Aside from Philadelphia, has anyone noticed how creepy quiet this election day has been.

A few normal glitches and such here and there...but no BIG news. Its like everybody is quietly waiting for tonight. A national holding of breathe or that quiet summer day with the dark horizon and promise of thunder far in the distance.

But free chick-fil-a with my 'I voted' sticker.

I'm quoting the great Peter Griffin, why do'nt you tune into MSNBC, open a nice bottle of wine and enjoy watching your guy win tonight, while I have to settle for a rerun of HOUSE on the USA Network.

Because I don't want to start a new thread for this, I'll put it here. Polls done in 2006:

Because, no matter which way it goes, after I get out of work at 18:00 and vote (how long will that take, I wonder) I have to shop and cook for the week ahead and get laundry together.

To be fair, chaos will abound no matter which one gets the Prez's seat. Hopefully we won't get blown up, though

It's bugging me
grating me
and twisting me around

yeah I'm endlessly
caving in
and turning inside out

because I want it now
I want it now
give me your heart and your soul
and I'm breaking out
I'm breaking out
last chance to lose control

Yeah, god forbid that pre-election polls, exit polls and voting results match each other. It's a sure sign the election's been stolen.

Do you know anything about the federal statute that supposedly prohibits this kind of incentive for voting?

Every expected red state went McCain's way, every expected blue state went Obama's way, every "leaning" state went the way it was leaning - now THAT is how you "steal" an election!
