I am of the opinion that CHRIS should have been voted out at the first tribal council. His inability to cross the balance beam on, what, 8? 10? tries (when the ONE LEGGED guy did it on his first attempt) should have been that tribe's lightbulb moment. He is going to be their weakest link.

Opinions? Anyone?

There's so much more going on that we don't see. That Brook guy could have been a total jerk the rest of the time, and I don't know how long I could live with that.

Also, it's not like they're going to have a balance beam every week. I mean, really, his worst weakness has probably already been used. Maybe he'll be a lot better at the puzzles or running or swimming. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.

PhysChick, your probably right about all that. But if I had been in that tribal council I wouldn't have a second thought about voting Chris out of that tribe.

from what we were shown it looked like Chris was a big jerk...
but as you said, it is hard to get a total picture...

I always kind of hate dividing the women & the men, what do you guys think?

And I love the filming, my favorite part of the show is the scenery (I mean the natural setting, and NOT the flakey contestants)!

I'm not a fan of this either... it seems like the women get more catty when there are no men around. Considering that the last time they did this I had to stop watching because the "Pretty Girls" alliance pissed me off so much, I'm really hoping they mix them up soon.

I tend to cheer for the older contestants, though, and dividing the men and women seems to weed them out first. I just find the older people are usually there more for the adventure or the challenge, and not so much because they're desparately seeking their 15 minutes of fame (though obviously everyone on these shows has some of that). I find the older folks generally have some interesting stuff to say in their confessionals and they're more amusing. I'm really liking Scout already, I think she'll be very entertaining - but I could see her going early as the "Pretty Girls" already seem to be grouping together.

Not true, just f.y.i.... My wife's a real cutey.

Also, I think this is the first-ever incident of someone replying--with quote--to themselves.

Ha-Ha, let me guess, you are scared your wife might actually see the "powerful-ugly woman" comment and kick your ass!

I actually cheer more for the female tribes simply because the males of the species become so assinine when they are in a...pack (for lack of a better term). I mean, they are totally and completely stunned each and every time the women kick their ass at something, like it's pre-ordained they will win and then this cosmic imbalance occurs, somehow letting the women sneak in a win. I'd laugh if it wasn't so disappointing. Oh, and men suck too you know.

Any/everyone,

Does anyone have any idea what role Rupert will be playing this season? Is he going to step in for Jeff perhaps? OR, is he a reward for winning a challenge? Perhaps he will build everyone a hut with a basement that floods...?

Okay! Tonight is the finale, wanna discuss it?

It's 8:02 right now. I'm taping it and going to bed, but my prediction is: Chris and Twyla for final 2 with Chris winning. I'd rather have Eliza win, anyone but Scout or Twyla, but she'd have to get several immunities.

Sooo, anyone?
