KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE - When Knoxville Police found 25-year-old Richard Anthony Smith, they say he was trapped in an air duct about 45 feet below the roof of the Knoxville Museum of Art.

Unusual enough.

But it's what he said next--"Mission failed"--that would launch a tale of intrigue.

With help from the Knoxville Fire Department, officers pulled Smith from the air duct without injury. Then they asked him what he was doing.

A police report indicates Smith said he was a "special agent with the United States Illuminati, badge number 0931."

His mission?

One from "Director Womack," to "defuse and confiscate a Soviet-made MERV6SS-22AN warhead, with 14.5 kg of enriched uranium and a plutonium trigger, capable of delivering a 40-kiloton yield."

Police say Smith believed the device was concealed in a blue, plastic cow sculpture in the basement of the museum.

Smith was the first to tell police he was off-course however--the police report indicates he got a phone call from his "agency" while in the air duct, saying they had made a mistake, as the bomb is supposed to be hidden in a museum in Memphis.

"thank goodness he had a cell phone and was able to call 9-1-1 and got out without getting injured because it could have turned out much worse," says KMA Executive Director David Butler.

"You know everyone is laughing about it, and obviously concerned about this guy and his well being and it was a serious situation and we had to handle it as such," says Darrell DeBusk with the Knoxville Police Report.

The police report indicates Smith said he rappeled onto the roof from a CH2 Huey, but police believe he stood on an ash tray to get onto the stepped-design portion of the roof.

Smith called 911 himself, just before 4:30 Wednesday morning. He faces a charge of aggravated burglary.

Easy win for a lawyer by insanity defense. Of course the public defenders will plead him guilty for a Big Brother paycheck.

Khyron, the "loud little handful" is never quite as numerous as their passionate shrieking would imply, it's only the apathy of the greater bulk of people that allows them to get their way on occasion.

It's my impression that most mainstream folk are actually pretty pissed at em, quietly, in a disappointingly blase kinda way, but pissed all the same - folks are tired of the endless round and round of doom, gloom, and fearmongering, and are just waiting them out, or have thrown in the towel on the whole process as so corrupt it's essentially useless.

But in the end, that's all they are, is just a loud little handful, trying to make up in volume what they lack in numbers, and to fall for that is a geniune mistake because it empowers and encourages them, especially in an era where moral courage is so lacking and folks flock to one side or the other in fear of it's power over them.

That's what enabled McCarthy, and that's what enabled these Neocon sumbitches too.

You start taking them seriously, they might start taking themselves seriously, and as history shows that's a damn dangerous and destructive thing.

Engler already did for that when he fucked over the cab industry, and it's not like I always manage to put food on the table even now, although as of late due to gas prices I'm makin a better buck off repairing scooters.

In their pathetic dreams, it's far, far too late to do that, till they find a way to take back something people have already heard and taken to heart, there's no way in hell, and as long as a single person holding those ideals still breathes, they'll spread and grow anytime they're planted in a mind open enough to accept them.

Make an example of me ?
Oh they could try, but I rather doubt it'd come out how they wish.

So in the end, they really got nothing to threaten me WITH, do they ?

So why the hell should I be afraid of them, especially when it's so very clear that this is exactly what they desire ?

And so I ridicule them, openly mock them, laugh right in their faces and encourage others do to the same, and by that action weaken them, take the only weapon they really have and jam it right back through their teeth - because the one thing they fear, the one thing that hurts them the worst, is not taking them seriously, it removes their ability to frighten and influence others.

Considering some of the work I do, believe me, I could list in pretty specific detail what kinks each of the neocons specifically have, but I am pretty sure no one really *wants* to know, hell *I* don't wanna know, but it comes with the territory.

I do find it kind of ironic that Shrub is actually considerably less perverse than his father, in that respect he's kinda the diet coke of depravity.

Faber ROTC reminded me of my cousins who married Army ROTC grads. It really seemed nutty to hear them discuss the beauty of Gatlin Guns firing 6,000 grenades per second. Both wives got Gulf War Syndrome in Army hospitals, as a side effect of socialized medicine. They both went from beautiful hot women to anorexic old hags with permanent disability (no pension though). Those were really effed-up marriages, 1 divorce - coked up officer, bombed his own car in Germany at the BX as part of Operation Gladio.

Mikey, there's a reason for this username, if you dig deep into historical useage of the term, quite similar in application to Condottiero and with the same implications.
