Sarah Palin has issued a statement about the SNL skit

Apparently she found it quite funny and more than a little ironic as she went to a Halloween party last year as Tina Fey...

I also seen a comparison between her and Dick Cheney, if she shoots you in the face, she meant to do it

I'm thinking she must be the American version of Kim Campbell.....

Put in charge out of the blue so that anyone who important in the party won't be splattered by the feces of a lost cause election.

Same with McCain, if he didn't get the nod now, I doubt he would be a candidate next time anyway.

Next election the NEW Republican party will rise from the grave of the old, with the same sad cast who offered up this sacrifice in the here and now.

Just my opinion

Lets party like its 1939

Since there apparently isn't anything that this campaign doesn't lie about, we can take the truth to be that she was offended by the skit and didn't go to a Halloween party last year as Tina Fey ...

That was one of the best opening skits I've seen in quite some time from SNL. And yes, Tina Fey is awesome!

The best line was when Amy (as Hilary) says "and the Bush Doctrine" and Tina says "Don't know it" - ZING! And then posing as though she had a shotgun - classic!

Tina Fey glasses anyone?

Come out to the porch and you could see Putin making breakfast. Hey, look at me, I just did Foreign Policy. Wheeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Shiny! Let's be bad guys!

Glad she took the time to get Palin's accent down as well. A damn near clone of the Gov, is she.

I've always prayed the Republican party would do whatever it took to need a grave. I feel warm and fuzzy now just thinking about it. I've just gotta figure out how to make em' stay in it. I do honestly feel sorry for George Bush though, I really do. Those Republicans who voted for him twice then made him walk the plank are...well.......McCain/Palin supporters, this month...I guess.

She better hope McCain-Palin win so she can continue doing her Palin impersination, because if they do'nt she's back to a low rated sitcom and making movies nobody wants to see, in other words "HASBEEN"!

I think she's more than willing to retire the Palin persona if they lose.

As for her "low-rated sitcom" and being a has-been, I think you've got her confused with Bill O'Reilly.

Sometimes she nails the accent , other times it sounds very Wisconsin-y...

Must be the varying degrees of nasality ?

If you want to pick on low-rated, critically acclaimed TV shows, you've picked the wrong website.

Let me guess, Tina Fey did her Sarah Palin act, am I rite? Palin looked stupid and Biden looked great, am I rite? Like I've said earlier, the only press this skinny bitch gets is for her Palin act, if McCain-Palin lose, she'll be doing Dinner Theater in Florida in no time.

SNL has been equally brutal to both sides in this. Groaners all around.

That other show wins alot of awards but has low ratings, without Palin she'll get little press.

She's just scary good at doing Palin. I'd be surprised if Tina doens't vote for McCain and Palin , just so she'll have steady work for the next 12 years.

Whozit, does any semblance of reality ever penetrate into your world?

Tina Fey is not doing Sarah Palin impersonations on SNL because she's a has-been and has nothing better to do. She was asked to come back on the show because they knew there was no one else who could do the parody as well as she could. You might not like "30 Rock" but it is a well-respected show that Tina not only stars on, but she is also the head writer and executive producer. She also just signed a $6 million dollar contract for a book, so I don't think she's gonna be hurting even when McPalin loses next month.
