My world isn't crashing down, son. Here in SoCal, the weather is good and I have a great family.

I'm trying to wake you up. I thought shouting might help. Some day, maybe you'll notice that your castle of wishful thoughts is crumbling down.

Will that be when Russia takes Ukraine? When your fuel and food prices skyrocket? When your living standard crumbles? When Dems are swept from office? When the USD implodes?

Hard to say. Maybe you'll never wake up and smell the coffee. It's hard to believe anyone so stupid is so insulated from reality. You must be somebody's beloved dysfunctional relative, getting $$$ from someone, bc ppl as bonehead and gullible as you are usually homeless.

CAPNCRUNCH: Man, that is gawd awful writing, SIG, "bc ppl as bonehead and gullible as you are usually homeless." CW is hiring.

CAPNCRUNCH: SIG reveals her wish List:
"Will that be when Russia takes Ukraine? When your fuel and food prices skyrocket? When your living standard crumbles? When Dems are swept from office? When the USD implodes?"

CAPNCRUNCH reveals his lies

Those are my FEARS. I've been trying to point out the cliff we seem to be barreling towards. We need to do better to secure our future.

Quote:

CAPNCRUNCH: Wait a second....You never answered whether you were for Putin's invasion of Ukraine or against it!
You asked?

What's your take? Are you pro redraw the maps thing? Map outlines are so important, right?
I'm distressed that it came to this. I am against changing governments and redrawing borders by force, which is why I was against our destruction of Yugoslavia, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama and the toppling if the governments in Chile, Brazil, Nicaragua, Ukraine etc and the attempted destruction of the governments in Syria, Belarus, Khazakstan, etc

It didn't have to come to this. There was a signed agreement that spelled out how to resolve the rupture in Ukraine. If the EU and USA had pushed the Ukrainian govt to implement the Minsk Agreement, instead of sabotage it, we wouldn't be where we are today.

But clearly the west's neocons were intent on provoking a war.

In only 116 words, Signym, most of those words about the USA, you've proved to have no understanding of the Minsk Agreement.

Ukraine-Russia crisis: What is the Minsk agreement?

Why has the 2015 agreement failed to end fighting in eastern Ukraine? A major blockage has been Russia’s insistence that it is not a party to the conflict and therefore is not bound by its terms.

Good.

You scared little idiot.

Only a fool would conclude I am fearful from what I wrote, 6ix. 6ix, here is an example of your foolish fears: you didn't get vaccinated because you feared eventual side effects from the vaccine. You called people who are vaccinated mudbloods. I am not sure what that Harry Potter reference to mudbloods means to you, but I am pretty sure it means fear vaccines.

Your vaccine fears are all in your head, 6ix. On the other hand, you made it clear being nuked is all in the head, not in reality. You also made it clear that the dangers of smoking are imaginary because you have not stopped smoking. 6ix, you have made it clear over years that you are confused about real dangers and imaginary dangers. You can't tell which is which.

Sooooo.... it's the US and the EU's fault that Putin is invading and killing Ukrainians? So NOT Putin's fault? He had no choice?

You remind me of the Russian ambassador to Ireland:

In only 20 words, you lied... again

Russia is NOT party to the conflict. According to the Minsk Agreement, Russia signed it as a guarantor... a supervisor, if you will.

These are the stepwise provisions

Quote:

Representatives of Russia, Ukraine, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the leaders of separatist-held regions Donetsk and Luhansk signed a 13-point agreement in February 2015.

The leaders of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine gathered in Minsk to mark the occasion and issued a declaration of support.

The deal’s 13 points were:

Immediate, comprehensive ceasefire.

Withdrawal of heavy weapons by both sides.

OSCE monitoring.

Dialogue on interim self-government for Donetsk and Luhansk, in accordance with Ukrainian law, and acknowledgement of special status by parliament.

Pardon, amnesty for fighters.

Exchange of hostages, prisoners.

Humanitarian assistance.

Resumption of socioeconomic ties, including pensions.

Ukraine to restore control of state border.

Withdrawal of foreign armed formations, military equipment, mercenaries.

Constitutional reform in Ukraine including decentralisation, with specific mention of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Elections in Donetsk and Luhansk.

Intensify Trilateral Contact Group’s work including representatives of Russia, Ukraine and OSCE.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/2/9/what-is-the-minsk-agreement-an
d-why-is-it-relevant-now

What is RUSSIA supposed to do, according to this agreement?
Oh, NOTHING, you say?

Ukraine flat-out refused to talk directly with representatives of DPR/LPR.
Constitutional reform was also out of the question. In fact, that whole cease-fire thing never happened.

Failure to implement rests directly with Ukraine.

Next time, stick to the truth. It's safer that way.

It's crazy when both sides of the media lie the same lies about something like this.

It's almost as if you get the exact same news whether you're watching CNN or FOX News right now.

