Not 'some unnamed sources', not ' some partisan blogger on the inter webs ' , but the bastion of hard core conservative ...

Describing them as “serious constitutional abuses,” a Circa report has revealed that previously top secret documents show that President Barack Obama spied on Americans for years.

The National Security Agency (NSA), according to the report, “routinely violated American privacy protections” and “failed to disclose the extent of the problems until the final days before Donald Trump was elected president.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) claim these newly disclosed violations rank as some of the most serious to ever be documented.

http://thepoliticalinsider.com/classified-documents-obama-spying-years/

All those alleged infringements the media screamed about George W Bush having done, could have , MIGHT have done... Obama actually did , and far worse.

That puts the total to about 15 things Obama SHOULD have been impeached over, but wasn't.

Oh, come on now - find a real source. Everybody knows ACLU is nothing but Right-Wing Extremists spouting anti-liberal hate speech, right?
You can't seriously believe anything those people say.

Back then? They're STILL sucking ! They're gonna lose a deep red district in GA and are going to give away a sure win in Montana after some deranged man child goes temper tantrum over a reporter asking him - QUESTIONS !! OMG !

And the best part ? Even if the GOP gets elected, the Dems STILL win, because - he's an IDIOT man child who bodyslammed a reporter, and now is part of the GOP Congress !!

Competent, intelligent, principled ... why is that so god damn hard to find in a country of 320 million people ???

You guys know I'm no fan of Obama. I think we need to stop blaming him directly for things like this though.

Yep.... you heard me right.

It's not as if he was a evil man twirling his mustache behind that desk and he single handedly decided to spy on Americans for years. Similarly, as bad as the Patriot Act was to our basic rights, it wasn't only GWB that made that come to pass.

That was the mistake I made years ago. Blaming so much stuff only on GWB. I was infuriated about things that were going on, and GWB was a convenient punching bag to let out that frustration on. What good did that do anybody? The Patriot Act lived on and was even expanded upon, the NSA broadened it's scope, wars continued and even new ones were started under the regime change. Things just got worse.

Now we've got a new president that I thought might possibly change some of that but I'm not very convinced that they will ever change.

What we see now, 2 presidents later, is one "side" blaming Obama for what he did and the other "side" blaming Trump for what he is doing now. Most people don't even bring up GWB anymore.

The Presidents, Past and Present, are just scapegoats for us to throw tomatoes at until our arms get tired. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Hate the game.

I don't know how to change any of this, but I do know that nothing is going to change if we let them constantly manipulate us into fighting each other instead of coming up with any solutions.

Yeah, I believed what I was seeing on the MSM. Fool me twice...

Fact remains, he was an idiot to lay hands on and body slam the reporter. That's just outright ridiculous, the day before the election, to snap like that and put into jeopardy all he and everyone worked so hard to achieve. Just pathetic.

But here's the flip side of the story. All the MSM are condemning him and trying to equate this to having something to do w/ Trump.

Where were all the concerned media when the DNC chair started chanting, in a public meeting " Fuck Donald Trump ! " , as he flips the middle finger ??

Where was the ' outrage' from the press when Maxine Waters openly stated " The TEA party can go straight to hell ! " ?

Sorry, but the lack of decency and decorum started with the Democrats, long ago. And when the media ignores some, and then amplifies the other, you're going to get an POLITICAL atmo like we have today.

Yes. I in part DO blame the media. They stopped being neutral observers and have been engaged in an open assault on the GOP and conservative Americans for some time now.

Yeah O. It's almost scary now how bad it has gotten. When I was in here years back arguing with people about what a bad president Bush was sometimes it got a little out of hand in here, but that was just online talk with a bunch of anonymous strangers.

I've got a bunch of people in my family today that aren't even talking to each other anymore after the election and all the fighting and nasty stuff they said to each other on Facebook and I know that probably most people today knows somebody who's done that.

And the weeks of rioting and burning stuff and people marching around saying vile crap when Trump was elected. I'd like to think that if Hillary were elected that it wouldn't have happened, but I don't even know anymore.

People are just getting really nasty, and I think the MSM today is stoking the fire at every opportunity.

(probably deserves its own thread, but hell, Obama was all about undermining the USA... )

Obama admin knew gang members were part of illegal immigrant surge: Whistleblower

The Obama administration knowingly let in at least 16 admitted MS-13 gang members who arrived at the U.S. as illegal immigrant teenagers in 2014, a top senator said Wednesday, citing internal documents that showed the teens were shipped to juvenile homes throughout the country.

Sen. Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, said a whistleblower turned over Customs and Border Protection documents from 2014 detailing the 16 people who were caught crossing the border.

“CBP apprehended them, knew they were MS-13 gang members, and they processed and disbursed them into our communities,” Mr. Johnson, Wisconsin Republican, said.
The gang members were part of the surge of UAC, or “unaccompanied alien children,” as the government labels them, who overwhelmed the Obama administration in 2014, leaving Homeland Security struggling to staunch the flow from Central America.

Officials at the time said the children should be treated as refugees fleeing horrific conditions back home — though security analysts said the children were prime recruiting territory for gangs already in the U.S.

I did read your post, and just re-read it.

The remainder of your post did not pertain to your misstatement, which I quoted. I was pointing out your false statement proclaiming Obama to be innocent or blameless, devoid of responsibility for his evil or his rampant criminal actions.

When your argument is based upon false statements as foundation, your entire assembly is a House of Cards which collapses at the first hard look. I did not quote the argument you made following your false statement.

