Abrams tank firing DU round: the depleted uranium begins burning when fired, producing a mist of poisonous uranium oxides. If an Abrams tank is fired on it will also create radioactive aerosols because the armour contains DU as well. Depleted uranium (DU) is the heavy metal which remains after the more radioactive, bomb-making uranium (isotope U235) has been extracted. This remaining metal is largely composed of U238, which is less dangerous than U235, but which is still radioactive (carcinogenic) and poisonous. In the case of US-sourced DU, which appears to be reprocessed reactor waste, it may also contain more radioactive elements such as plutonium. DU is a very dense, very heavy metal, and it is this property which has interested the military. Munitions (bombs and shells) made of DU fly further and faster than projectiles made of less dense metals such as lead. They therefore strike the target with more force, and penetrate armour more readily. On impact, the DU projectile liquefies, and the molten stream tunnels through the armour, emerging as a blast of hot metal; fine particles and vapour. This, of course, results in the immediate death of those behind the pierced armour, but the fine particles and vapour remain as a permanent threat to any who later come near.

DU kinetic energy penetrator ass end on fire

Uranium is one of the heaviest elements found in nature and is emits alpha, beta, and gamma particles. It is 1.7 times denser than lead.12 The half-life of U238 (DU is 99% U238) is 4.5 billion years!13 Uranium byproducts(such as Thorium (Th232)) have even longer half-lives, making uranium an element that gets more radioactive during its own decay process.5 Natural uranium is 99.274% U238, 0.720% U235, and 0.0055% U234.14a Uranium is enriched when its contents of U235 reaches 3.2-3.6% (since U235 is fissible). Weapon-grade uranium is +90% U235.14a What is depleted uranium? We start out with natural uranium and extract enriched uranium for nuclear fuel and weaponry. The leftover from the extraction process is something very similar to natural uranium, known as “depleted uranium”. The only difference is that DU has 0.202% of U235 and 0.0008% of U234.14a How much DU do we currently have? As of June 1998, we have around 57,800 huge steel cylinders of DU or 496,000 metric tons. 14b Storage of DU is very complicated and problematic since corrosion of DU storage cylinders often occurs over relatively short periods of time.15 Depleted uranium is stored as Uranium Flouride (UF6) in giant cylinders. When the projectile cuts through the armor, the DU penetrator and parts of the tank get so hot that it literally vaporizes. Anywhere from 18-70% of the DU usually oxidizes (depending on type of impact).14c For example, direct impact yields 99% oxidization. A Uranium oxide (which consists of insoluble UO2 and soluble UO3) aerosol forms, where 50-96% of the particles are less than 10 microns and hence can be inhaled easily.2 DU is extremely toxic and still contains much of the radiation that natural uranium has. For example, US Army field manuals indicate that those who handle DU contaminated vehicles or DU injured individuals must wear gas masks and protective radiological suits.14f There are at least 15-17 countries that currently possess DU ammunition (e.g. US, Britain, France, Israel, Egypt, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, etc.)14c,13 A harmful reaction by Allied veterans to chemical, biological, and radiological effects from the Gulf War culminated into what is known as Gulf War Syndrome (part of the cause is potentially due to DU weaponry). A very recent similar series of events occurred with post-DU use in the Balkans, which lead to “Balkan War Syndrome”. The Gulf War is an older case but was the first time that the US military employed DU weaponry on a large military scale against an enemy. DU rounds have a silver-like luster due to the aluminum coating. An important thing to consider was how much DU was actually dumped onto Iraqi territory. Around 9,640 tanks shells and 850,000 aircraft 30mm rounds were used. 14f This translates to nearly 650,000 pounds of actual DU deposited on Iraqi soil!14f That’s a lot of nuclear waste! (Gulf War #1 not Gulf War #2 which was far higher.) Over 200 vehicles that were hit by friendly fire were analyzed by the US military. 14f Over 29 vehicles were found with abnormally high radioactive levels. 12 vehicles (including 6 Bradleys) were buried in Saudi Arabia due to substantial radioactive levels.14f Numerous soldiers were also rumored to have been affected by DU. British SAS and US special forces, cleanup crews, and a wide variety of other military personnel who were constantly in the presence of DU contaminated sites were analyzed and in many cases shown to have contained abnormally high levels of uranium and radiation poisoning. Many veterans (not just those suffering from friendly fire) continue to have persistent medical problems. During the Gulf War, over 85% of military soldiers have wandered through at least some DU contaminated sites (e.g. destroyed Iraqi vehicles, bunkers, etc.) 14i. Veteran groups estimate that +400,000 Gulf personnel have inhaled some amount of DU dust. In regions heavily hit by DU, studies have shown that numerous civilians have extensive problems with their immune systems, malignant cancers (such as ludicrously high leukemia rates), heart problems, and bizarre abnormal birth defects (such as children born without eyes, ears, tongue, etc.).2

BTW, LEAD is the ONLY real "depleted uranium", which took billions of years to decay from uranium, but even lead is a deadly heavy metal that binds to DNA, causing cancers and birth defects.

Pollution above toxic levels surrounding Oak Ridge Nuclear Laboratory (ETTP)

HTML Report (200 pages - reclassified Top Secret)

PDF Report (200 pages - reclassified Top Secret)
http://tis.eh.doe.gov/oversight/reports/gdps/0010ettp/0010ettp.html

Verbatum from the declassified portion of the Report:

"Conservative estimates indicated that 35,000 pounds of uranium were released into the air from all sources. 4,300 pounds of uranium a month was unaccounted for or released to the environment. ETTP operates an incinerator which handles radioactive, hazardous and uranium-contaminated PCB wastes. ETTP generated transuranic elements (isotopes with atomic numbers greater than uranium) such as neptunium-237 and plutonium-239; fission products such as techneitum-99; PCBs; toxic metals; and volatile organic compunds such as trichloroethene (TCE) and present risk to the public. Some contaminants migrated outside the Plant boundary. Waste disposal practices included direct discharge of radioactive materials, toxics and caustics to holding ponds and storm drains, and incineration and burial. Reports reflected a number of spills of nitric and hydrochloric acids, in one case 200 gallons. Numerous large fires and explosions were reported. It is impossible to characterize exposure because of inadequate surveys and incomplete records. Records indicate that as contamination levels increased, exposure controls were reduced. Contamination above limits was commonly detected. Operations have released a variety of contaminants into the environment, such as burial of low-level and hazardous waste in landfills and dumping directly into the Clinch River. Large amounts of contaminated equipment and scrap material were sold at public auction. Tens of thousands of pounds of flourine and hydrogen flouride were emitted annually. The investigation team identified over 600 releases of uranium hexaflouride, and a large, visible cloud was released outside a building. Exposure to 'intense clouds' of uranium powder dusts was prevalent and resulted in intense beta radiation fields. Each month dozens or workers were identified as having exposures exceeding plant control guides. Extensive contamination was prevalent. Recordsindicate many air samples in excess of Plant Allowable Limits. Both chemical and radiological materials have routinely been discharged from the Plant, from both sanitary sewage and storm water systems and materials were directly discharged in Mitchell Branch and Poplar Creek. One million pounds of blowdown water was discharged a day. The hexavalent chromium concentration in Poplar Creek is equal to the level regulated by the site's permit. Contents of 500 uranium hexafloride and other gas cylinders were emptied into the unlined holding pond by shooting the cylinders with high-powered rifles, and this pond discharged into Poplar Creek. Records confirm that radiation exceeded drinking water standards. Over 80,000 drums of pond sludge with low concentrations of uranium were generated in 1988. Ventilation was modified to discharge mercury fumes above the roof. Elevated levels of mercury were found in urinalyses. Records refer to the recovery of tons of mercury. Traps would blow out spilling mercury on the floor. Air sampling in the 1990s identified mercury levels several times the Threshold Limit Value. Continual and volumnous process leaks (blowoffs) were vented to the atmosphere. 4,300 pounds of uranium hexaflouride were released per month. Losses were excessive. 10,000 union grievances were filed and management disputed grievances concerning safety in favor of economic considerations. Many storm drains were not moitored before 1992, and routine and accidental wastes have adversely impacted the environment and the aquatic habitat. Weaknesses in the sampling and monitoring of air pollutant emissions raise concerns regarding the accuracy of public dose and exposure calculations. Environmental radiological protection and surveillance are not compliant with DOE Order. Few records reflect involvement by the Atomic Energy Commission in investigations of serious events. Levels of airborne radioactivity were as high as 35,800 dpm/ft3, and far exceeded the PAL of 2 dpm/ft3. [That's radiation levels over 17,000 times the maximum limit.] Airborne radioactivity far in excess of normal background levels was measured off-site as far as five miles away. A number of criticality and sub-criticality accident experiments were performed and posed a severe radiation hazard. Bladder cancer rates were seven times higher than for the general population, and stomach ulcers were 6.5 times greater. Inhalation of airborn radiation can increase the risk of future cancer." (verbatum from the Report)

NOTE: This report only covered the K-25 plant, not the DOE National Nuclear Security Administration's Y-12 nuclear bombs factory, not the thousands of contaminated lab rats from ORNL's Y-12 nuclear bombs factory Mouse House that are incinerated at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in downtown Knoxville, and did not cover Top Secret "criticality" pollution, "referred to as 'special hazards'" (ie, "small" explosions due to accidental nuclear reactions), and "are discussed in a separate classifed document." The GOPS government of Tennessee previously gave ETTP/ORNL a clean bill of health in 1999.

