A bit of Firefly reference in a video game?

America loves a winner!

So I'm playing a xBox Beta game ( Battlefield: Hardline ) which is a sort of GTA version of the otherwise military style, shoot'em up game series, Battlefield.

During the game, there's a running voice over narration going, where either good guys / bad guys offer up colorful comments relating to the game play. One of these remarks was something to the effect of 'shiny' upgrades. It happened so quick I wasn't really paying attention , until I heard ' shiny '. I had to laugh. It was so clear to me that it was being used in the Firefly like manner,as something neat and really good, and not just something highly reflective.

Hope I get to hear it again. Not sure i'll buy the game yet, but regardless, I hope they keep that line in.
