You might need to re-think that analogy of the Trump Wall as a Dike with Trump as the fat Dutch boy cramming his body into the leaking hole. The "water" has already gotten past Trump. Yep genius, diseases sometimes work that way!

Because BEFORE you becomes symptomatic there is the incubation period ... which can be YEARS for some viruses (HIV) but is about 3-10 days for most common viruses ... and the "prodrome" where you feel unwell but without specific symptoms, which can be another day. The boy didn't "get sick" after he crossed the border, he "got sick" BEFORE he crossed the border. He just didn't become symptomatic until he was in custody.

God, you're an idiot. People die all the time under coyote's "care" when crossing the border, but you want to pretend this is some sort of genius timing on their part, or that of the dad's? THEY ROLL THE DICE, SON. This just happened to be one of those times when the kid became symptomatic right after crossing.

But if you really want to look at the "now" (instead of just finding ridiculous excuses to continue your whipped-up rage) ... LOOK at that event. Look at ALL of the event. Don't just pick the parts you want to get exercised about!

From what I gather, the family spoke an indigenous language, which probably nobody in ICE understood. That probably explains why the boy's illness was noticed BY AN ICE STAFFER ... possibly the father was trying to communicate his concern but nobody knew what he was saying*. The boy and his father were taken to hospital WHILE THEY WERE IN CUSTODY. He was released with medication, and taken BACK to hospital when he got sicker. Was there a deficiency in the medical care? It doesn't sound like it to me. But we would need to know the cause of death, and we don't know WHAT the boy died of.

What happened to you? You used to be sane. Now you don't even make any sense any more.