RALPH NADER ON NUKES: "High-level nuclear waste will be hazardous for more than 200,000 years. An Energy Department study found that a severe accident in a rural area could contaminate a 42-square-mile area, require over a year to 'clean up', and cost $620 million."

PERIODIC CHART - FLOURINE (FLOURIDE)

Fluorine is an univalent poisonous gaseous halogen, it is pale yellow-green and it is the most chemically reactive and electronegative of all the elements. Fluorine readily forms compounds with most other elements, even with the noble gases krypton, xenon and radon. It is so reactive that glass, metals, and even water, as well as other substances, burn with a bright flame in a jet of fluorine gas. When fluorine is attached to very small particles it can remain in the air for a long period of time. In the atmosphere 0.6 ppb of fluorine are present as salt spray and organicochloride compounds. Up to 50 ppb has been recorded in city environments. If fluorine is absorbed too frequently, it can cause teeth decay, osteoporosis and harm to kidneys, bones, nerves and muscles. Fluorine gas is released in the industries. This gas is very dangerous, as it can cause death at very high concentrations. When fluorine from the air ends up in water it will settle into the sediment. When it ends up in soils, fluorine will become strongly attached to soil particles. In the environment fluorine cannot be destroyed. Too much fluoride, wheater taken in form the soil by roots, or asdorbed from the atmosphere by the leaves, retards the growth of plants and reduces crop yields. Animals that are exposed to high concentrations of fluorine suffer from dental decay and bone degradation.

There has been a case report of an elevated phenytoin level after 4 weeks of PAXIL and phenytoin coadministration. There has been a case report of severe hypotension when PAXIL was added to chronic metoprolol treatment. PAXIL has not been systematically studied in animals or humans for its potential for abuse, tolerance or physical dependence. Based on the mechanism of action of paroxetine and the potential for serotonin syndrome, caution is advised when PAXIL is coadministered with other drugs or agents that may affect the serotonergic neurotransmitter systems, such as tryptophan, triptans, serotonin reuptake inhibitors, linezolid (an antibiotic which is a reversible non-selective MAOI), lithium, tramadol, or St. John's Wort (see Serotonin Syndrome). A multiple-dose study has shown that there is no pharmacokinetic interaction between PAXIL and lithium carbonate. However, since there is little clinical experience, the concurrent administration of paroxetine and lithium should be undertaken with caution.

Yes, DU is very heavy. And I would imagine that it aerosolizes to some extent on impact. (Most metals do if you heat them). And yes, it is residually radioactive. And no, I probably wouldn't want to be near it. In fact, unranium actually acts as an estrogen mimic- it is one of the few non-organic chemicals that behaves as a potent endocrine disrupter. BTW- as a chemist I have learned to have a healthy respect for chemicals. But DU does not "burn" (oxidize) when it exits a weapon. Juicing up a story like that just undercuts your own arguments.

As far as the pix of deformed babies- Mother Nature is a b*tch. About 30% of all fetuses are spontaneously aborted due to fatal defects. Deformed babies are borna ll the time- I can find you some pretty gruesome pictures from medical journals if you would like. The question is whether there is a statistically significant increase in deformities in Iraq, and whether it can be related to DU or to some other factors like lack of folate (causes spina bifida) or other vitamins, or increase in ergotamine or aflatoxin ingestion (teratogenic, due to eating spoiled grains and legumes) due to the embargo. And even if DU were the cause, the actual mechanism might be related to the estrogen-like behavior of uranium and not to radiation specifically. Be a good fellow and do some research on that, OK? Thanks.

This, of course, results in the immediate death of those behind the pierced armour, but the fine particles and vapour remain as a permanent threat to any who later come near.
www.big.com.au/corrdh_0404.html

“When we climbed into vehicles after they’d been hit, no matter what time or day or night it was, you couldn’t see three feet in front of you. You breathed in that dust.”
-Dr. Doug Rokke, Gulf War veteran, US Army clean up crew

"'Depleted' URANIUM is RADIOACTIVE at all times. It decays immediately into GAMMA RAYS, X-RAYS, BETA PARTICLES, AND DEADLY ALPHA PARTICLES. It IGNITES at over 3,000-degrees F the instant it leaves the barrel of a gun, like a magnesium flare. When it hits a target it explodes into radiactive dust. Once you breathe or eat alpha radiation, it's like getting a medical x-ray every minute of your short life. DU is a radioactive heavy metal that binds to DNA. DU half life is 4.5-BILLION years, but it requires 10 half lives to reduce radiation to safe levels. DU is suicide for any soldier that touches it, even before it's fired from a gun. Even M-16 ammo is now radioactive DU."

The U.S. Military is in DU Denial

“My name is John Marshall. I was exposed to DU (depleted uranium). I am 100 percent disabled and I am pissed-off. In fact, I was advised by a couple of my counselors not to do this [interview] because I’m so angry with the government—at the VA system, at the way I’m treated and other veterans are treated. It’s very impersonal. They don’t give you any time. They ask us to go fight their wars, do the dirty work and then they can’t take care of you.”

Most people don’t believe the U.S. has been poisoning its own troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, or they’ve heard about uranium “tipped” bombs—like fingernail polish painted on the outside of a shell casing. On the contrary, these are solid uranium core projectiles.

“I got a thank you (letter) from some lieutenant colonel. ‘Thank you for serving our country. We express our deepest gratitude but we believe you were one of these men who were exposed to depleted uranium either through shrapnel or inhalation of dust.’

“I’m 35, I take 17 medications, I’ve had cancer—lymphatic cancer, Hodgkin’s disease—Lennert’s lymphoma was the initial diagnosis—immune system.”

At age 35 John Marshall should be beginning to peak in his career. As a handsome man, married with three children, Marshall exudes energy. He looks strong, earthy, limps a bit on the left, has a thick build with a lean neck and chin. The military was his career. Being exposed to DU has been called a death sentence.

The initial reports were that in the first 24 hours of the ground war 3,000 out of 4,000 just in my brigade were supposed to die. That was scary going into Iraq. It was a Kill and Destroy Mission, kill and destroy everything that was enemy. That’s what we did.

In February 2006 a spike in DU over Britain was made public in the Oct. 12, 1999, Aldermaston Report. And CNN reported the U.S. lung cancer rate jumped six-fold for the first two months of the year. DU dust doesn’t stay put just as radiation hits from Chernobyl bounced around the world on air currents. It is estimated that lung cancer incubates 2 to 5 years after DU inhalation. Four and a-half years ago the Afghan bombing campaign began. Three years ago Iraq War 2 exploded. And if it’s in the air, it’s in the water.

All of us have uranium in our urine because uranium is ubiquitous in the environment. The real DU test costs $1,000. The wars cost more than $1 billion a week.

If DU particles are inhaled, alpha radiation causes cell damage, lymph cancers and lung cancer. Beta radiation attacks the eyes and skin. Chemically, DU acting as a heavy metal affects bone and kidneys. DU has a half life of 4 ½ billion years.

When a DU munition is fired it burns through a target (or a missed target) and self-sharpens as it moves, leaving a trail of contaminated dust, like smoke, in its wake.

About 340 tons of DU munitions were fired during Iraq War 1. In the Balkans, notably Kosovo, approximately 11 tons of DU were delivered. The Christian Science Monitor reports estimates of 75 tons (official U.S. military figure) to 1,000 tons of DU munitions used in Iraq War 2 so far.

There is an “observed higher prevalence of birth defects among infants conceived postwar to Gulf War veterans of both sexes,” reported Araneta, Schlangen, Edmonds, et al, in their study “Prevalence of birth defects among infants of Gulf War veterans in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Georgia, Hawaii, and Iowa,” 1989-1993.