I'm saying that you or Rap or Hannity or O'Reilly are being inauthentic and irresponsible when you say that "Obama did this". Just like T and G and Second and Wish or Maddow are being inauthentic and irresponsible when they say that "Trump did this".

The point was that it gets us nowhere to point the blame at one person who is essentially untouchable, and then bicker and cat-fight amongst each other.

Same stupid fucking pattern I've seen since GWB and things just get worse all the time because they're just going to keep doing these things while we're busy fighting each other.

Trump is a flim flam man, a bad con artist, a 2 bit penny ante salesman in a cheap suit. Are you seeing how demented he is? This guy needs handlers, dozens of them, just to keep him from taking his pants off in public. Thankfully, if all goes well, he will end up doing very little but work on his golf game. Fingers crossed that Fux News keeps bleeding reporters and they start to see a bigger audience wanting to hear about his mistakes. Thank the gods that there is so much public anger and outcry against him. Do you think all these people are being mad for fun??? I don't blame you really - if you don't read things you couldn't possibly know.

The problem is, you've got no credibility. You talked about Trump the same way back in November that you do today. And I don't just mean you personally, I mean everyone that is against him.

Never before in history did we see the crying, yelling, and rioting after a loss of a candidate as we did when Hillary lost. I say when Hillary lost, because I still think that deep down that is what is really bothering all of you still. It most definitely was when all of this started at around 2:30 AM on November 9th.

Since then, Trump hasn't gotten a single day off from the bashing and allegations from the MSM and what I assume is the loud and crazy minority on the left. Like I said in the other thread, a majority of American's really just don't care.

I'm still waiting for a link to the original report.

Not that I don't trust reporters - but, OK, I don't. It's never a good thing to take what they say on faith.

I didn't say the MSM was more decent back then. I said that people in general were more decent back then.

And seriously dude. Did you start taking debate lessons from T or something? Bringing up my drinking problem to "win" an argument I didn't even know we were having until now?

Go fuck yourself.

I didn't know it was a sore spot for you. I had the impression you had a more casual perspective on it.
Some people miss things - like facts - because they have their Libtards blinders on, or keep up their FACTS Vaccine Booster shots. Some because of what you were doing. I was merely pointing out a fact you may have overlooked, not trying to start a fight or argument.

My bad. I apologize. It's become the norm for one or two posters here to try to "win" arguments with me now by pulling the Drunk Card on me when they have nothing else. I admit that it has become something of a sore spot for me over time here because of that.

I know, that's been pulled on me a couple of times by certain posters here (and they know who they are). It does suck when someone pulls that lame shit, so I'm with you on this one Six. I think it's cheap and tawdry, and quite generally sucks elephant balls.

So, what I do is ignore it. It was the only, and best way for me to cope with it. Sometimes I let my anger get the best of me and I lash out at these "folks" - you know, give 'em a taste of their own medicine. But in the long run, it's not worth it. We all believe what we believe, and so we argue, fuss and fight to get our point across. But it seems some can't handle it, so they resort to insults. Then they ridicule you when you fire back. I see it as a form of bullying, it's all it is.

I'm being real here Jack. I'm not trying to snow you on this one. It's insulting and degrading, but little do they know that it's on them.

Okay, I'm stepping back with my "white flag" of truce.

I appreciate that SGG. I don't know exactly what happened with you that you were on the receiving end of this behavior and you don't' have to tell me what it was. Good for you for overcoming whatever it was and stay strong. Don't let the haters drag you down.

We've all got our demons. Unfortunately for some of us they made our presence known and others who have done a better job keeping theirs in the closet can use that against us. Personally, I think it serves to humanize us, particularly in the dehumanizing world that is The Internets.

I'll remember this, and I will try to keep my replies to you more cordial in the future because of it, no matter how much we obviously disagree on a lot of things.

My post had more brevity than I intended due to time restrictions.
I normally don't read much of the blather from T, because I find it a waste of time. Sometimes I see that you engage in discussion with him (quoting his nonsense posts) and I just detour. I have seen him mention your situation, but did not know the frequency of his referring, or if it had grown to harping. I was not aware that it had become a sore spot for you - a lot of those discussion progressions/exchanges I have not followed.

Apology accepted.

Remember the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee? Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.)He's the one who held the press conference on the White House lawn complaining about unmasking. We now know it was he who was doing it. Holly shit, you can't make this shit up. And what's more, some here are so sick they won't recognize they are far right and far left dupes that are led around by the nose by these guys.

This thread is a partisan hack job and nothing more. Unless of course with see the bellyachers attack the republicans like they have attacked Obama here.

Since Rappy started this thread, perhaps he should go first.

Nunes-led House Intelligence Committee asked for ‘unmaskings’ of Americans

The Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee asked U.S. spy agencies late last year to reveal the names of U.S. individuals or organizations contained in classified intelligence on Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election, engaging in the same practice that President Trump has accused the Obama administration of abusing, current and former officials said.

The chairman of the committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), has since cast the practice of “unmasking” U.S. individuals and organizations in classified reports as an abuse of surveillance powers by the outgoing Obama administration.

Officials familiar with the matter said that the committee’s requests focused on the identities of U.S. organizations that had been hacked by the Russians in 2016. Officials declined to say how many of the requests came from Democrats vs. Republicans.

A spokesman for Republicans on Nunes’s committee declined to comment on whether the panel made any requests for unmasking.

He added, “It is standard operating procedure for the House Intelligence Committee to forward all committee members’ questions from both parties to the appropriate agencies, whether or not they are answered. I refer you to committee Democrats for further questions on this subject.”

THUGGER, you have to learn to read more than the headline, because headlines almost always promise more than they deliver.
