I'm hiding from a head cold. A weekend seeking head cold that's wiped out the one nice day for weeks. On my day off no less. Up side: getting caught up on tivo since I'm too head cold stupid to do any active thinking. Finally finished off Caprica. Still way behind on Chuck though. I save those for when I really need cheering up. Which would work great if I could run two strands of co-ax 6 blocks to work.

i started to watch Caprica, but couldn't get past the 3rd or 4th episode. maybe i should try again if it gets better?

also, im assuming you've watched all of BSG? maybe you can explain to me what the hell happened there at the end? stupid shows making me think...

Not sure that it does really. If the themes of shifting identity and allegiances didn't grab you there probably isn't a point to pushing on. There's too much stuff to watch to spend time on something that your not enjoying. Also it doesn't really come to any conclusion.

The first two seasons of Battlestar are very good. Season three floundered a bit but Season four returned to form mostly with the caveat that there are a few plot lines that just kind of get dropped and the Finale left a large number of people underwhelmed.

I just bought 96 tablets of pseudoephedrin - for my cold you know - I expect that the Illinois State Police will be swarming my house looking for the meth lab any minute now.*

Actually feeling loads better at the moment but I'm still a bit sniffly/coughy.

*State of Ill. law: To purchase products containing the aforementioned drug you need to provide your State ID to the pharmacist so they can tally against a database. Ostensibly to curb meth manufacture.