Of the 580,000 Iraq War 1 veterans, 56 percent have applied for disability treatment and benefits.

Iraq is a nuclear war. DU munitions are weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). Yes, there are WMDs in Iraq.

“I’m just tired. I just feel tired of fighting these bastards in the hospital. They don’t believe in prevention. My tumor wasn’t sent to pathology. The government waits. They wait for the veterans to die.

Fox hires lobbyist to sweeten U.S. views on immigration

Los Angeles Times | December 28, 2005
BY SAM ENRIQUEZ

MEXICO CITY -- President Vicente Fox has rehired the Texas public relations man and GOP political consultant who quietly helped engineer his election victory in 2000. This time, Fox wants Rob Allyn & Co. to put the brakes on growing anti-immigration, anti-Mexican sentiment in the United States.

Last week, the U.S. House approved a bill to add 700 miles of border fencing and make illegal immigration a felony. Fox denounced the measure as shameful. His foreign minister called it stupid and underhanded.

''The contributions of Mexicans in the United States, who are making their best effort, generating lots of wealth, are not known,'' said Rodrigo Iván Cortés Jiménez, an elected deputy in Mexico's lower house and a member of its commission on foreign affairs.

The immigration bill, expected to reach the Senate in February, has no provision for allowing temporary Mexican workers -- a further slap, in Fox's view. He and President Bush agree on the need for a ''guest worker'' program.

Fox cannot seek reelection next year, and his legacy may rest in part on his pledges to secure an agreement with the United States to grant legal status to the millions of Mexicans living and working illegally north of the border.

So the Mexican leader last week turned to the political operative who helped him topple Mexico's longtime ruling party to win the presidency.

Rob Allyn helped George W. Bush defeat Ann Richards for the governorship of Texas in 1994. Three years later, Allyn saw another potential winner in Fox, then governor of Guanajuato state. He agreed to join Fox's presidential campaign, but only in secret.

For three years, Allyn worked clandestinely, helping craft Fox's message of change, as well as his TV commercials, his polling and his wardrobe. Allyn made dozens of trips to Mexico, traveling under one of three pseudonyms.

Fox, of the National Action Party, came from behind to defeat Francisco Labastida of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, which had ruled Mexico for seven decades. During Mexico's official campaign season in the first six months of 2000, Allyn worked with Penn, Schoen & Berland, a polling and political consulting firm. They operated Democracy Watch, a nonpartisan group hired by Mexicans to conduct national exit polls as a hedge against election fraud.

After the July election, Allyn told the Dallas Morning News he hid his work for Fox because he didn't want to be a political liability. Mexicans are sensitive to foreign interference, especially involving the United States.

Allyn, who also worked on the Bush presidential campaigns, now faces a bigger challenge with the migration issue.

Demands to stem illegal immigration are growing louder in the United States as Mexican and Central American workers spread across the country.

''Our focus is on public opinion, which influences policy outcomes in Congress,'' said Allyn, 46, who grew up in Huntington Beach, Calif., and moved to Texas when he was in high school. ``There is a huge misperception among the U.S. public about Mexico.''

Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez said Allyn's message should be that Mexicans have sunk roots deep in their U.S. neighborhoods and that they contribute more through their work, taxes and families than they take away in public services.

Who'd Vicente Fox Hire to Stop Us From Building Our Border Fence?

Why, George Bush's Old PR Hack, of course!

Unabashedly Unhyphenated | December 20, 2006

Predictably, Vicente Fox's kleptocratic regime is apoplectic over the thought of the United States actually excercising its sovereignty. So, what did he run out and do right after unleashing an initial demand that we continue our de facto illegal merger with his third-world dump of a nation? Why, he went and hired an American PR firm. Not just any firm. Presidente Jorge W. Bush's old Political PR firm.

Hmm. I wonder if this is just a coincidence. Or is it likely that our own president is coaching for the other team on this issue? If Bush is trying to help design an end run play on the actual will of the majority of Americans, then I've lost the last bit of respect that I had for this man. And to think that this morning I was all set to write a strong defense of his actions regarding the surveillance of international communications. He's right in doing that. But if he truly cares about our security, he needs to pay attention to the myriad fears and concerns that his statements, positions and policies on immigration are creating for many Americans. Instead, he seems far more concerned about people whom he does not represent: illegal aliens, most of them subjects of his good buddy Vic Fox.

Why is it that he appears to remain so inept at "surveilling" the strong desires of his citizens regarding immigration? If it springs from some paternal "I know what's best for you" instinct, I'm really glad I didn't vote for him the second time around. On my worst day, most of my instincts are better than any of his on his best day.

Looks like USA needs to nuke Mexico ASAP. Iran can wait. In point of fact, just put US military firing ranges on the border, and the DU dust will just kill millions of criminal terrorists walking across the border.

Hachita, N.M. -- The Associated Press has confirmed that the armored vehicles first reported on the border in New Mexico by American Border Patrol, are from The Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Fort Lewis, Washington. On Friday, ABP's Border Hawk M returned to New Mexico to document the presence of the US Army's presence using its daylight cameras. "While these are baby steps in the journey toward securing our borders, the presence of the Stryker Brigade on the Border in New Mexico is creating a wave of hope across America," said Glenn Spencer of American Patrol.

Of course, it's only a mind deal, unless there are THOUSANDS of armored vehicles on BOTH borders. And arrest those 10,000 ILLEGAL aliens working as airport screeners for US Dept of Homeland Security and TSA.

It's a sabotted round. It's fired from a conventional gun whick is why the outer sections, the Sabbot, are burning. After the round is fired they fall away and the internal fletchete core continues the the target.

Not a good pic for PN to use because the Sabbot itself wouldnt be DU and the core DU Fletchete would not be in contact with the explosive.

This radioactive smoke is then breathed by US troops, especially those inside the tank, when they reopen the barrel to reload. When the DU dart hits a target, it melts and explodes into radioactive dust, which is then breathed by US soldiers and Iraqis - and all Europeans.

U.S. military might relies on depleted uranium, which incinerates tanks on impact. But soldiers and civilians alike say the radioactive ammo is making them sick. DU burns at 9,000-deg F (5,000-deg C). Depleted uranium is the heaviest of metals, which results in its superior penetrating abilities; it is also highly pyrophoric, bursting into flames at temperatures of 170 degrees Celsius. To imagine the carnage, one need only recall Iraq's infamous "Highway of Death", a desert road between Basra and Kuwait's border that remains strewn with radioactive trucks, cars, and tanks. U.S. soldiers found bodies inside those vehicles that were burned in such astonishing ways that they dubbed the remains "crispy critters".

LUNG CANCER EPIDEMIC FROM DU HAS BEGUN IN U.S.

By Dr. James Howenstine, MD.
April 6, 2006
NewsWithViews.com

In the year 2005 there were 175,000 new cases of lung cancer in the United States. The months of January and February of 2006 have already yielded 172,000 new cases of lung cancer in our nation. What has lead to this shocking new development?

Second hand smoke exposure and cigarette smoking obviously can not explain this dramatic rise in lung cancer. Following exposure to radioactive iodine particulate debris in the air from shells and bombs, between 2 to 5 years of time is needed to lead to the appearance of malignancies. Our bombing of Afghanistan began in October 2001 (four and a half years ago) and the new bombing in Iraq began in March 2003 (exactly three years ago). Aerial bombs are more effective than artillery shells in increasing airborne radioiodine because they release more dust into the atmosphere. The radioactive iodine increment from these bombings was registered in the UK in the Aldermaston Report[1] released on Feb. 19, 2006.

The U.S. government has not released any information about the levels of radioactivity being observed in the U.S. and the controlled media in Europe and the U.S. has said nothing about the 4 genocidal nuclear wars the United States and it’s British ally have foisted off on the populace of the world. (Bosnia, Iraq twice and Afghanistan). The DU wars surely reflect the population lowering program for the world being implemented by the New World Order elitists (Tilateral Commisson., Bilderbergers, Club of Rome, 33 rd degree Masons, Illuminati, Council of Foreign Relations.)

Breathing radioactive particlulate matter has long been known to cause lung cancer. Miners working in uranium mines and other types of mining where radioactivity is an occupational hazard have a higher incidence of lung cancer. This danger from airborne radioactive iodine is greater than that found from cigarette smoking. The radioactive iodine particles go directly to DNA which is “trashed”. There are no ways the human body can rid itself of the radioactive particles so the health damage is permanent. This results in severe health problems particularly malignancies which have no effective therapies. Physicians in Bosnia are seeing patients present for care with three simultaneous malignancies something never previously reported in medicine.

