I've heard two recently: one rather sadly belongs to a good friend of mine with a stupid sense of humor and no sense of tact. it's basically an old fashioned ringing followed by a guy in a not so convincing Indian accent saying" hello and some unchoice things. a few of our other friends are of Indian extraction, and find it insulting. but he still thinks it's funny, and we put up with it because he's such a good guy despite his social failings. Another annoying one I heard recently was a looud voice saying "hello helloo who's there? etc. the ringtone belonged to a woman studying in the university library (in a quiet zone) at one point the phone went off, and some younger students snickered. she got annoyed and gave them the rude finger, and then silly me I basically told her that she didn't like getting negative attention, she should get a less obnoxious ringtone...later outside I walked past her on my way to the bus. It was raining but as I passed her something sounding louder than a raindrop thunked on my umbrella ...closer inspection revealed she'd spat on it as I passed her. obnoxious ringtones are often a good indication of someone's personality.
