RL, it's ONLY "the endless back and forth insults with profanity and vulgarity between some here" that I abhor, not the differences of opinion. I, too, think such would be a healthy reflection of the country and would LOVE to have discussions with those with opposing views. But the former seems to have taken over almost completely, and that's what I decry.

Cav: Gosh, I hope you're right. I'm not going yet, I've decided to hang on (tho' less) and try to post things of relevance or interest to counteract some of the hostility. I have no doubt "they" will come in and threadjack those as well, but it's something. Mostly, I hope with all my heart you're right and the pendulum will swing. This used to be a fantastic place when I first came, and for a long time thereafter.
