Thanks, I just hope my teacher thinks so too.

(I would have done something Firefly-related, but I already did two this semester, and I don't want my teacher to think I'm fixated or nuthin')

Good imagery Big 'C' - Tell me though - I feel like I'm jumping in the middle... What's this teacher semester business? Are you doing a course of somekind?

Hey Chris - Great work fella! I'm liking the idea that if you had a Firefly class ship, you'd take it to the beach!!

In ref to 2nd Work: Any chance you could get the flying sub to go whizzing in between Stone Henge ?

With this friggin' program, you can do just about anything. You can go in and fix individual pixels, for cripe's sake!

If I can't find a picture of the Flying Sub I like, I can draw it, scan it in, colour and texture and shade it until it looks like a photo...I will never trust photographic evidence ever again.

Woah Chris you have those skills already! Crickey - you're obviously enjoying your course. Good stuff.

In Ref to photo touch ups. You're right. My sister-in-law does just that for a living and you wouldn't believe how great she makes celebrities look in a magazine.

Nice work, Chris!! I actually think the "Firefly at the Beach" doesn't look off, looks to me like there is shadow where there isn't chop.

A teacher like that makes learning contagious... or gets frustrated when people don't "get it" when it is sooo obvious to him/her. Sounds like he/she is of the first group though.

Is this heading towards a career?

Yeah, I'm tired of doing what I can do well enough for work, I wanna do what I excel at, and learning to apply my art skillz to computer work seems the way in our brave new world, heh heh.

I found a website with hundreds of Dark Angel pics, I could do my version of the final story by manipulating the images to fit my script, then filtering them into line drawings- that way I coulg make a graphic novel easy! But not for money, it's (c) stuff, just for myself & maybe a few other DA fanz.
