While we never got an actual admission of it's toxicity, Aspartame has been pretty much run out of town on a rail, and I think following up the same way on HFCS will be in the end, more effective than trying to outlaw or ban it.

I am not a capitalist, but consumer ire has it's place, if folks won't buy your product cause it has HFCS in it, a wise company will then adapt, or die.

Or try to rename it something else like they do with MSG, something which isn't working as well as they had planned.

Anyhow, a good sign.
