Why does this remind me of the Doctor Who episode "Blink"?

Ninja cat may show you his secret method, but he will never show you mercy...

there was actually a video up at one point that mixed that with some of the doctor's speech from that episode, it was pretty cool. Sadly I haven't been able to find it lately.

Yeah, that's a new one, at least to me. The other one, where they DON'T show you how they did it, is the one I'd seen before. Nice to see how it's done.

Yikes - makes me feel lucky that mine usually only go for feet and hands! My smallest, Rodger, like to grab my hand with his forepaws, sinking the claws in nice and good so I can't pull away, and then "peel out" on my forearm with his back paws. Great fun, lots of scarring. :) He has the fun, I get the scars!

Theo is a bit of a worry. he was taken from his mum too young so his social skills arediminished. he's very much like the cats you see in the wild. he does keep his claws in though and thankfully he only has small teeth so doesn't do that much damage. he will aim for the head when he can or else do the stealth attack on my legs when I don't see him lurking.

Funny - Peedie, my oldest cat, will reach out and grab my hand as I walk by his feeding station (I have to feed the cats up out of reach of the dog, otherwise she'll eat their food). He grabs my hand and pulls it to his head and MAKES me pet him. Rodger has caught on as well, and now grabs my hand and makes me pet him, preferably while he eats. Never met a cat who wants to be petted while eating, but Rodger does. And he'll stop eating if I stop petting him, and come grab my hand again.

All my cats and dogs have had their own unique personalities, and I'm better for having known any of them.

Closest one to ninja around here would be Kallista, who's SO smart if she had opposable thumbs we'd be screwed - we couldn't figure out how she was getting in and out of closed rooms till one day I caught her doing it - she would jump and hang on the french-lever doorknob to open the door, then push it closed behind her, AND she was smart enough to check for humans before trying it...
Of course, we humans can be sneaky too!

And then there's Squirmy who is best termed "violently affectionate" - she will headram you, flail up against you, fling herself in your lap squirming, and if THAT don't work, play the fact that she only has three legs (missing back-right) for sympathy, milkin it for all it's worth, which is BS cause she's the second fastest cat in the house!

She's also more energetic than the damn energizer bunny, she NEVER stops, and will wear out even small hyperactive children in short order.

My dear old Dad does floor exercises in the morning. Theo the cat positions himself at his head and tries to catch his arms as he moves them...or he just grabs his head in a bearlock. funny to watch.
When we are around, Theo won't eat his dry food unless one of us puts a finger in it. My parents have been away for a couple of days so he has been trying to fight me for dominance of our territory...funny yet annoying. He can open doors, but won't. he will also wait to be let in through one door for 5-10 minutes only to have us open another door to go out seconds later. he could just as easily make the trip to the other side of the yard in less time than it took to wait. I think he believes its his job to keep us busy.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Oh, I do love that, thank you! I like the first one better, it doesn't take my focus off the cat, and the sense of suspense is better (tho' yes, it DOES remind of that Dr. Who epi).
