Just get down with the bedrock basics, guy, basic use and manufacture of tools, and how to fix stuff.

I started with small engine repair and appliance repair, both of which can be self-taught easy enough, with a side order of basic carpentry, and it's kind of an exponential thing for the mindset we seem to share, each step becomes easier basing off the last one.

I think that, for you, the hardest part is going to be getting over and past having been told all your life that you are worthless/clueless/have no aptitude, by people more interested in feeding their egos than giving a shit about you.

Once you lose that mental boat anchor, a whole new world of possibility will open to you, but there's no easy way to do it, just start small, and believe in your successes, is all.

Learning how to fix things, you learn how they work, and eventually it becomes an intuitive process and you can BUILD anything you can figure out, and then yer there, more or less.
