I was 8 years old when Le Mans came out, and I became instantly obsessed with it, begging to go see it whenever I'd see it on a marquis. Must've seen it at least 10 times in theatres. Then, when I found it on DVD, I put it on Loop for about 2 weeks, until my player burned out. I even got the coffee table book on the making of it. http://www.amazon.com/French-Kiss-Death-Michael-Keyser/dp/0837602343 (Except I didn't have to pay $698.12 for a new one! ) Here's your trivia tidbit for today: The #20 Gulf Porsche 917 is now owned by... Jerry Seinfeld!