This is not the "unification" Biden promised and failed to deliver.

This is something to worry about.

Two guys in a basement. Really Signym, really? Finding something or someone who agrees with you on the internet is as easy as breathing. 98% of the world’s leaders are all saying the same thing comrade. That what Putin is doing is criminal. Your attempt to reshape facts, or post incongruities are less than meaningless.

Putin believes in ruling through power and not in the rule of law. That is what has been closing in on him even more so than NATO. He and his oligarchs run Russia like a crime syndicate. Again, 98% of the world’s leaders have declared this to be true. The Ukraine was fast becoming a safer bet for investors than Russia. That was a problem. I see it in the news that Putins’ oligarchs steel as much as 85% of Russia’s GDP. “A 2017 study of Russian oligarchs published by the U.S.-based National Economic Bureau estimated that as much as $800 billion is held by wealthy Russians in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Cyprus, and similar offshore banking centers. That vast fortune, held by a few hundred ultra-rich individuals, is roughly equal to the wealth of the entire rest of the Russian population of 144 million people.” You must hate the Russian people yourself if you condone this.

Putin wants no part of working towards a better union with the world’s population. Helping society to become all that it can be. To defend Putins’ Russia is to sign onto his philosophy yourself. Why do you hate so much? Why would you wish this on the Russian people comrade? Why don’t you go back to Russia? According to you it’s wonderful there.

You’re a lower life form. Where's the other lower life form kiki? Her very absence shows she too must think Putin is an animal. Her very absence shows she has changed her mind about Putins' Russia. If not, she'd be here posting in Putins' defense as she always has. You've been abandoned comrade.

Ukrainian veterans in Poland are heading back to join the fight, calling Russians 'thieves and bandits'

Ukrainian veterans in Poland are heading back into their country to take the fight to Russia.
Ivan, 53, who received military training in the Soviet-era, called Russians "bandits and thieves."
He was joined by Viktor, 35, who fought in the war in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and 2015.

HREBENNE, POLAND — For two men heading into a war-zone, Viktor and Ivan seemed remarkably calm as they waited in a line of cars to cross the border from Poland into Ukraine. There was a look of fearlessness and determination in their eyes.

Isn't that right Signym? You were talking about an army that can fight. Not a bunch of pussies, right? Because the Russian army in Ukraine certainly can't fight. Well, against women, children and building yes. But not anyone who can fight back. I do have to admit though, the Russians are the best at fighting buildings and children I've ever seen.

Ex-Black Ops Agent: This Is How Putin Could Meet His End

The former DSGE black-operations planner says any hit on Putin most likely will have someone in his inner circle, or a phantom just outside the perimeter, as the trigger man. “It will be an expensive job, a fortune,” he says. “In my experience, I’d wager an asset is already in place. Four Russian Generals Killed in Three Weeks Show Moscow’s Vulnerabilities in Ukraine

Russia’s fighting style and troubled communications are leading to deaths of high-ranking officers on the front lines

Four Russian brigadier generals have died in three weeks on the battlefield in Ukraine, Kyiv officials said, showing faults in Moscow’s ability to lead troops into battle. The fallout could shape the outcome of the war, according to Ukrainian and Western officials.

The deaths of Gen. Vitaly Gerasimov, Gen. Andrei Kolesnikov, Gen. Oleg Mityaev and Gen. Andrei Sukhovetsky were announced by Ukrainian officials and confirmed by some Russian media reports, but not the Kremlin. They were veterans of Russia’s earlier conflicts in Georgia, Ukraine and Syria, where Russia also lost generals.

Grisly photos and celebratory social-media posts allow Kyiv to show some success against a larger and well-funded military.

The Russian military’s fighting style appears to have contributed to the losses, analysts say. Other factors include subpar radio communications and intense fighting, including ambushes by Ukrainian forces near cities. Replacing them with officers with similar experience could prove difficult.

“Their level of small-unit leadership, as they themselves recognize, is not great, which is why you see general officers much more forward in the field” in the Russian army, said Col. John “Buss” Barranco, a U.S. Marine Corps fellow at the Atlantic Council, a Washington think tank.

“They are overly dependent on senior people micromanaging from the front because they don’t have the same noncommissioned officer corps to exercise initiative,” he said.

Told you so Signym. And this is why China will never be able to take on an army that can fight from top to bottom. By the time a decision is made at the top the battle will be over.

As many as 7,000 of your Russian troop's may be dead sig. And this is a conservative estimate. I listened to an American general say if 7,000 are dead then as many as 25,000 are seriously wounded.

Hey comrade Signym, I told you so.

Signym, so it appears you're burning your dead on the battlefield so no one finds out how badly you're doing, tragic.

I told you so comrade. I've been telling you so for years.

There's even less of a chance of dead soldiers in Ukraine or Russia than there were people who supposedly died of Covid.

