Actually Rapty the party name is The Democratic Party. For proof I offer their website http://www.democrats.org/ Democrats is the plural term for members of that party. Are you an Iranian terrorist who promises to kill as many Jews as you can? Cause if so I think you can count on just about any of the Democrats to make sure you can own all the guns you want...bigger the better. If your a Jew looking for self defense or an American looking to hunt...your out of luck. H

Look him up, check his voting record and his history, you'll see what I mean, he's like a second coming of the founding fathers, I think you'd like him. I damn sure would vote for him, and that's sayin somethin. http://www.house.gov/paul/ -Frem

That's a pretty damn funny assessment of the gang so far...I was going to go thru the list myself with disdained mocking, but I will cede this to yours. My opinion on the outcome of the Democrat nomination is that over the next 16 months Hillary & Obama will pull way ahead of the crowd, and by the time their convention is held in August 2008 Hillary will have it locked up. BUT....It's gonna be a real blast watching them all attempt to DESTROY eachother in the process...just like they always do....destroy eachother so much that they weaken the final candidate for the Presidential election in Novemebr 2008....New Hampshire & Iowa in early 2008 will weed out the wannabees, but psychos like 'Lil Denny Kucinich will always be there telling America that HE and HE alone can save the country....and then another fun part of politics is when the Dems are done ripping eachother apart and they have a candidate...then they go after the Republican nominee...and everyone hugs, kisses, and makes up...as if to say All those horrible things I've been calling you for 18 months don't matter...help support me to defeat the evil Repubs. I'm still waiting to see the other "regulars" declare their candidacy like : Al Sharpton Carol Mosley Braun Wesley Clark Joe Lieberman Gebhart Gore Daschle Biden Kennedy etc etc Hell..I want that stage in August 2008 just all filled up( like in 2004)up with these self-centered, do-nothing millionnaire politicians!....great entertainment!

Quote: "Mr. Speaker, my subject today is whether America is a police state. If we are, what are we going to do about it? Most police states, surprisingly, come about through the democratic process with majority support. The masses are easily led to believe that security and liberty are mutually exclusive, and demand for security far exceeds that for liberty. Our government already keeps close tabs on just about everything we do and requires official permission for nearly all of our activities. One might take a look at our Capitol for any evidence of a police state. We see: barricades, metal detectors, police, military soldiers at times, dogs, ID badges required for every move, vehicles checked at airports and throughout the Capitol. The people are totally disarmed, except for the police and the criminals. But worse yet, surveillance cameras in Washington are everywhere to ensure our safety. Like gun control, people control hurts law-abiding citizens much more than the law-breakers. Centralized control and regulations are required in a police state. Not only do we need a license to drive, but we also need special belts, bags, buzzers, seats and environmentally dictated speed limits. Or a policeman will be pulling us over to levy a fine, and he will be toting a gun for sure. Let's reject the police state." —Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, MD (R-TX, 1988 Libertarian Party candidate for President), speech in House of Representatives, United States Congress, "Are We Doomed To Be a Police State?"
