BERLIN (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush told a German newspaper his best moment in more than five years in office was catching a big perch in his own lake.

And here, some of you thought it was all bad. Bush is out there leading. You know the saying. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day...teach the man to fish...

ah, progress is happening all over the place.

A similar saying explains Bush's policy to citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq (and soon, Iran): build a man a fire and he is warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he is warm for the rest of his life.

Yeah,

I think the Parrot is the official bird of the Republican party. There's no such thing as a jail-bird right? So Bush should at least recognize that.

Whew,

Finally a paper that wants to focus on the good things that are happening. finally a paper that takes its cues from the administration and reports not just all that 'sky is falling' crap, but the real accomplishments.

Well it doesn't say that he called in an air strike on the lake and then just picked up the biggest one that floated to the surface, but he certainly is improving.

The nerve gas made the Fish taste funny the last time.

I wanna hear the Neo-con spin on this one...

"Well, he didn't lie!"

That is seriously appalling. Maybe AURaptor's right, maybe the guy never does lie; maybe he's just completely walled off from anything that matters in the real world. If the truth falls into W.'s head, does it make a sound?

What was SignyM's signature line again? Oh yeah...

Hey, hey, hey, don't be mean. We don't have to be mean, because, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

In the words of the great Ronald Regan,[/] There you go again.
Everything's an opportunity for the ad-hominum attack. Aren't we funny. You Bush-haters always bring up the bad (and there is some, to be sure), and leave out the good that will be recognized with the gift of hindsight.

*The many pictures taken after important events with our President in the foreground- suitable for framing.

*The bringing about of total acceptance of mediocre mentality, now even really stupid people feel like they have a shot at being President.

*The new WMD urban legend- fun and scary to talk about 'round the fire at campouts.

*The new and lasting enemy...Middle Eastern Terrorists. They won't simply vanish like those wussies, the Russians. No, they're here to stay, and they're WAY more eviler, and as such do an excellent job of defining just how GOOD we are.

Some day you'll all realize just what a patriot GW is, and what he's done to...I mean for, this country!

Bush Son Had Dinner Plans With Hinckley Brother Before Shooting

The Associated Press
Domestic News
March 31, 1981

HOUSTON - The family of the man charged with trying to assassinate President Reagan is acquainted with the family of Vice President George Bush and had made large contributions to his political campaign, the Houston Post reported today.

Quote:

Scott Hinckley, brother of John W. Hinckley Jr., who allegedly shot Reagan, was to have dined tonight in Denver at the home of Neil Bush, one of the vice president's sons.

The newspaper said in a copyright story, Scott Hinckley, brother of John W. Hinckley Jr., who allegedly shot Reagan, was to have dined tonight in Denver at the home of Neil Bush, one of the vice president's sons.

The newspaper said it was unable to reach Scott Hinckley, vice president of his father's Denver-based firm, Vanderbilt Energy Corp., for comment. Neil Bush lives in Denver, where he works for Standard Oil Co. of Indiana.

In 1978, Neil served as campaign manager for his brother, George W. Bush, the vice president's oldest son, who made an unsuccessful bid for Congress. Neil lived in Lubbock throughout much of 1978, where John Hinckley lived from 1974 through 1980.

On Monday, Neil Bush said he did not know if he had ever met 25-year-old John Hinckley.

Quote:

From what I know and I've heard, they (the Hinckleys) are a very nice family and have given a lot of money to the Bush campaign."
-SHARON BUSH

"I have no idea," he said. "I don't recognize any pictures of him. I just wish I could see a better picture of him.

Sharon Bush, Neil's wife, said Scott Hinckley was coming to their house as a date of a girl friend of hers.

"I don't even know the brother. From what I know and I've heard, they (the Hinckleys) are a very nice family and have given a lot of money to the Bush campaign. I understand he was just the renegade brother in the family. They must feel awful," she said.

The dinner was canceled, she added.

George W. Bush said he was unsure whether he had met John W. Hinckley.

He returned home to his parents' house in Evergreen, Colorado, before the year was out. According to the March 31, 1981, edition of the Houston Post, and reported by AP, UPI, NBC News and Newsweek, Hinckley is the son of one of George H.W. Bush's better supporters in his 1980 presidential primary campaign against Ronald Reagan; John Hinckley Sr.'s Vanderbilt Energy had been threatened with a $2 million fine the morning of the assassination attempt. John Jr.'s older brother, Scott Hinckley, and Neil Bush had a dinner appointment for the next day.

Evergreen Aviation was shown on History Channel TV this week, "Boneyard", at Davis Moth(m)an AFB, officially spraying chemtrails on America from 747 tankers, during "forest fires" and "biological attacks".