Children in Iraq are dying in epidemic numbers from malignancies. In most nations cancer in children is uncommon. This makes depleted uranium shells and bombs an ideal vehicle to diminish the world population. The absence of media exposure critical of this genocidal program makes DU warfare a low risk program for lowering world population. One of the attractive features of using radioactive uranium for biologic warfare and population lowering is that there are no known effective ways to heal an individual who develops a malignancy after radioiodine iodine exposure.

A frightening aspect of depleted uranium warfare is that there is no way to protect oneself from this hazard. Clothing and gas masks are easily penetrated. The key persons running the New World Order are brilliant planners. They would not want themselves to die from lung cancer along with the rest of humanity. My guess is they have discovered methods to protect themselves from developing lung cancer. Certainly one has to be impressed with how effectively David Rockefeller, Zignev Brezinski and Henry Kissinger appear to have managed to avoid the infirmities of aging at least to outward appearances.

I do not know if persons living in the Southern hemisphere are also being exposed to radioiodine fallout. Recently Christopher Reeves wife, Dana, died of lung cancer at age 44. She was a healthy non smoker so her death appeared puzzling. The DU fallout may provide a rational explanation.

Because prevailing winds have carried radioiodine dust to Europe and probably the U.S. it appears that at least half the persons on planet earth are currently breathing radioiodine. The topic of depleted uranium bombs and shells will not be discussed in the media because the world’s media is controlled by the New World Order elitists. World wide public outrage could ruin their plans to rapidly lower the world’s population by 90 % if this issue was publicly discussed.

When a biologic warfare agent like the borrelia burgdorfi spirochete (Lyme Disease) turns out to spread person to person it becomes a gigantic success. We all must breath to stay alive. With at least half the persons on earth now breathing radioactive iodine the bio-warfare scientists appear to have their second big winner. Expect lung cancer deaths to rapidly increase worldwide.

"Depleted" Uranium comes from "Enriched" Uranium, NOT from natural uranium. Lead is decayed natural uranium, NOT from decayed Enriched Uranium, which is manmade inside nuclear reactors, which duplicate the temperature of stars (over 3 million degrees F), forging new heavier elements such as super-radioactive isotopes of uranium. Natural uranium was manufactured inside a star, which then exploded in supernova, perhaps 10-billion years ago, according to current guestimates by nuclear physicists and astronomers. So lead had at least 10-billion years to decay from natural uranium, long before Earth was formed by gravity. Inside stars, ALL elements burn at over 3-million degrees F, including uranium.

4.5-billion years is the official half-life of "Depleted" (Enriched) Uranium. Since half of the original radiation is still deadly radiation, it requires 10 half-lives to reach a "safe" level. Duh. How come you can't figure out how to look it up for yourself? Have you never heard of search engines?

Quote:

Experimentally, we find that spontaneous fission reactions occur for only the very heaviest nuclides those with mass numbers of 230 or more. Even when they do occur, these reactions are often very slow. The half-life for the spontaneous fission of 238U, for example, is 10-16 years (10,000,000,000,000,000 years), or about two million times longer than the age of our planet! It is the reprocessing of 239Pu that concerns most of the critics of breeder reactors. 239Pu is so dangerous as a carcinogen that the nuclear industry places a limit on exposure to this material that assumes workers inhale no more than 0.2 micrograms of plutonium over their lifetimes. In 1972, a group of French scientists discovered that uranium ore from a deposit in the Oklo mine in Gabon, West Africa, contained 0.4% 235U instead of the 0.72% abundance found in all other sources of this ore. Analysis of the trace elements in the ore suggested that the amount of 235U in this ore was unusually small because natural fission reactors operated in this deposit for a period of 600,000 to 800,000 years about 2 billion years ago. The d-t reaction has an ignition temperature above 10-8 degrees Kelvin (180-million degrees F). In a hydrogen bomb, a fission reaction produced by a small atomic bomb is used to heat the contents to the temperature required to initiate fusion.
http://chemed.chem.purdue.edu/genchem/topicreview/bp/ch23/fission.php

So DU can burn at 180-million degrees F, in a nuclear bomb. So can every other element. Those Jews are so smart, they figured out how to kill people at 180-million degrees F. And these Jews planned the Manhattan Project at Jewish Bohemian Grove, performing "mock" human sacrifice to the Jewish god Molech. And running around nekked in the woods, wanking each others' weewees. Lovely.

Gunpowder burns at over 3,000 degrees F. Are you claiming that is not "hot"? Have you never fired a gun at night, where the fire exiting the barrel can blind you? That's why military rifles, used for hunting people, use "flash-suppressors", to prevent night-blindness, and prevent the enemy seeing their location in the dark.

Paper burns at only 451 degrees F, which was officially hot enough to melt 3 steel skyscrapers at the World Trade Center and collapse them into puddles of molten steel, that was still liquified 2 months later. (Never mind that steel melts at over 3,000 deg F.)

Outland Sales and Service has been producing .22 caliber rim-fire tracers ammunition since 1998, and we have recently expanded our tracer product lines to include 9MM and 12 gauge shotgun. We have also added some popular military caliber tracers such as .223, 7.62x39, .308, and 50 BMG in limited quantities.
www.outlandsales.com

Tracers are special bullets that are white phosphorus-tipped or contain a powder in their base that burns very brightly during their flight. This enables the shooter to follow the bullets' trajectories. The shooter then, typically, "walks" his cone of fire onto the target by seeing where the tracer is going. A tracer projectile is constructed with a hollow base filled with a pyrotechnic flare material. In US and NATO standard ammunition this is usually a mixture of strontium salts and a metal fuel such as magnesium perchlorate. This yields a bright red light. Due to their pyrotechnic payload all tracers are incendiary in nature; although incendiary tracer bullets, some incorporating white phosphorus, are more effective.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracer_ammunition

Pure phosphorus ignites spontaneously in air and burns to produce phosphorus pentoxide. White phosphorus is used in military applications as incendiary bombs, for smoke-screening as smoke pots and smoke bombs, and in tracer ammunition. Phosphorus is a key element in all known forms of life. When red phosphorus was discovered, with its far lower flammability and toxicity, it was adopted as a safer alternative for match manufacture. Phosphorus (Greek phosphoros, meaning "light bearer" which was the ancient name for the planet Venus, translated as Lucifer in Latin) was discovered by German alchemist Hennig Brand in 1669 through a preparation from urine.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphorus

In 1669 the Hamburg merchant and alchemist Hennig Brandt heated the residue from evaporating urine with powdered charcoal, and condensed the vapor that was evolved into a waxy solid. This solid glowed in the dark, without heat, an astonishing phenomenon. He called the mysterious substance phosphorus, taken directly from the Greek phosphoros, "light-bringer." This was also the name of the planet Venus as morning star, "Lucifer" in Latin. The discovery created quite a stir, and soon nobody was throwing away urine. Travelling alchemists amazed royal audiences, and it was the talk of the time. A normal person excretes about a gram of phosphorus daily. Canisters of calcium phosphide are used as signals at sea. When pierced and thrown into the water, they make volumes of smoke, and cannot be extinguished.

So US military is using weapons in Iraq that make innocent people spontaneously combust (see photos):
www.rainews24.rai.it/ran24/inchiesta/slideshow.asp?gallery=1

How do you explain tracer bullets, painted with magnesium metal powder, that self-ignites in oxygen, 10-feet after leaving the barrel of a gun? Tracer bullets and magnesium flares self-ignite at ROOM-TEMPERATURE, without primer and without sparks.

