple time, or rather, merely double time + a banked vacation day, for working statutory holidays. The fact that I sign up for these shifts demonstrates a certain lack of character.

I have one of those jobs too. I had to burn vacation time to be off. I also don't get overtime when I work holidays other than X-mas/Thanksgiving and that's just a slight increase, not even x1.5.

There's a musical of Silence of the Lambs? I've seen Evil Dead 1&2: The Musical. It's not so much with the good, but if you love the movies you may get a laugh or two. Here's a NSFW song from the show:

Not to the best of my knowledge but the fact that you had to ask says a good deal about the state of The Theater in the US.

Edit because my knowledge wasn't very best http://www.jonandal.com/ also edit to praise the strange mind(s) behind whatever that thing you posted was.

Huge hug back! I've been away far too long - how was D*C? or is that a banned topic?

I've done nothing in work all day, woke up all foggy brained and couldn't shift it, then spent a lot of time running after La Princess http://www.lamachine.co.uk/ as she was carried off to the Arena, then the PM launched a surprise attack *cough* visit, so we all ran around pretending to be happy productive workers. He's really not a doughy and wrinkly as he looks on tv - and much taller too, has to get a better make-up artist. Who is it who protects the prime minister? Is is the army or the police or MI5 or what? cause they're crap! all running round with their black suit and ear pieces, not one of them thought to check Big Art (the children s gallery) and yet from where I was standing in there i could have got an excellent shot at him. Stoopid security people.

So yes, not a particularly productive day. So hugs are more than welcome

A bit longer from my time zone but definitely for sure yeah. And being off early has the disadvantage of less money in the pay packet on tuesday but the decided advantage of maybe being a bit less cumulatively sore come saturday which is certainly nice.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PEEK_and_POKE but actually it looks like I'm mistaken about the assemblerness of the statements. It's still ancient computer stuff but BASIC not assembler.