Fake news is fake. Get a fucking life, Ted.

Me: "Remember Covid?"

Useless Idiots: "What's Covid, durr? Russia, Ukraine, Putin, NATO *drool*. DURRRR!!!!"

Ukraine retakes 75 miles of Russian-held territory, pushes toward Kherson

For weeks, Mykolaiv was on the front line. Russian tanks and infantry made incursions into the streets of the southern Ukrainian port city. Russian artillery blasted civilian neighborhoods. Now, with Ukrainian forces pressing a counteroffensive, the Russians have been pushed back and Mykolaiv’s 470,000 people are attempting a tentative return to normality.

Coffee shops and some restaurants are open again. Supermarkets have been restocked with fresh groceries. Bank branches have reopened. Municipal buses and trams run the streets. Mothers with children play in playgrounds as the sound of artillery thuds in the distance. Fresh tulips and roses are available in a variety of shades in a row of downtown flower shops.

“It’s not that we are no longer afraid, but we are getting used to this. We have to survive. Nobody wants to leave the city anymore,” said Yulia Fistik, 23, who works alongside her mother in one of the flower shops. “Business is good. There are lots of soldiers in town, and they all buy flowers.”

Svitlana Herashchenko, who owns a grocery store on the southern edge of Mykolaiv, where the front line used to be, said she thoroughly enjoyed her first night without air-raid sirens and shelling after three weeks of constant attacks.

“It was so fantastic, such a feeling,” she said, basking in the sun outside her grocery. “We want so much to return to normal life, when they don’t shoot, when they don’t shell.”

A regional capital and a strategic eastern gateway to Odessa, the country’s main port, Mykolaiv came under sustained attack in the first week of the war as Russian forces pushed north from Crimea and seized the city of Kherson 40 miles away. Dogged resistance from the Ukrainian army and local territorial defense forces prevented Mykolaiv from being overrun, as successful ambushes destroyed Russian columns before reinforcements arrived.

Then, in the past several days, Ukrainian forces launched a counteroffensive toward Kherson, breaking through Russian lines and going past the boundary between the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. A Ukrainian strike on the Russian-controlled Kherson airport destroyed at least 13 Russian combat helicopters and a large number of military vehicles, according to satellite imagery and video footage.

The battles around Mykolaiv have been bloody, with heavy casualties on both sides. Every day, military ambulances and civilian vans marked “200”—the Soviet-era code name for killed in action—bring the mangled remains of Ukrainian soldiers to the regional morgue in Mykolaiv. The influx of Ukrainian fatalities has slowed somewhat now that some Russian units are on the run, and that the city no longer experiences constant shelling, said morgue attendant Volodymyr Afanasiev.

“Our city is still standing thanks to our guys on the front lines out there,” Mr. Afanasiev said. “Now, we can go to a shop that’s full of goods or buy a cup of tea. We are free to walk the streets. All of this because our guys have managed to shove the Russians away.”

The village of Prybuzke, also on the border of the Kherson region, was ravaged by the fighting, residents say. “It’s horror. There are no streets in Prybuzke anymore. Nothing is left. Cows wander the fields, some of them lie in the fields blown into pieces, homes are wrecked,” said Svitlana Storozhuk, who left the village Thursday morning and was waiting for a bus on the southern edge of Mykolaiv later that day.

“The village is just gone,” added Volodymyr Burlaka, who works in a home-improvements store that has a branch in south Mykolaiv and another in Prybuzke, a few miles away. He said he feared Mykolaiv’s relative new calm won’t last long.

Ukrainian officials involved in organizing the defense of Mykolaiv said the city’s fierce resistance had surprised the invaders.

“The Russians expected they would breeze into town, that everyone would welcome them, and that nobody would try to stop them. It didn’t turn out that way,” said Mykolaiv Gov. Vitaliy Kim, who now sometimes drives around town in a captured Russian Tigr armored vehicle, a trophy repainted with a blue-and-yellow Ukrainian flag.

Mykolaiv remains within range of some Russian artillery, especially of the Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems that can hit targets from 70 kilometers away, cautioned Mr. Kim. But, for now, the Russians have other priorities.

“It’s quiet in Mykolaiv because they are too busy defending their own positions, shooting at our forces that are attacking them instead of shooting at the city,” Mr. Kim said. “We have pushed them away from the city and keep moving ahead.”

In recent days, Ukrainian officials regained access to previously Russian-controlled villages such as Luch, Shevchenkove and Ukrainka southeast of Mykolaiv, delivering food and evacuating civilians. Still, the liberated areas remain dangerous, Mr. Kim said.

“Some of the Russian infantry vehicles and tanks are just lost, wandering around. They don’t have communications, they don’t know where they are,” Mr. Kim said. “Sometimes they appear in our rear and start firing at any civilian car they see because they are afraid someone will jump out of that car with a rocket-propelled grenade and blast them.”