Steel sabot burns from friction with supersonic air at 5,500mph (8,000 feet/second). Supersonic friction also ignites the radioactive uranium dart

Radioactive "depleted" uranium darts and radioactive "depleted" uranium bullets burn at ANY temperature above its self-ignition temperature, up to 9,000-deg F (5,000-deg C). Friction with supersonic air is what raises the temperature of burning DU darts fired from 120mm tanks. Inside stars, ALL elements burn at over 3-million degrees F, including uranium.

activation energy

In chemistry, the minimum energy required in order to start a chemical reaction. Some elements and compounds will react together merely by bringing them into contact (spontaneous reaction). For others it is necessary to supply energy (heat, radiation, or electrical charge) in order to start the reaction, even if there is ultimately a net output of energy. This initial energy is the activation energy. The point at which the reaction begins is known as the energy barrier. When the energy barrier is reached, the chemical bonds in the reactants are broken, enabling them to proceed from reactants to products. In some reactions, such as the combustion of fuels, the activation energy required for the chemical reaction to take place is very small, resulting in a rapid reaction. Other chemical reactions, such as the rusting of iron (a type of oxidation) have a very large energy barrier and take place slowly.
www.tiscali.co.uk/reference/encyclopaedia/hutchinson/m0026528.html

gunpowder

Oldest known explosive, a mixture of 75% potassium nitrate (saltpetre), 15% charcoal, and 10% sulphur. Sulphur ignites at a low temperature, charcoal burns readily, and the potassium nitrate provides oxygen for the explosion. As gunpowder produces lots of smoke and burns quite slowly, it has progressively been replaced since the late 19th century by high explosives, although it is still widely used for quarry blasting, fuses, and fireworks. Gunpowder has high activation energy; a gun based on gunpowder alone requires igniting by a flint or a match. It was probably first invented in China, where it was chiefly used for fireworks. It is possible that knowledge of it was transmitted from the Middle East to Europe. The writings of the English monk Roger Bacon show that he was experimenting with gunpowder in 1249. His mixture contained saltpetre, charcoal, and sulphur. The development of effective gunpowder was essential for the growing significance of cannons and handguns in the late medieval period. The Arabs produced the first known working gun, in 1304.
www.tiscali.co.uk/reference/encyclopaedia/hutchinson/m0010015.html

Funny how the ARAB Semites invented the first gun, but insane illiterate US troops/slaves pretend Iraqi Arabs are stupid.

Quote:

Gunpowder Developments

Gunpowder goes off at 300 degrees centigrade (570 degrees F), which can easily be generated by friction. Some experimentation demonstrated that a fine powder was less effective than a relatively coarse one, due to the fact that coarse powder permits more free oxygen to be present when the charge is tamped in place, thereby enhancing the burning of the powder at its optimal temperature, some 2,000 degrees centigrade (3,600 degrees F).
www.hyw.com/books/history/Gunp0011.htm

So the butt-end of the DU dart, and the steel sabot, are already heated to 3,600 deg F before exiting the barrel of the gun, due to the burning temperature of gunpowder.

Then supersonic friction heats the DU dart to 9,000 deg F before it hits the target. At 9,000 deg F, the radioactive DU dart is BURNING before hitting the target.

Then it heats up 1,000s of degrees more due to friction of hitting the target, which completely liquifies the DU dart into molten metal, which then IGNITES millions of particles of radioactive uranium dust, which then EXPLODES in a "nuclear" explosion (since all types of dust explode when suspended in air, such as grain silos).

Note that ADDITIONAL PRIMER is used to IGNITE the DU dart in 120mm tank shells, to make sure it catches on fire, which ensures it is already on fire when it hits the target, just like a tracer bullet is ignited by a 2nd primer used to ignite the powdered metal magnesium tracer packed into the butt-end on the bullet. This 2nd primer is INSIDE the shell, surrounded by "gunpowder". This is NOT the same external primer used to ignite the gunpowder inside the shell. The gunpowder ignites the primer, not vice versa.

Note the following diagram showing primer INSIDE the shell:

Quote:

"Depleted uranium is an emitter of alpha radiation, but beta emissions and photons (x-rays and gamma rays) also are produced. Beta particles can travel about a centimetre into the body. Photons (x-rays and gamma rays) are more penetrating and can pass straight through the body. Depleted uranium external to the body is a source of gamma and beta radiation."

This is a truly diabolical weapon, since it requires the person using the weapon to commit suicide and murder his own troops. DU is the ultimate method of "laying waste" to enemy territory, and is the ultimate method of "Fratricidal Fragging" by so-called "Friendly Fire". Using DU is TREASON, a crime punishable by DEATH.

Nuclear reactors cannot get that hot! If they could, we wouldn't still be struggling to create a viable means of harnessing fusion energy. If it were that temperature, the water used as coolant would vaporize instantly, and the reactor walls would suffer an immediate, catastrophic meltdown.

The magnesium and phosphorus they use are completely different chemicals. Different chemicals have different properties. To oxidize (burn), all chemicals MUST have energy to start the reaction. Because of their atomic makeup, some require minimal energy to ignite, while some(like, say, diamond) need unbelieveably massive amounts of activation energy.

If you learned to READ and THINK (no what I'm saying sweet pea ) You'd KNOW that a Fission Nuclear Reactor never reaches that temperature. A nuclear Fission reactor contains a Nuclear FISSION reaction to heat water into STEAM. Therefore it never has to rise much above 100 degrees c in order to do it's job. What ever temperature the Reactor reaches it does have to be contained by materials here on Earth, and as you so eloquently (for a primary school child anyway) put it all materials burn at 3-million degrees F.

You may be thinking of a nuclear FUSION reaction, which has to be contained within a magnetic field (and is what happens inside stars). Unfortunately me-love that’s not a radioactive reaction, and has nothing to do with Uranium as a fuel, it turns Hydrogen into Helium by combining two Hydrogen Atoms under pressure and heat to form a single Helium Atom.

This is usually done with Deuterium (an Isotope of Hydrogen, I realise such things would be hard to wrap your head around), which consists of one Proton and one Neutron. These are combined to produce Helium-3, which has two Protons and one Neutron, with a free Neutron as a by product.

When Deuterium is used there is NO radioactive component.

FLETCH2

Ok just to get this over with.

All elements heavier that hydrogen are made by the action of stars. As stars burn hydrogen fuel they convert hydrogen into helium. As stars get old and start to cool they start making heavier materials, esentially the elements that make up our physical world.

The heavier an element, the harder it is to produce, which is why elements like gold, lead and uranium are harder to find in nature than things like nitrogen and carbon.

Some elements have isotopes, that's a variation of the same elements with a different number of neutrons in the core. Now atomic cores tends to be more stable the closer they get to having an even ballence of neutrons and protons, so if an isotope has a wide significant difference in the number of neutrons it has a risk of being radioactive.

Certain very heavy nuclear isotopes like Plutonium are not made by stars. They are made inside nuclear reactors by a process known as neutron capture. Nuclear reactions work on neutrons, when U235 is hit by a neutron it breaks into two lighter elements and produces two new neutrons that go off to split 2 new U235 atoms. It is this chain reaction that powers nuclear reactors and nuclear bombs. If one of these spare neutrons hits the nucleus of another atom and is captured, the resulting isotope tends to become radioactive. It was found that if you bombard U238 with neutrons you eventually get plutonium, that's what a breeder reactor does, it introduces U238 into a reactor in the hope of turning some of it into Plutonium. Since you can make smaller nuclear weapons with Plutonium than Uranium, the existance of breeder reactors is a definate clue to to a country's nuclear intensions.

So let's go through some of the great PN's words of wisdom

1) Lead comes from decayed Uranium. --- Untrue, lead was made as lead inside a dying star. Uranium decays to lead eventually...... but right now there is very little lead about that was once Uranium.

2) Depleted Uranium is a reactor byproduct. ----That could well be, but it would be unlikely. If you buy yellowcake --- Uranium ore most of it is U238. To make fuel from it you have to enrich it, that is, seperate out the U235 from the U238. There are various ways this can be done the lowest tech of which is with a centrafuge (remember the aluminium tube thing.) This is WAY before the material ever sees a reactor. It is at this point that most of the U238 is removed and would be a waste product. It's not impossible that the depleted uranium is reactor waste but to clean it up enough and remove usefull materials and high radioactive isotopes from it would be expensive compared to just using the waste from enrichment.

3) Uranium is really bad for the body. ---- Oh yeah, no doubting that, all heavy metals are extremely bad for you if they are radioactive or not. You can add readily available lead to that list.

4) Depleted Uranium is highly radioactive. ---- No, the clue here is halflife. Generally materials emit radiation as they decay. Halflife is a measurement of rate of decay. High halflife means slow rate of decay, so generally that means low activity. So materials with long half lives are generally not as dangerous as ones with short halflives. There are exceptions to this though. One is if the chemical properties of the material would have it concentrate in the body. The body takes in elements all the time, useful or rare ones it tries to keep. If the radioactive isotope is chemically similar to one of these materials the body may inadvertly concentrate it.

DU's biggest problem by far is that it's toxic. How toxic it is compared to lead I don't know, but then you wouldnt really want to be exposed to too much lead either. Given the army's record with things like Agent Orange it's likely that long term physical and environmental effects haven't really been thought through. At the time DU was being thought out people expected it to be used on a tactical nuclear battlefield, it could be that they believed in that situation the effect was minimal.

Nuclear reactors cannot get that hot! If they could, we wouldn't still be struggling to create a viable means of harnessing fusion energy. If it were that temperature, the water used as coolant would vaporize instantly, and the reactor walls would suffer an immediate, catastrophic meltdown.

