Okay, folks:

Some of the Browncoats out there are aware that I've been singing with a group called WarBand ( www.warband-rocks.com) for a couple of months now, and have expressed a desire to hear me. This is your opportunity not only to hear me, but to help out someone who desperately needs it.

There are times in your life where you have to step up and help others...

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES...

WarBand is stepping up in support of our friend, Jess, who is having some financial difficulties. WarBand has ALWAYS stood in support of its friends and fans, and you have always stood in support of us - so I'm calling everyone out. On Wednesday, 28 July we're playing this gig. The cover will be $5 at the door, all proceeds to benefit Jess. The band is doing this as a freebie. We will also have a Paypal link setup soon for those that want to contribute but can't attend. Let's step up and help out a friend.

(This gig will be in Tampa, Florida, so I know lots of folks won't be able to make it, but for those who can, please do - I'd like to meet some more Browncoats in the area!

We have two volunteers, who will be running the door. We also have one volunteer who has offered to help run the kitchen. We need more people to help cook and serve - e-mail Goldy at goldy @ hal-tec . com if you can help. (Obviously, this would be for the more local folks...

)
