Serenity trailer in Australia?

Just wondering if anyone had seen the serenity trailer in Australian cinemas yet. It's coming out here before the US, so I was thinking the trailer should be being shown here too. I have no idea... just really want to see it on the big screen.

If anyone has any idea when or before what movie it will be shown I'd be eternally grateful.

As far as I knew, the trailer was supposed to open around Australia on Thursday 29th July. I've been to the movies since then and haven't seen it.

My fiance has been twice and hasn't seen it.

Bit of a disappointment, but I'm sure closer to Sep 29th we'll get inundated.

Considering that the premier was sold out in a matter of hours (I missed out by 15-20 minutes, can you believe it?!?!?), I'm expecting it to be big.

A friend of mine saw the trailer when she saw The Island. That's the film UIP said they were trying to get it on. Haven't heard of it being on anything else just yet though.

Managed to get a ticket to the Perth preview screening by accident. Peoples won't be dissapointed!

There are new Serenity preview screenings at Hoyts in NSW in the next two weeks (Broadway, Erina and Penrith). And there are tickets left - or there were on the Hoyts site this morning.

I saw it in front of Stealth a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately it was the first thing they showed even before all the TV ads. I was glad to see the trailer, but I would have thought that the trailer for a movie that is being released in two weeks would have had a much better location. After all they showed the trailer for Doom, after the TV ads and it wasn't due for release for another couple of months.
