I know! It's driving me nuts. The rest of the show I like but that hair has to go.

C'mon, it's Lindsay! I'm just psyched he's back on, and with such a cool show too! Long hair? Feh....he's a lil ass kickin' machine! Reminds me of when he came back all tatt'd up, and mixed it up w/ Angel.

I'd rather have long hair Lindsay than nothin'. Geeze, stop y'all complainin'!

Thanks for the heads-up. I thought Leverage looked like it might be kinda cool, so I set the DVR to grab it whenever it's on. I've got four or five episodes on the box now, but haven't watched - and I had no idea Christian Kane was even in it! I set it to record because of Timothy Hutton, and figured if he's in it, it's at least worth checking out. Now I've got even MORE of a reason to watch!

It's funny, because my wife saw some previews, and commented on "that guy's hair looks ridiculous", but neither of us even recognized Lindsay. And you're right - Lindsay with long hair is better than no Lindsay at all.

but, it does look ridiculous. I am glad he is on it, but I can't get past the hair.

When I watch it and he comes on screen it sort of takes over.

Gina Bellman is wicked hot. I can't place where I've seen her before, but I know I've seen those eyes of hers somewhere before. I just can't remember where.

She is very well known here in the UK. She was a regular on a British show called coupling. Kind of our version of Friends. It was ok. She's ok at comedy.

However it's uncanny you should mention her eyes. I think one of her first roles was in a show called:

Black Eyes - A Dennis Potter thing. He was the writer of The Singing Detective, did you guys ever see that in the US? He was very famous back here and well revered. Personally I found his stuff uncomfortably perverted. But anyway here's her on IMDB.

Am I the only one that likes CK's hair?

In any case, great show. It's so nice to have something good to watch while everything's on hiatus.

Took me a while, but I finally figured out she was the wife in BBC's "Jekyll" miniseries. And the girl who played Jamie Sommers in the remake of Bionic Woman was the secretary in Jekyll...

Okay, so I watched the first couple episodes. It's hard for me to get into. I like the concept, and enjoy watching the capers come together in the back half, but there's an awful lot of "Bellasario" cheesiness in the show still - too much in the vein of Magnum, PI or The A-Team.

I'll try it some more and see where it goes.

But I loooove the A-Team of it all. I am just loving the show in general. I watched four in a row and was just very happy. I have always loved Timothy Hutton; and Christian Kane is fun to watch, the writing and the pacing of this show is awesome.

I had to make up a new word to best describe Leverage - Its yummylicious!

I am really excited to watch more.

CHRISTHECYNIC

I realize that I've come to the conversation two weeks late, but I have something to add.

My sister has a theory on why I like Leverage, why my mother likes Leverage, why her new boyfriend likes Leverage, and why she likes Leverage. This is her theory, word for word:
Leverage is Firefly.

She says she came upon this discovery when she was unable to name a favorite character (they're all good, all have their place, so forth.)

I argued that Leverage was not, in fact, Firefly. For one thing, Leverage doesn't have enough people. More importantly Firefly is largely about trying to get by, not helping people. She countered by pointing to Heart of Gold, and them giving the cargo back in The Train Job. Our Mrs. Reynolds also helped her point.

I maintained that they were far more, "Steal from the rich, sell to the poor," than, "I help people." That said, the first episode of Leverage ends with them getting the score. What would our crew do if they no longer needed to work? I don't see Mal settling down so maybe he would turn into Nathan Ford.

So, what do you all think of my sister's theory?
