So, random thread .. just to spread the joy. If you have something you need to share, just blurt it out.

If its good, then it'll make someone smile; if its bad, then its our (well, just mine for now, I suppose) duty to make you smile.

Have fun!!

Starting the Joy: I told my best friend I wanted to write a Castle fic earlier, but was having problems creating a murder scene. She's never even seen the show, but (bless her) she immediately created an alias complete with backstory and a scenario for a murderer. I didn't even have to ask. I love her, bless .. I even call her meimei (she refuses to watch Firefly coz I talk about it too much, but she understands the sentiment, and even calls me it back!!)

So, yeah .. uber good mood tbh

We talkin' Star Trek TOS? I still need to watch that. Bah. Curse my laziness. I'll get around to it one day.

To contribute to the happiness...I just watched new episodes of Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Castle and Chuck, in that order, all while eating delicious chocolate and drinking nice cold milk. All seems right with the world.

Castle and Chuck, particularly, were extremely good episodes, in my opinion.

I can't get enough of them, I let out a moan at the end of each episode as waiting a whole week for the next seems painful. Along with Dollhouse, How I Met Your Mother and Lost, they're the shows I just can't wait to see, every week.

Mad Men, Damages, Burn Notice, and Breaking Bad are why I get upgraded cable. Well, that and Formula One racing on Speed TV.

He just ordered a Trek game for his PS2 (Yeah, I know, PS2, but we haven't even discovered warp yet, we're a little primitive here).

PS2's rock .. and not quite primitive yet, Playstation One still holds that title in the PS world. My house is pretty old school on gaming systems .. we own: two PS2s, one PS1, a Sega Mastersystem 2, Gameboy Colour and an N64 .. we have some new systems too, but never forget the oldies. xD

RIPWASH

Just because it was a series of events of shortening her name, I sometimes call my daughter Mae-Mae. And now that I know the variation of that means "sister", I'm not sure what I'll call her now LOL. Actually, it derived from me calling her Ellie-Mae (from The Beverly Hillbillies) and I just made it Mae-mae for some reason. Heehee. So it will probably stick around no matter what.

Joy for the day? Hmmmmmm . . . . Can't think of anything in particular. Just the fact that my middle child is liking Firefly and my youngest (Mae-Mae who is 4) asked specifically to watch Firefly last night. Heehee!!!!

Sadness for the day is that I'm needing to lose weight and am lacking the will power to do so at this particular point in time.

Weight is just a random figure, it doesn't matter. As long as your relatively healthy it shouldn't matter .. but if it really does to you, then I'm sure you'll get there eventually.

My day was pretty crap tbh, had to visit old relatives who always insult me .. I don't even like them, but I did my duty. I'm sure I'll get a heavily compensated reward in heaven ..

SQUEE tho, because my Dad's Birthday present came today, as did mine (but I don't get it for two and a half weeks ..) PLUS my awesome ThinkGeek T-shirt. It says "I never finish anyth"
I love it beca

Ah yes . . . my first Doctor was Tom Baker. First (for me anyway) and BEST by far IMHO.

Then again, I think MOST Americans were introduced to the good Doctor during the Tom Baker years. I saw some of the earlier Doctors, was devastated when Peter Davidson took over from Tom Baker. He took a little getting used to. Colin Baker . . . meh. And then I stopped watching after that. I tried watching the new series, but just couldn't get into them like I had in the past.

Ah well . . . good times, good times.

See, I wasn't around for the first seasons, my first Doctor was Christopher Eccleston .. hers was actually Tennant. She's in love with him now .. was uber jealous when I saw him play Hamlet

But I love Shakespeare, I would've seen it no matter who was acting in it.

BYTEMITE

Despite meaning "little sister," I'm under the impression that mei-mei is a term of affection towards any younger girl, regardless of actual family relationship. So I think you can call a good friend mei-mei, your cousin, your aunt (if by some circumstance they're younger than you, it does happen), and even possibly your daughter.

Thats what I though, Bytemite. Similar to the word 'Ate' in Filipino (my best friend is from the Philippines, so I know these things) but Ate is in regards to anyone older than you. It shows respect, of a sort.

I found a shiny shiny picture on accident, one guess what it had to do with:

I looked up photobucket to get a clearer pic. Anyone know where I can find more of this style?
