TheRealMe continues piloting the Napoleon Bonaparte, dodging the pursuing Alliance fighters. Gradually, they begin to force him down by flying above and to either side.

"Sparky!" TheRealMe calls. "Get in the copilot's seat and take over!"

"Yes, sir."

TheRealMe gets out of the pilot's seat and grabs the 8-ball off the top of the pile of stuff he bought. He creates a new dimensional portal and steps through. "See you later, Sparky! Keep them occupied as long as you can!"

MONTANAGIRL

*mg wakes up in the chocolate jacuzzi and realizes that she's all by herself. She shrugs, gets up and trudges back to her room to take a quick shower, wondering where everyone has gotten to. While in the shower, she reviews the ship's logs and comm transmissions.*

Holy dren! Everyone's either kidnapped or in peril around here!

*She quickly throws some clothes on and hurries through the common room to the infirmary, making a quick stop at the bar to make sure it's well stocked.*

Folks are going to need medical attention, or alcohol, or both when they get back here.

Seryn blinks. She pull at Serenity until the girl is lying comfortable again, checks pulses and feels the baby kicj abit until she's sure its ok. Looking around the room she realises they are back in the main room, over in the corner the naked guard stares at them in astonishment.

"Hey naked guy"

She sit for a few moment, the wings shrink and disappear, her hair turns dark again, she lifts her leg and examins her foot again. And decides that right here and now is the end of her tether.

"Thats it, I give up, nothing works, I try to do something it gets worse, I'm not doing anything else! I'm going to lie here, if they come for Serenity i'll kill them, but beyond that I DONT CARE.

I'm getting to old for this S***!"

She lies on the floor, staring at the skylight. After a while the naked guy begins to irritate her. She goes and unties his feet and throws his clothes at him.

Then she lies on the floor again. "god I could murder a cup of hot chocolate"

MCQ

(OOC: Trying not to be overly heroic here

)

McQ tries to scan the building with his infrared eye for structure and routes leading to the roof of the building. However, the walls being too thick for him to view through. As he was previously instructed, he looks for find a back door. Upon finding one, he reports back to the others using his comlink.

"I'm going in to check it out. If there's an amubush or something waiting on the other side, my metallic structure was designed to take more damage than the common soldier. I'll report my findings and let you know if it's clear inside."

McQ kicks the backdoor open and finds the place is deserted. He gets his blaster rifle ready just in case and finds a stairwell and makes his way up to the top floor. Knowing Serenity and Seryn are trapped on the roof under an unpenatratable metal dome, the cyborg wonders if he can blast through the roof so they can escape through it.

Since the roof, like the rest of the building, is too thick for his infrared to track through and not knowing exactly where Seryn and Serenity are located, McQ decides to try blasting the far corner of the ceiling. He aims and shoots a few rounds and waits for the smoke to clear when he finds the plaster had come loose, but there was a steel plating beneath it that was undamaged. He takes out is comlink and reports back.

"I'm on the top floor and thought I would be able to free Seryn and Serenity by shooting a hole in the ceiling but this place is encased in solid steel. It's going to take a lot more to get them out. I'm on my way back down." McQ clicks off his comlink and makes his way back to the stairwell.

CITIZEN

Citizen watched as the landing pad was enclosed in a metal dome.
"Right. I've had quite enough of this." He pulled a small metal box with a few dozen data cables dangeling from it from one of his many pockets and threw it too safe. "Electronic lock-pick. Should get through most of these doors." He said. "If that doesn't work try this." Citizen said as he passed a small tube of high explosive over. "Just try not to get it near any load baring walls or supports, know what I'm sayin'?"

Citizen holstered his rifle. "Now, anyone care for a bit of potholing?"

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
And as you know, these are open forums, you're able to come and listen to what I have to say.

SOULOFSERENITY

The Man They Call Soul...

"Aw, the hell with this."

Soul stands to his feet as McQ comes back arounds the corner.

"Hey McQ, do you think you could lift me up to the dome?"

The cyborg nods. "I don't know what good it would do, though. I've got the strongest weapons here and I can't even dent it."

Soul grimmaces. "Leave that to me."

The two of them go airborne, McQ's jetpack carrying both him and Soul upwards. They reach the roof.

"Okay, drop me," Soul says.

"What?"

"Just do it, please."

McQ drops him, and Soul phases through the dome, landing in a crouch on the concrete roof, his bow at the ready, and--

Nothing. The roof is empty. He stands slowly and looks around. To one side he can see a skylight, and what looks like broken glass littering the ground. He jogs over and looks down, and sees--

"Serenity!"

Not even bothering to jump through the gaping hole in the skylight, he phases again and falls through the ceiling. He lands next to Serenity and immediately scoops her up into his arms. She lets out a groan, and Soul lets a tear fall from his eyes.

"Okay, we're even," he says to her unconscious form. "You lost me once, I lost you once. Let's not do this any more."

He hears footsteps and sees Seryn walking over.

"It's about time!"

"Well, I'm here now, and we need to get out of here."

"Well, who gets to carry him?" Seryn asks, nodding towards the corner.

Soul turns to see Cozen lying there.

"How in the hell? Oh, never mind. Let's get out of here. I've got Serenity. Can you get the goof?"

Mumbling something under her breath, Seryn lifts Cozen up onto her shoulders, and the four of them head for the stairs.

SAFEAT2ND

OOC: Ok, I'm officially lost. Hopes this fits in... what's potholing?

"Grunt, take out those cameras." Safe says as he watches Soul and McQ take off. Grunt brings his rifle to his shoulder, exhales and fires. The first camera by the door explodes in a shower of sparks. The second swivels to find the source and Grunt takes it out too.

Safe grins at the other man, "I was just going to ask if you had any more surprises in that case of yours. Bear, McQ, follow me." He sprints towards the front door.

Safe takes out Citizens tube of explosive and spreads a thin bead around the edge of the door. The three the flatten themselves against the wall on either side of the door. the explosive ignites blowing the hinges off the door, but the heavy door remains in place, dented and burnt, but intact.

Bear steps out from the door, takes a few step back, and throws his shoulder into the door. It buckles but remains in place. McQ, steps up and he and Bear each grab a bent edge of the door and pull. It groans and finally rips free.

Safe peeks around the door frame. Inside is a flight of stairs leading up. At the top, a figure appears. Soul!

"That's some trick you have" Safe says holstering his gun.

"It comes in handy." Soul says. "I think we should get out of here quickly. Judging by the comm. traffic inside, company is comin'."

McQ, plucks the man from Seryn's shoulders. "Allow me."

She hands the goof over, then goes back to trying not to step on sharp stuff. On hearing Serenity mumble something, she perks up a bit,

"hey sweetie, nice to see you back in the land of the liv.... aaaand she gone again."

As they hit sunlight, she shields her eyes and looks hopefully around for a shuttle, or vehicle, or even a pushbike.

She wave vaguely at Safe and Citizen and the others,

"hey guys, nice to see you..."
