Thanks to the Fukushima catastrophe, we've all been learning a lot about the laws of physics lately -- especially about radiation. To help explain it all, the folks over at InformationIsBeautiful.com have created a radiation explanation chart that shows the relative levels of harm from various doses of radiation (link below).

The InformationIsBeautiful website is pretty cool. The folks there specialize in making complex data visually interesting. I've admired some of their work for quite some time.

So I was checking out their new "Radiation Dosage Chart" which explained all the effects of receiving radiation doses of various levels. The chart revealed things like:

• 100 mSv Annual dose at which increased lifetime cancer risk if evident
• 250 mSv Dose limit for US radiation workers in life-saving operations
• 1,000 mSv Temporary radiation sickness. Nausea, low blood count. Not fatal.

As I read down the chart, things got really interesting.

• 2,000 mSv Severe radiation poisoning
• 4,000 mSv Extremely severe dose - survival possible
• 5,000 mSv Extremely severe radiation dose - high chance of fatality
• 6,000 mSv Usually fatal dose
• 10,000 mSv Fatal dose

And then, right there on the chart, the very next line was a huge eye-opener, because it said:

• 20,000 mSv Highly targeted dose used in cancer radiotherapy

Cancer radiotherapy dose is fatal?

Okay, so wait a minute. A dose of 10,000 is fatal, yet the cancer industry uses twice that dose to "treat" cancer? I knew cancer radiation treatments were barbaric, but I never knew they were twice the amount considered absolutely fatal.

This outcome was so intriguing that I took a screen capture of the chart. That's what you're seeing at: http://www.naturalnews.com/images/r...

The next day, I went back to the InformationIsBeautiful.net website to make sure I really saw what I thought I saw. After all, if cancer radiotherapy is being given at 20,000 mSv, that's a pretty big story, especially in light of the Fukushima fallout and the increasing radiation burden on populations everywhere. So I brought up the website, and guess what?

The 20,000 mSv cancer radiotherapy line had been removed from the chart...

"The most stunning statistic, however, is that the total number of deaths caused by conventional medicine is an astounding 783,936 per year. It is now evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the US. Using Leape's 1997 medical and drug error rate would add another 216,000 deaths, for a total of 999,936 deaths annually. Our estimated 10-year total of 7.8 million iatrogenic* deaths is more than all the casualties from all the wars fought by the US throughout its entire history. Our considerably higher figure is equivalent to six jumbo jets are falling out of the sky each day."

"Harold Shipman, the British family doctor who murdered more than 200 of his patients to become one of the worst serial killers of all time, hanged himself in his prison cell on the eve of his 58th birthday, prison officials said. Shipman was sentenced to life imprisonment in January 2000 for the murder of 15 female patients between 1975 and 1998, and faced no prospect of parole. Two years later an inquiry concluded that he was responsible for the deaths by lethal injection of at least another 200 mostly female and elderly patients at his greater Manchester area practice. Most of Shipman's victims died suddenly without having experienced any life-threatening symptoms. They were, by and large, elderly women who died after being given a lethal injection, usually of morphine, while Shipman visited them in their homes."

In 1940 David Rockefeller became a member of the Board of Trustees of The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, which had been established in 1901 by his grandfather, John D. Rockefeller. A decade later he succeeded his father as chairman of the Institute's Board of Trustees, serving in that capacity for 25 years (1950-1975). Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

It would seem obvious that a fatal dose of radiation is needed to kill cancer cells, which are alive. The 'highly targeted' part is important.

I would also point out that being carved up by a knife is also fatal. That's what they use to cut out cancer cells. A 'highly targeted' knife.

Poison is also fatal. That's what they use to poison cancer cells. A 'highly targeted' poison.

None of these methods is ideal. I'd much prefer the fruit of life or the fountain of youth, or any flavor of miracle.

If you know a good way to get rid of cancer without killing cells, please enlighten the world. And don't post about it here. Put it in a peer-reviewed medical publication.

DREAMTROVE

Anthony,

There's a serious amount of doubt in the medical community right now as to the efficacy of radiation therapy, even targeted.

My sister just went through this and I had it explained to me in some detail by the doctors, and did a fair amount of reading.

For what it's worth.

Doing it backwards. Walking up the downslide.

This is, by and large, a pointless thread, but Anthony being so sensible....

There are many types of research going right now that focus on targeting the hyperdivision of cancer cells; basically stop their out-of-control reproduction cycle. These things don't kill them directly, time does that, but if they can't spread and divide they will die a natural death. My girlfriend is a biologist, and she always gets excited about this or that new thing that looks like it might stop cancer cell division. Unfortunately, many of these only work with limited tissues, say the pancreas or the prostate, so don't work well on widespread cancers, which is what test cases have as a rule. She's always hoping for more targeted testing to see if there's any merit at all, but right now that's not really being done. She was telling me the other day about an exciting bit of research being done in Australia that can't be marketed as a treatment for cancer because late-stage cancer only responded nominally well to it, or somesuch. I'll see if she has a peer-reviewed link to the initial research, if you're interested. She almost never remembers which publication specific things are in, but I can always try.

Facts are stubborn things.

Hello,

It certainly sounds better than the cruder tacks taken in navigating cancer treatment.

I hope the development bears fruit.

Here's your peer reviews, no doctor required to cure many cancers -- just rub it on yourself and the cancer just falls off, no matter how big it is:

You can grow it and mix it yourself, if you don't want to buy it. Just don't put it on your nose or it will fall off...

Pot also cures cancer. So Uncle Scam -- the pathological-lying mass-murdering psychopathic heroin dealer -- arrests millions of sheeple for touching it. Never mind that the US Constitution was written on marijuana paper. Here's your peer reviews:
