You are without question the most dishonest person ever to post on this board. You really are just like Trump.

You say there "are people here" and then link back to threads from 2004. What people could you be talking about that are here?

You say you'll be breaking a trust or embarrassing them if you name them - more lies.

They are both plainly, observably full of sh*t, but my specific reference below was to Hannity. You honestly don't hear the strained incredulity from Hannity? You can hear him struggling and flubbing to get the lies out in something that sounds believable. He is a C rate actor.

1:09 "Even the Washington Post and the NY Times are just now confirming everything we have been saying for the last 18 months." Confirm 18 months of Fox BS? Really? Hard to see where the hyperbole stops. Of course that's what they want. More giant OMG sound bites, "It makes Watergate look like a parking ticket..."

5:10 "Now the main stream media, even they are starting to catch on and they have to agree with what we've been reporting, we've been proven right..." That the FBI thought Russia was trying to corrupt Trump's campaign so they had it under surveillance? If anything these Trump bozos are pointing too their own corruption and how it warranted FBI investigation. And then look at the headlines - was Fux saying there was FBI surveillance for the last 18 months that was being denied by MSM? They/MSM weren't forced to agree with anything Fux said. "And even look at this, Fake News CNN, even they can't ignore the facts..." right, because they just printed a factual story line that they corroborated? But since Fux can twist it (Trump and his slaves) then Hannity acts like it's some great victory that Fux can report the truth.

I doubt you will cop to any of this or how obvious it is - as always though, I do look forward to your awkward "spin."

Yep, hyperbole for sure. One thing I tell hubby ... words like "always" and "never" and "everything" usually have exceptions and shouldn't be used lightly.

Quote:

It might. If it was shown that the WH got the FBI, CIA, and NSA to spy on the Trump campaign for political reasons, that implicates a lot of the "intelligence community", not just the campaign end of one political party. Potentially a lot more significant since it involves the political corruption of established spying/ enforcement bureaucracies.

Sorry but I'm confused here. I don't know what the MSM is reporting, and I don't listen to Fox, so I can't really compare the two or respond to this part of your post. If the MSM is now admitting that Trump campaign really was being spied on, isn't that what Trump and altnews have been saying all along? Weren't Trump and altnews sources portrayed as paranoid lunatics, out of touch with reality, for making that claim ... which turned out to be true after all?

Bc, as I understand it, what the MSM is NOW admitting is "Well yes, he was being spied on. [admission] But it's a GOOD thing. [rationalization/ goalpost moving]"

A truckload uv cocain wuz parked in hiz driveway. So overloaded that a tire popped. He wuz inside the house conversing with the 3 narcotrafficos that were under survailens wen the ajents burst in to conclude the investigation. 5 larj steamer trunks uv cash were by the garaj door ready to be transfered.

But, sins he wuznt previously named az a target uv the investigation, the DEA coud not take him into custody or file any charjez. Also, the meth lab found in the hidden sub basement coud not be uzed az evidens sins the case wuz only about cocain.

That makes just az much sens az Trump's take on this story.

A man on his staff drunkenly said he knew where to find cocaine. So the DEA camped out around his house, and tapped his phones. One of the DEA officers offered second staffer a supply of cocaine, and then offered a third staffer a supply of cocaine; none of which was ever transferred. A fourth staffer had bought cigarettes in the past and paid no tax, and they arrested him to squeeze him for info. Cigarette smugglers in a faraway nation were indicted. At the same time, this head man's name was being constantly impugned in the press as being a drug smuggler AND a drug addict; and anyone who questioned the validity of the operation was branded as being "pro-drug".

There's a fine line between "aggressive investigation", "witch hunt", and "entrapment". I don't know exactly where the FBI/CIA/DOJ/Mueller investigation is on that spectrum, but it seems pretty close to the line to me.

Don't forget that the FBI's claim to fame - under Mueller- was publicly persecuting two innocent men for the anthrax letters. One of them sued the government, and won. The other committed suicide. Case closed, I guess!

Quote:

Mueller’s FBI honed in on Steven Hatfill as the culprit — a “flag-waving” American, who had served in the Army, then dedicated himself to protecting America from bioterrorist threats by working in the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.

There was no direct link from Hatfill to the attacks, by the FBI’s own admission, and the bureau never charged Hatfill. The FBI did however spy on, follow, and harass him non-stop for years. The Department of Justice also publicly outed Hatfill as the possible terrorist.

While Hatfill’s dignity and life was being trampled on by America’s secret police, Mueller took a stand. But on a different topic. He made front page news for threatening President Bush he would resign over NSA policy. All while his own team was trampling on the rights of an American in the FBI’s largest-ever investigation.

Hatfill successfully sued the government for its unlawful actions. He won almost $6 million dollars.

After the Hatfill investigation blew up in the FBI’s face, they moved on to Bruce Ivins, another Army researcher who had actually volunteered to help the FBI investigate this case, and had been doing so for years. It wasn’t until five years after the attack that Mueller’s men decided Ivins was a target.

The FBI case against Ivins, once again, was based on circumstantial evidence. ... Ivins was never indicted, just given the Hatfill treatment. His house was raided, and he was threatened with a death sentence, or as his lawyer put it, put under “relentless pressure of accusation and innuendo.” He committed suicide.

You an "build a case" against ANYone ... even YOU, JO! ... if you relentlessly look for "indications" and cherry-pick your data like crazy.

So, I caught the tail-end of an NPR interview with some dipshit Texas Congressional Democrat (Castro, I think it was) and he was claiming that Nunes was being "unreasonable" in demanding information from the FBI and DOJ, and that the only reason he was getting information was because Trump and Nunes were browbeating the agencies, and I'm thinking What, is this guy NUTS?.

The Senate and House OVERSIGHT committees were formed to prevent widespread abuses by the spook agencies that had been discovered in the 60s and 70s.

Quote:

The Committee was created by the Senate in 1976 to “oversee and make continuing studies of the intelligence activities and programs of the United States Government,” to “submit to the Senate appropriate proposals for legislation and report to the Senate concerning such intelligence activities and programs,” and to “provide vigilant legislative oversight over the intelligence activities of the United States to assure that such activities are in conformity with the Constitution and laws of the United States.”

https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/about

Quote:

The United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) is a committee of the United States House of Representatives, currently chaired by Congressman Devin Nunes (California). Created in 1977, HPSCI is charged with oversight of the United States Intelligence Community—which includes the intelligence and intelligence-related activities of the following seventeen elements of the U.S. Government—and the Military Intelligence Program.

https://intelligence.house.gov/about/history-and-jurisdiction.htm

How can you have "oversight" committees unless you KNOW WHAT THE INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES ARE DOING? And how can you know whether ABUSES are being committed unless you demand THE VERY INFORMATION THAT THE INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES WOULD TRY TO HIDE?

This Dem dimwit, he's gone off the rails with rabid partisanship.

Our intelligence agencies are SUPPOSED to be reviewed by a civilian authority - Congress, to be exact. And I have to say that Congress hasn't done a particularly stellar job ... after all, look at all of the abuses that Snowden (and others) revealed. But just because they've been far too lax in the oversight, and just because their relationship with the intelligence agencies is too meek and subservient doesn't mean that they should not be holding the agencies' feet to the fire. That's their job, and Castro should know that or he should resign from Congress.

Sheesh! Idiots abound!

Mueller Is Reportedly Examining An Israeli Firm’s Fake News Presentation

Special counsel Robert Mueller may be pulling on another thread in relation to foreign influence on Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
According to The Wall Street Journal, his team of investigators have obtained a nine-slide presentation created by the Israeli firm, Psy-Group, which claims to have links to Israeli intelligence agencies.

It is unclear, according to the Journal’s reporting, who received the presentation and whether it is based on analysis of specific activity during the campaign or more of a hypothetical pitch. Mueller is also reportedly examining Psy-Group’s founder Joel Zamel, who is believed to have attended a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower in the weeks prior to election day.

Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating the Trump-Russia case, helped nail New York mob boss John Gotti, the gangster known as the “Teflon Don.”

One of the most important things to understand about Donald Trump, the con man and hustler who happens to be president, is that he comes from the mob-tinged New York real estate industry and knows exactly what happened to Gotti and other mob bosses felled by racketeering prosecutions waged by the likes of Mueller.

Trump knows that Mueller is now conducting the same kind of racketeering investigation in the Trump-Russia case, and it frightens him.

Mueller is approaching his Trump-Russia investigation in the same way he and his fellow Justice Department prosecutors went after Gotti and other mobsters. He is rolling up Trump loyalists. He is slowly but surely climbing the ladder from low-level operatives to more prominent figures, and holding the threat of prison over their heads to get them to flip and talk about people higher up the ladder. Eventually, Mueller’s racketeering case will make its way to Trump.

Whenever Mueller seems to be making progress, Trump tries to distract. That is why a desperate Trump has been turning to crazed loyalists like Rudy Giuliani to go on cable news and spout incoherent attacks on the Mueller investigation. And it explains why Trump and his minions are now trying to focus the public’s attention on the FBI’s use of an informant to falsely claim that Trump was illegally spied on by the purported “deep state” during the 2016 campaign. To be sure, there is plenty of ugly history behind the FBI’s use of informants. In the 1960s, the FBI infiltrated the anti-war movement and other political organizations; more recently, it has used informants to entrap people in ginned-up terrorism cases.

But there is no evidence that the FBI engaged in any of those abusive tactics in the Trump-Russia investigation. Trump simply wants to depict himself as the victim of partisan intelligence operatives so that he can discredit and distract from Mueller’s actual investigation. It is the same kind of ploy he tried last year, when he claimed that he had been wiretapped.

In fact, the stunning number of very public actions taken by Trump to distract from or impede the Russia inquiry – a number that grows almost daily — suggests that he has been desperate to make the investigation go away from the moment it began.

I believe that it is obvious – and has been for more than a year – that Trump is doing everything he can to obstruct any investigation into evidence of collusion between his campaign and Russia in the 2016 presidential election. If that means discrediting the FBI, the Justice Department, and other government agencies, Trump will do it. He is quite willing to destroy crucial governmental checks and balances to impede the investigation.

Lawyers Admit Trump “Dictated” Response to Trump Tower Meeting Despite Denials

When the New York Times first revealed the bombshell 20-page memo President Donald Trump’s legal team sent to Special Counsel Robert Mueller earlier this year, attention immediately focused on the broad assertions of presidential power. In the letter, the lawyers essentially argued that the president can’t by definition obstruct justice, a novel and broad interpretation of presidential powers. A closer reading of the memo though also revealed that the president’s attorneys admit that Trump “dictated” the first misleading statement about the now-infamous Trump Tower meeting with Russians. That comes after repeated denials that Trump was involved in crafting the statement, including in congressional testimony by Donald Trump Jr.

Trump Sure Seems to Like Russia a Lot, Doesn’t He?

Over the course of 16+ months, President Trump has acted consistently and with some success to destabilize and break up the western alliance — both its formal manifestation in NATO but also its less formal dimensions in trade and other partnerships. He has also worked consistently on really every front to advance the interests of Russia.

Less obviously to many Americans, he’s been doing something similar in East Asia. The U.S. alliance with Japan and South Korea…is not simply to protect against North Korea. It is to build a series of security relationships with countries on that periphery to act as a counterweight to the regional (perhaps world) great power, China.

….The last twenty four hours of attacks on our closest allies capped by President Trump’s seemingly out of the blue demand to bring Russia back into the G-7 (making it again the G-8 which it was for most of the post-Cold War era until Russia was expelled over the annexation of Crimea) simply brings the matter into a newly sharp relief. If candidate Trump and President Putin had made a corrupt bargain which obligated President Trump to destabilize all U.S. security and trade alliances (especially NATO, which has been Russia’s primary strategic goal for 70 years) and advance the strategic interests of Russia, there’s really nothing more remotely realistic he could have done to accomplish that than what he has in fact done.

Take a moment to let that sink in. I need to take a moment to let it sink in. It’s shocking to me. It’s shocking to me what’s happening….We have a President who clearly got a great deal of assistance from Russia in getting elected….He’s doing all the stuff he’d have been asked to do if such a corrupt bargain had been made. At a certain point — and I’d say we’re clearly at or past that point — it really doesn’t matter whether we can prove such a bargain was made. I’m not even sure it matters whether it was explicit or even happened. The bank robber helped the teller get the job and now the teller just won’t seem to lock the safe or even turn on the alarm. We can debate forever whether the teller is just absent-minded or has some odd philosophical aversion toward locks. The debate may be unresolvable. It truly doesn’t matter.

It’s of course not illegal for a candidate for office to espouse pro-Russian foreign policy views. But to an extent, there was plenty of “collusion” in plain view throughout 2016 — crimes were committed and Trump openly praised them; he offered pro-Russia policy in exchange for Russian assistance, received the assistance that he sought, and has labored ever since to avoid investigating or punishing Russia’s crimes.

And here, ultimately, is where Paul Ryan’s argument completely falls apart. The speaker says “there’s no evidence of collusion” but also isn’t willing to go full Trump, denounce the investigation as a fraud, and call for its end. Instead, he says, “this is about Russia and what they did and making sure they don’t do it again.” But Trump has always been clear that he doesn’t think Russia did anything wrong, doesn’t want the full details to become known, doesn’t want anyone punished, and has no particular interest in making sure they don’t do it again. And that, itself, is perhaps the most powerful evidence of collusion.

U.S. hits five Russian firms with sanctions, citing cyberattacks
"The United States is engaged in an ongoing effort to counter malicious actors working at the behest of the Russian Federation."

The Treasury Department said it was imposing sanctions on five Russian firms and three of their executives under legislation passed last year and an executive order aimed at punishing efforts to hack into U.S. computer systems. The sanctions freeze any assets that those targeted may have in U.S. jurisdictions and bar Americans from doing business with them.

You did not specify which government. Canada you can trust. There is plenty of evidence of untrustworthiness about 1kiki and Trump. Both of them post constantly. All of it is evidence.

A quisling serves the interests of foreign masters at his/her own country’s expense. Any reasonable doubts about that reality were put to rest by the events of the past few days, when Trump defended Russia while attacking our closest allies and 1kiki defended Trump.

We don’t know Trump’s motivation or 1kiki's. Is it blackmail? Bribery? Or just a generalized sympathy for autocrats and hatred for democracy? And we may never find out: If he shuts down the Mueller investigation and Republicans retain control of Congress, the cover-up may hold indefinitely. But his actions tell the story.

This isn’t about Trump. It is, instead, about the people and 1kiki who are enabling his betrayal of America: the inner circle of officials and media personalities who are willing to back him up whatever he says or does, and the wider set of politicians — basically the entire Republican delegation in Congress — who have the power and constitutional obligation to stop what he’s doing, but won’t lift a finger in America’s defense.

It’s important to understand that the fight Trump is picking with our allies isn’t about any real conflict of interest — because they are not, in fact, doing the things he accuses them of doing. No, Canada and Europe aren’t imposing “massive tariffs” on U.S. goods: A vast majority of U.S. exports enter Canada tariff-free, and the average European tariff is only 3 percent. These are simple facts, not disputable issues.

So Trump is justifying his attempt to destroy the Western alliance by accusing our allies of misdeeds that exist only in his imagination.

The same thing may be said about his claim that Canada’s Justin Trudeau somehow betrayed him and undermined the Group of 7 summit meeting. In reality, Trudeau’s remarks at the end of the conference were restrained and conventional, simply asserting — as any normal leader would — that he would defend his nation’s interests. The Trump rage-tweet that followed was responding to an insult that, like those “massive tariffs,” exists only in his imagination.

But that’s Trump, a man whose presidency has been marked by around seven false statements per day in office. Same is true of 1kiki. But what about his officials?

Well, they have been acting like the courtiers in the old story about the emperor’s new clothes. (The emperor’s new hairpiece?) If the boss says something whose falsity is obvious to anyone with eyes to see, they’ll claim to believe his version.

So Larry Kudlow, the administration’s chief economist (actually “economist,” but that’s another story) went on TV to declare that Trudeau “stabbed us in the back.” Peter Navarro, the administration’s chief trade expert (“expert”) went even further, repeating the stab-in-the-back line and declaring that Trudeau faces a “special place in hell.”

Remember when people used to imagine that Trump would be restrained by officials who would put some check on his worst impulses? Maybe that happened for a few months, but at this point he’s entirely surrounded by sycophants and 1kiki who will tell him whatever he wants to hear.

6ix, you told us that you voted for that ignoramus and quisling, Donald Trump. Your thinking is not very robust. Trump was lying his head off at the G7 meeting in Canada. The Canadians corrected him. Then Trump threw a shit fit on twitter. Now the Canadian Parliament is wishing for Trump to have a raging stroke and die. Good work, Parliament!