I have fired a gun at night, without a flash supressor or protective eyeware.
It does not blind you. Plus, if gunpowder burns at 3000 degrees, why don't the action and the barrel melt after a single shot?

How do you explain tracer bullets, painted with magnesium metal powder, that self-ignites in oxygen, 10-feet after leaving the barrel of a gun? Tracer bullets and magnesium flares self-ignite at ROOM-TEMPERATURE, without primer and without sparks.

Wow, I didn't know we already harnessed nuke fusion for powerplants. So you're now a nuclear physicist? Amazing that you have rewritten all existing textbooks of nuclear energy. Who would've guessed Einstein and gang were wrong. Thanks for correcting them. Not.

No element can "burn" without oxygen (oxidation), which is merely a chemical reaction, at any temp. Rust is oxidation (iron oxide, which is VERY explosive and a component of Thermite used to melt/cut the steel of WTC). An explosion is merely a rapid burn. Buy yourself a toy chemistry set, and start mixing chemicals until you blow yourself up.

Quote:

MELTDOWN AT THREE MILE ISLAND NUKE PLANT

In the predawn hours of March 28, 1979, a pressure valve suddenly malfunctioned at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The accident started at the plant's Unit 2 reactor when a small valve failed to close, causing cooling water to drain from the nuclear core. The core quickly began to overheat. Confronted by baffling and contradictory information, plant operators shut off the emergency water system that would have cooled the core. Within minutes, the mammoth control console was "lit up like a Christmas tree," one operator recalls. Hundreds of flashing lights were accompanied by piercing horns and sirens. By early morning Wednesday, March 28, the exposed part of the core was beginning to cook as temperatures in the reactor reached 4,300 degrees Fahrenheit--dangerously close to meltdown. But when contaminated water leaked into an adjoining building and started to release radioactive gases inside the plant, Three Mile Island's supervisor declared the first general emergency ever to arise at a nuclear power plant in the United States. Frightened residents didn't know whom to believe either. Just days earlier, Hollywood had released The China Syndrome, a film about a potential meltdown at a nuclear power plant. In it, an area the size of Pennsylvania is threatened with annihilation. For residents, life was now imitating art. "My sister called from LA," remembers Robin Stuart, "saying `Get out, hurry up and get out.'" More than 500,000 people now faced a decision: pack up and evacuate the area. Three years after the accident, a robotic camera was lowered into the Unit 2 core, providing the first look at what really had happened. Roger Mattson, a senior NRC engineer, describes what was revealed: "We had a meltdown at Three Mile Island. Fifty percent of the core was destroyed or molten and something on the order of twenty tons of uranium found its way to the bottom head of the pressure vessel. That's a core meltdown. No question about it."
www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/three/filmmore/description.html

The Chernobyl accident occurred on April 26, 1986 at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Pripyat, Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union). It is regarded as the worst accident in the history of nuclear power. Because there was no containment building, a plume of radioactive fallout drifted over parts of the western Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, UK, and the eastern United States. Large areas of Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia were badly contaminated, resulting in the evacuation and resettlement of roughly 200,000 people. An April 2006 report by the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) (who were awarded the 1986 Nobel peace prize), which counted tens of thousands dead among the liquidators. On Saturday, April 26, 1986, at 1:23:58 a.m. local time, the unit 4 reactor of the Chernobyl power plant—known as Chernobyl-4—suffered a catastrophic steam explosion that resulted in a fire, a series of additional explosions, and a nuclear meltdown. According to a Government Commission report published in August 1986, operators removed at least 204 control rods from the reactor core (out of a total of 211 for this reactor model), leaving seven. The same guidelines (noted above) prohibit operation of the RBMK-1000 with fewer than 15 rods inside the core zone. The rods became stuck after being inserted only one-third of the way, and were therefore unable to stop the reaction. By 1:23:47 the reactor jumped to around 30 GW, ten times the normal operational output. The fuel rods began to melt and the steam pressure rapidly increased causing a large steam explosion, displacing and destroying the reactor lid, rupturing the coolant tubes and then blowing a hole in the roof. After part of the roof blew off, the inrush of oxygen—combined with the extremely high temperature of the reactor fuel and graphite moderator—sparked a graphite fire. This fire greatly contributed to the spread of radioactive material and the ultimate contamination of outlying areas. a weak seismic event, similar to a magnitude-2.5 earthquake, was registered at 1:23:39 in the Chernobyl area. The situation is complicated by the fact that the "SCRAM" button was pressed more than once, and the person who actually pressed it died two weeks after the accident from radiation poisoning. Radiation levels were up to 20,000 roentgen per hour in some areas; lethal dose is around 100 roentgen per hour. The water that had hurriedly been pumped into the reactor building in a futile attempt to extinguish the fire had run down underneath the reactor floor to the space underneath. The problem presented by this was the fact that the smouldering fuel and other material on the reactor floor was starting to burn its way through this floor, and was being made worse by materials being dropped from helicopters, which simply acted as a furnace to increase the temperatures further. If this material came into contact with the water, it would have generated a thermal explosion which would have arguably been worse than the initial reactor explosion itself, and would have, by many estimates, rendered land in a radius of hundreds of miles from the plant uninhabitable for at least one hundred years. Chernobyl Unit 4 reactor contained about 180-190 metric tons of uranium dioxide fuel. Estimates of the amount of this material that escaped: 30 percent. Greenpeace Russia considers that 67,000 people died in Russia because of Chernobyl's consequences. About 95% of the fuel (about 180 tonnes) in the reactor at the time of the accident remains inside the shelter, with a total radioactivity of nearly 18 million curies (670 PBq). The radioactive material consists of core fragments, dust, and lava-like "fuel-containing materials" (FCM) that flowed through the wrecked reactor building before hardening into a ceramic form. The sarcophagus was never designed to last for the 100,000 years needed to contain the radioactivity found within the remains of reactor unit 4. While present designs for a new shelter anticipate a lifetime of up to 100 years, that time is minuscule compared to the lifetime of the radioactive materials within the reactor.

Obviously, nuke electricity by Gangsta Govt is for losers and dead people. The ONLY sane nuke power uses the Sun's fusion and Earth's nuke core for heat sources, since they are safely safely millions of miles away in space, or 5,000 miles away underground. Solar, wind, geothermal are safe, but don't help the NWO's genocide program.

www.pseg.com/media_center/photogallery/gallery.jsp

Nuke meltdown means the nuke reactor core burns through the containment building and gravity pulls it to the center planet Earth, which is already a giant nuclear reactor of heavy elements like uranium, that didn't already solidify on Earth's thin crust several billion years ago. The Earth's nuke core is liquid and rotates, driving Earth's magnetic force field (Van Allen Radiation Belts), which is the only way life can survie the killer gamma rays and 6-million mph nuke wind in outer space. Planet Earth is a giant nuclear reactor, but nuke fission, but not massive enough for nuke fusion like the sun.

China Syndrome is when the nuke core melts thru the center of the Earth and pops out the other side ot the planet. Won't thet be fun, cracking the Earth in half, or causing super volcanoes to destroy all life.

All gunpowder burns above 3,000 deg F. The reason they burn hotter than fire is due to oxygen in the gunpowder mix, via potassium nitrATE (ATE = oxygen), which acts like compressed oxygen in an oxyacetaline welding/cutting torch. Gun barrels are air-cooled, like nuke reactors. Some guns have added cooling fins, especially machine guns Machine guns are often water-cooled, since World War 1. All gun barrels overheat and warp if not allowed to cool between shots. Standard machine guns require barrels to be replaced on a fixed schedule. Gatling guns fire 6,000 bullets or grenades per second. Gatling guns have 6 barrels with only one firing at a time. Most gatling guns are in aircraft, so they get plenty of cool air, plus they fire so fast they can only carry a few seconds worth of ammo.

The barrel and receiver acts as a heat-sink, wicking away the heat as fast as possible. That's one reason why Bush's 9/11 CONmission Report is BS, because the WTC was built with the largest, strongest steel beams on planet Earth, which would act as heat-sinks to wick away all the heat from the paper fires, preventing any part of the steel from overheating and softening. The WTC was demolished by 1,000s of preinstalled bombs, installed by the Bush Gang, using cutting charges of Thermite. These cutters melted thru the WTC steel like a hot knife thru butter. Then kicker charges of normal dynomite pushed the steel gurders apart, and gravity pulled the 3 WTC towers down at the freefall speed of gravity in 10 seconds.

An aircooled engine doesn't melt because cooling fins radiate the heat. Otherwise the compressed oxygen and fuel in the cylinders would melt the aluminum pistons and cylinder heads. Same with watercooled engines, if they boil out all the water, which will destroy the engine, either by the pistons expanding and welding themselves to the steel cyclinder walls due to friction, or by melting the alluminum heads and pistons.