It is delicious when people notice Trump is a quisling for Putin :

It sure seems like a lot of things are converging that might encourage all sides to take a deep breath and reconsider the wisdom of being pawns in Vladimir Putin’s anti-West chess game:

The recent G7 meeting put a very definitive cherry on top of Donald Trump’s campaign to wreck Europe. This has been building for months, of course, but after Trump’s performance this weekend there could be a real belief by G7 that this is a time to present a united front against Trump’s version of the US.

Turbulence in or breakdown of the EU is a key Russian strategic goal. Russian diplomats courted key Brexit leaders (Banks, Farage, et al.) and apparently offered opportunities to get huge sums of money….In other words, the relationship between Russia and the Brexit campaign now looks very much like what President Trump’s accusers believe happened simultaneously in the United States.

….Once the Leave forces won the referendum, Banks, Wigmore and Farage turned attention to campaigning for Trump. They traveled as a group to Mississippi in August 2016 where Farage, fresh off his Brexit triumph, campaigned with Trump in Jackson, Mississippi on August 24th. This was just six days after one of Banks’ meetings with Yakovenko. The trio was were also at the GOP convention a month earlier. They also shared digital media firm Cambridge Analytica. Later it emerged that Farage had an on-going back-channel to Julian Assange.

Mueller dropped a hint that he's nowhere near finished charging people in the Russia probe

The special counsel Robert Mueller's office on Tuesday filed a motion to scale back evidence sharing in its case against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities charged in the Russia investigation.
Mueller cited the risk of revealing the identities of "uncharged co-conspirators" to Russian intelligence.

The motion confirms that Mueller's February indictment against the Russians was far from an exhaustive list of those suspected of involvement in influence operations in the US.

So much for the US 'justice' system and the ability to confront the evidence against you!

Assuming of course there is any evidence, and Mueller isn't just hiding an empty hole.

I think you should read these indictments - the genuine originals - rather than continue to steep your brain in US media swill. https://www.justice.gov/sco

You'll find that in regards to the non-Russian nationals like Manafort, zero charges have anything to do with Trump or the election.

And when it comes to the Russian nationals, some of them put a YUGE kink in the process by showing up in court and demanding to see the evidence against them. Which the Mueller team is fighting. I have to say, it makes Mueller look very suspicious. Does he have evidence, or not?

I'm all for corrupt people being taken down and locked up, regardless of what side they're on.

That's Mueller & Co. not tipping their hand. They put pressure on Manafort, etc by applying pressure around the edges for things that are already known to the public or easily found out (tax evasion, etc) - low level stuff. When you bring charges higher up you do better if you have someone like Manafort who confirms them. Make no mistake: Mueller is a pro.

They didn't show up in court, their lawyers did, and they made a nuisance of themselves. They asked for all details dating back like 40 years (?). Their demands were easily dismissed.

There is nothing true about your claim.

Originally, Mueller asked for a delay when the accused asked to see the evidence. Mueller's request was denied.

The defendant also asked to see the Grand Jury instructions, which was dismissed.
https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/15/politics/concord-ruling-special-counsel
-russian-company/index.html

When it comes to the defendant's request to see the evidence, which is a constitutional right, that request was NOT dismissed. Instead, the judge ordered to two parties to settle the dispute. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-06-15/-putin-s-chef-judge
-scolds-lawyers-over-evidence-access-fight

"Wait, what?!? Aren't you one of the ones who keep parroting "there is no evidence!" Opps!"

OPPS? Like operations? Opportunities? There is still no publicly available evidence. If the defendant's request is honored at least in part as is Constitutionally required, we may finally get to see something. But I think Mueller doesn't have any, and he'll produce another stall tactic/ excuse.

Funny how dumb and dishonest kiki and others are. For instance and for the umpteenth time, nobody gives a shit about collusion. There is no crime in itself with colluding. It's just a term Trump likes to keep using because the actual crime would be if his campaign conspired with the Russians. He uses the term collusion to deflect away from that. Just as kiki and others do here.

Its a conspiracy Mueller is looking for. A conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia because that would be a crime. Guess what....

Richard W. Gates III is an American former political consultant and lobbyist who has pleaded guilty to conspiracy against the United States and making false statements. And this guy was at the top of Trumps campaign. The very top.

Yup. Gowdy's investigation took 2 1/2 years. $7.8 million. Nothing.

Ken Starr's took 4 years, $40 million. A blowjob.

Mueller's put a year in. $17 million. 17 indictments, 5 guilty pleas, people getting jail time.

Looks like we're getting more for our money this time.