Gasoline has an ignition temperature of 495° F (232° C), in uncompressed air. Ignition temperature is the minimum temperature at which a material will burn or explode. It is the temperature at which a mixture of flammable vapor and air would ignite without a spark or flame. There is no direct correlation between explosive properties and ignition temperature. Therefore, materials can have the same physical properties and similar explosive properties while having ignition temperatures that vary greatly. The ignition temperature is affected by the chemical properties of the flammable liquid. When a flammable liquid is in its liquid state, it will not ignite. It will only burn when in its gaseous state. In addition to ignition temperature, other properties associated with the flammability of a liquid are its flash point, flammable range, and vapor density. The flash point is the temperature at which a flammable liquid vaporizes and is therefore able to ignite. Liquids with a flash point under 40 °C are considered combustible liquids. Gasoline has a flash point of about -45 °C. The flammable range of a liquid is the ratio of the flammable liquid to air that would create a volatile mixture. The flammability range of gasoline is between 1.4 and 7.6%. If the ratio of gasoline to air is less than 1.4%, then the mixture is to thin to burn. The mixture cannot burn when it contains more than 7.6% gasoline because it is too rich to burn. The vapor density is the weight of a vapor relative to the weight of air. The vapor density of gasoline is heavier than air and therefore will sink when in air.

Exactly. The reactors could get that hot, if they weren't cooled. Of course, by the time the reactor got that hot, there wouldn't be a reactor - just a pile of molten slag.

Everyone has their own way to celebrate Father's Day, but some families went out of their way to break tradition.

Close to 2,000 people made their way to the Mustang gun range to show their love by firing automatic weapons.

Under Nevada's open gun laws, it is legal to shoot machine guns. And fathers, sons, and shooting enthusiasts in general, had an opportunity to shoot fully automatic weapons like AK-47s, M-60's, and Uzi's.

While it may not be a traditional Fathers Day event, for Matt and Andy Polehman it was all about being together on this special day. "My dad and I have this saying, it doesn't matter what we do as long as we do it together."

If you missed Sunday's shoot, don't worry, the range will host another one this October.

Illegal Aliens Force Marine Training Range To Shut Down 500 Times Since July 2004

Virtually every Marine squadron headed to Iraq or Afghanistan receives combat training at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, which for nearly 40 miles touches the US-Mexico border in the southwestern corner of Arizona. The Border Patrol's focus in recent years on tightening the border in the eastern part of the state, where volunteer citizens this month have established their own observation posts, has pushed more undocumented immigrants westward.

Since July 2004, the training range has been shut down more than 500 times because of immigrants spotted on the range, causing a loss of more than 1,100 training hours, said Colonel James J. Cooney, the base's commanding officer.

"That's equivalent to almost 46 days of training. We're getting overrun here," he said in an interview. "Any moment we take away from a Marine's experience base could cost him his life in combat."

Cooney said Marines intercepted more than 1,500 undocumented immigrants on the training range last year and, in the first three months of this year, more than 1,100. Base personnel detain the immigrants and call in Border Patrol agents to pick them up.

Another big concern, he said, is the potential danger to undocumented immigrants: "We just don't want them to come here, because we're firing lasers, we're shooting machine guns, we're shooting 209-millimeter cannons, and we're dropping practice bombs, and we don't want to hurt anyone [Why not? - Digger]."

Last summer a Marine pilot dropped a practice bomb on a target and seconds later, a few feet away, a small group of illegal immigrants scrambled from underneath a bush and ran down the range. The near miss was caught on a training tape that Cooney has reviewed.

There is some concern that, besides wandering immigrants, foreign terrorists could cross the Mexican border and infiltrate the Arizona bases to conduct intelligence gathering or commit acts of sabotage. (That's the purpose of CIA/Pentagon's Operation NORTHWOODS, for Pentagon to hire enemy soldiers to attack US military bases.)

"The potential exists, and that is a key reason we are vigilant about securing our training ranges," Cooney said.

Gotta love our border policy.

We are all affected by illegal immigration, can anyone answers these questions?

With the documentation process in place, why would a person risk life to sneak across when all they would need is a pen blue/or black ink to complete forms and no risk of life involved.

2. I have traveled to mexico several times, I have found beautiful homes in the Mazatlan and Peuorto Viartia area that once was owned by americans, these properties were seized by the Mexican Government.. why, the owners (americans) were not Mexican citizens and are not entitled to so much land? Has this situation been corrected or are illegals thinking they are entitled to their cake and eat it too while American Citizens are kicked in the teeth everywhere.

3. I have been reading about crime problems, rapes, murders and drug trafficing how much is really caused by illegal immigrants?

4. Speaking as a Merchant Marine, I know from personal experience that our shipping industry has gone foreign flag, why, its cheaper to hire foreigners to sail commerically than a U.S. Merchant Marine. we attend training which is costly, we follow rules and regulations and EPA and other IMO regulations. Two Commerical ships collided off Japan last week and Sank, no crew were killed but businesses are now suffering for their lost goods, why, both ships had foreign crews and no one knew how to conduct themselves, and save their ships.. again training.. and now two ships sunk, and millions of dollars lost.

5. in regards to 4. The Cruise line is also a problem spot, recent months have dotted the news with disappearences, a honeymooner off turkey, a 15 year old girl, a college graduate, and other rapes and crimes.. why, again, cheaper to hire a foreigner and pay well below the standards and not have to worry about government rules or enforcement.

6. finally, I have heard on many talk shows on satillite, that illegal immigrants pay taxes.. can anyone answer how? If you buy a forged Social Security Number, I.D. and other forged documents, how do you file a tax return on those documents? How does an employer continue to deduct when, I know this from my Ex-Wife, her SSN was miss typed, and after she filed her taxes, she got an audit for that social. It didn't get accepted by the IRS, so, can anyone answer that, I am dying to get an answer.. our Identity data base has changed so much in 20 years, you can't hide for long and if you are here illegally, I doubt you would risk being exposed.. if you put your life in such jeparody to trek through a desert, why would you do the same filing taxes.. and if they are deducted taxes,, well its a fack number, where does the money go? if not in their account which does not exsist.. then were?

Merchant Marine,

I can answer the last question. Illegals use ligitimate SSN so they pass through the system. Apparently the IRS knows that there is a problem because of muliple people filing on the same SSN but generally doesn't have the manpower to sort it out. Illegals using a stolen SSN can screw with the legit SSN owners credit rating. It is unclear if the victim of SSN theft is credited with the extra SS payments that are made under alternate names using their SSN.

This was from a local investigative report from one of our Dallas TV stations on a woman who was audited repeatedly by the IRS because her SSN was used in multiple places...

Executives, workers arrested in nationwide move against pallet maker

MSNBC-GE
April 19, 2006

WASHINGTON - Immigration agents arrested seven executives and hundreds of employees of a manufacturer of crates and pallets Wednesday as part of a crackdown on employers of illegal workers.

Authorities raided offices and plants of IFCO Systems in at least eight states, the culmination of a yearlong criminal investigation, law enforcement officials said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested seven current and former IFCO Systems managers on charges they conspired to transport, harbor and encourage illegal workers to reside in the United States for commercial advantage and private financial gain, said Glenn T. Suddaby, the chief federal prosecutor in Albany, N.Y., where some arrests were made.

ICE spokeswoman Jamie Zuieback confirmed an unspecified number of raids and arrests but declined to provide additional details because the investigation was continuing. One official, speaking on condition of anonymity because numbers were still being tallied, said the arrests were in the hundreds.

Raids across the U.S.

Raids took place at several locations in upstate New York and in Biglerville, Pa.; Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati, Houston, Phoenix, Richmond, Va., and Westborough, Mass.

"ICE has no tolerance for corporate officers who harbor illegal aliens for their work force. Today's nationwide enforcement actions show how we will use all our investigative tools to bring these individuals to justice, no matter how large or small their company," said ICE chief Julie Myers.

She and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff are expected on Thursday to lay out an immigration enforcement strategy that targets employers' disregard for immigration law.

Last week, operators of three restaurants in Baltimore pleaded guilty to similar immigration charges, while nine people affiliated with two temporary employment agencies that do business in New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania were charged in a $5.3 million scheme involving the employment and harboring of illegal aliens.

Several immigration proposals pending in Congress would stiffen penalties against employers who hire illegal immigrants.

Company based in Germany

German-based IFCO Systems describes itself as the leading pallet services company in the United States, focusing on recycling millions of the wooden platforms used to stack and move all manner of goods. It operates about five dozen facilities nationwide and has been expanding steadily, according to the company's Web site.

IFCO Systems did not immediately return calls seeking comment Wednesday.

The current and former IFCO Systems managers arrested were identified by Suddaby as: Michael Ames, 44, Shrewsbury, Mass.; Robert Belvin, 43, Clifton Park, N.Y.; Abelino Chicas, 40, Houston; Scott Dodge, 43, Albany; William Hoskins, 29, Cincinnati; James Rice, 36, Houston, and Dario Salzano, 36, Amsterdam, N.Y.

Last year, Wal-Mart stores agreed to pay $11 million to settle allegations concerning the employment and mistreatment of illegal immigrants.

Wal-Mart has maintained that top executives did not know that cleaning contractors were hiring illegal immigrants, who sometimes slept in the backs of stores. An ICE affidavit unsealed as part of that case, however, asserted that two executives were aware of the practice.

I wonder why the TeeVee news forgot to mention that over 10,000 employees of US Dept of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration are illegal aliens, working as airport screeners, to strip search every US citizen traveling by airliner? Those 10,000 illegal aliens were suing US Govt in class action to keep their jobs, with no attempt to arrest them and deport them. The illegal alien security screeners mainly worked in the airports allegedly involved in the 9/11 attacks...

ILLEGALS RAIDS EXPOSE LINKS TO CARLYLE GROUP

April 21, 2006

The news today stated that the illustrious Department of Homeland Security launched raids all over the country that arrested 100s of undocumented migrants working for IFCO Systems, a Dutch/German Company that makes pallets and plastic containers for shipping and transportation purposes.

The raids had an undoubtedly unexpected side effect. IFCO is very close to the Texas Republican political establishment. Neo-Confederate Governor Perry appointed a IFCO executive to the Workmens Compensation to be the "EMPLOYER COMMISSIONER" for the Workman's Compensation Commission on March 10, 2003. The new Commissioner's term will expire February 1, 2009.

Michael Hachtman of Houston , one of the cities targeted in the raids, is the Vice President of all things Business Development for IFCO Systems North America Inc.

It is the largest pallet company in the United States. He is also the former chief of staff at the Texas Railroad Commission. He was confirmed by the Republican dominated Texas Senate.

Maybe this explains why the current administration NEVER targets employers of illegal aliens until now, when they have been forced to by political pressure from the Democrats and now on the first time up to bat they stepped on their own Johnson. Such is life....

In 2003 87% of IFCO's stock was purchased by APAX Partners, another of those mushrooming "private equity firms". www.palletenterprise.com/articledatabase/view.asp?articleID=1144 .

APAX partners is run by a SIR Ronald Cohen Knight of the British Empire until mid-2005. The other leader in the firm is french and an advisor to the International Finance Corporation, the "commercial arm of the World Bank" now run by Paul Wolfowitz.

I'm sick and tired of our treasonous Gov't heeding to the ideology of the New World Order! What happened to the 'War on Terrorism', that Bush spoke of, so eloquently, in the aftermath of 9/11? That was and is a BOLD face lie! If true then why hasn't he provided those extra 2000 Border Patrol agents that were funded 2 to 3 years ago by Congress? Also, why is he trying to give amnesty to the 11 million illegals already here?
There is a plan by the banking cartel, ie the Fed, Trilateral Commission, Bilderbergers, Council on Foreign Relations, Rothchilds, etc., to turn the good ole U.S. of A in to a third world country. It is planned to be called the American Union (Canada, U.S.A. and Mexico). They found out the only way to do so is to open up the borders and allow illegal aliens to enter and bankrupt our country! I have no problem with someone who comes to our country the right way, by immigration processes, and legally becoming a citizen.
Does anyone else realize that in Mexico it is a felony to be in their country as an ilegal alien? Ding, ding, where is the hypocrisy here? Our government is letting this happen and in turn we are going to have another protest march on the 1st of May, by illegal aliens who should not have the right to be authorized a parade request, enabling them to legally march and protest! This will eventually lead to civil unrest and then unfortunately a civil war within the confines of our own country. Do you honestly think your jobs are safe when the money-hungry Corporations start replacing you with illegals?
Wake up America and contact your Congressmen /Senators with tons of e-mails and phone calls, before it is too late!

I just couldn't let the DU issue go. (Sorry folks) Turns out that PN is half right. Uranium- when finely divided- will ignite when heated to fairly low temps. But if not finely divided, it can be milled like any other metal.

I was curious why anyone would want to "sabot" a round. What would be the purpose of jacketing a round anyway? It turns out that tanks fire two kinds of rounds- some with explosives and some without. The "without" rounds depend on momentum and shape (long, narrow, pointed, heavy) for penetration- like an arrow. DU is usually used. But being too narrow for the bore, the round is jacketed to stabilize it in the cannon. What you see burning at the end of the round is simply the charge.

You can add the Carlyle Group, Mitsubishi, BP- Arco- Texaco- Chevron- Exxon- Mobil- Shell- Elf Aquitaine, every clothing manufacturer, Cargill, every pharma... Citizen-built border fence gains steam

Activists solicit help from ranchers, donors, state lawmakers

April 26, 2006
WorldNetDaily.com

Taking matters into their own hands, some activists are working to build a fence along the nearly 2,000-mile U.S. southern border – with or without government participation.

Using the slogan "American Citizens Securing the Borders Themselves," The Border Fence Project hopes to raise enough money to build a fence along 90 percent of the U.S.-Mexico border that currently has no physical barrier.
www.borderfenceproject.com

According to the effort's website, the "fencing solution" will include the use of near-wholesale raw materials and use volunteer labor to build the structure.

Leaders from both parties in Washington have been reluctant to advocate a fence along the entire border, with some saying a "virtual fence" using high-tech surveillance equipment and drones can do the job of stemming illegal immigration.

States the Border Fence Project website: "Because Washington officials have consistently shown apprehension and outright consternation of the idea of a complete fence, it is unlikely they will ever cooperate, assuming the public continues to vote for special-interest candidates. Furthermore, most estimates show that because of the inefficiency of government labor and high markup on raw materials, the cost is likely to run $9 billion, only 23 percent of the Department of Homeland Security annual budget, but enough to receive grief from the open-borders lobby.

"We know we the civilian volunteers, in cooperation with Minuteman-like groups already on the border, can do the job for 1/400 of that cost!"

The organization, led by Jim Wood of Running Springs, Calif., believes an effective fence can be built for between $1.50 and $4 a foot. It would consist of a barbed-wire fence guarded by "solar motion lights with sirens, other motion sensors, electronic sensors that determine if the wire has been cut and a television-camera-unit for up to every quarter-mile of fencing depending on landscape," the site states.

Last week, Chris Simcox, leader of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, a civilian border patrol group, said if the government was not going to build a fence, volunteers would do so.
www.minutemanhq.com

''We're going to show the federal government how easy it is to build these security fences, how inexpensively they can be built when built by private people and free enterprise,'' Simcox told the Associated Press.

Meanwhile, an Arizona state lawmaker is proposing legislation to allow ranchers who lease state land along the border to build fencing on government property.

State Rep. Russell Pearce told KVOA-TV the bill is still being drafted.

"I'm interested in helping to do that," Pearce said. "We don't have authority over federal land but we do over state land."

Simcox, who hopes to begin the fence project May 25, says he is supportive of the proposed legislation.

Minuteman spokeswoman Connie Hair called the response to the fence proposal unbelievable – "people wanting to donate, to help build a fence, people wanting a fence on their land," according to AP.

Said Simcox on the Minuteman website: "We have chosen a fence design that is based on the Israeli fences in Gaza and on the West Bank that have cut terrorist attacks there by 95 percent or more. In order to be effective, a fence should not be easy to compromise by climbing over it with a ladder, cutting through it with wire cutters, ramming it with a vehicle, or tunneling under it undetected."

The design includes a double fence with a six-foot trench on both sides and surveillance cameras. Simcox says the fence would cost no more than $150 a foot.

Border-area ranchers have long been active in opposing illegal immigration, since the entrants often vandalize their property and commit other crimes as they make their way north.

Meanwhile, www.WeNeedAFence.com, a leading organization in the effort to erect a fence, is hailing recent comments by Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., supporting a physical barrier on the border.

"A physical structure is obviously important. A wall in certain areas would be appropriate," Clinton is quoted by the New York Daily News as saying.

"We commend Senator Clinton for supporting a secure physical barrier along our southern border," said WeNeedAFence.com President Colin Hanna. "We welcome the opportunity to work with senators on both sides of the aisle to build consensus in favor of a state-of-the-art border fence."
