I am disappointed and confused that you have formed an attachment to a member of the opposite sex.

This makes you weak.

I am pure, like Galahad, and high on lighter fluid, like Jesco White. That's why I have the strength of 10 dudes, and will find The Grail and piss in it while you make kissy faces with an icky girl.

Congratulations nonetheless.

DT a chara, I think Kane already made his Kanebabies, it sounds like he's all done, though I suppose he could change his mind.

Hey Kane, you definitely have improved in your conduct and I grant you that. I think the reason Signe is still mad at you, and I don't blame her in this particular instance if its the reason, is that you said nasty groty things about her daughter that made me want to hunt you down and slash you. I think if you can stop doing that she'll eventually not be as irritable towards you.

I just see a troubled soul in M, and K, rather than being an adult and showing genuine love and care, is enabling her over a cliff. It's difficult to say who is sicker and more dependent.

Aside from that Riona, what I see is Kaney still... STILL... whoring for attention here. Just in a different way. And as far as I can tell, he really doesn't give a rat's ass about his GF. The only thing he values about her is that she's fucked up enough to have sex with him. Eeewww! My impression is that Kaney is still all about Kaney.

And I mean, really, do I care that his dick is happy?

This isn't love, it's a sick co-dependency. Since neither Kaney nor his GF are even moderately functional as individuals, as far as I can tell, I predict (yep, another prediction!) that their situation will devolve into another booze-and-drug-filled haze, and that Kaney will be back to ethanol-fueled posting. Course, I could be wrong, but as far as Kaney is concerned I don't really care enough about being right or wrong. He's just not worth thinking about much and only rarely worth responding to. In fact, this whole thread has gotten WAAAAY more attention than it deserves, so since I think I've made myself 120% clear on how little I think of kaney, I'm not going to post here anymore.

Possibly. But some of his snark and venom has gone, maybe just temporarily. I'm thinking that sometimes a dose of humility about life when it doesn't go your way and some compassion from an unexpected quarter (kwicko) can really have an effect on a person.

I've seen it elsewhere, the troll becomes a regular poster, even if their posts still have that 'teetering on the edge of a mental health collapse' look.

I suppose we'll see.

**IF** K would ever come back and post about something other than his self-absorbed self-indulgence that would be quite a switch. But even now, with him in the throws of self-proclaimed 'love', what I see is this - a much older man with money focused on nothing beyond his penis, enabling a much younger self-destructive woman with zero life (and personal) skills and just as much resources. Unless something radical happens and ONE of them GROWS UP this does not look to end well. And the person who stands the best chance of coming out of this alive is K.

You come across as a very intelligent, reality-based person with some insight into yourself and others. Your CIRCUMSTANCES may have left you not being able to find a way out. But those circumstances changed for the better - due to love. I'm not sure K has any of those attributes. And AFAICanTell what he loves is that she IS self-destructive and dependent. Not traits one should enable and reward in a loved one, if you want to see that person live a long and happy life.

Maybe. Maybe that's all some people are capable of and who is to judge whether a relationship is constructive or destructive. From what I've learned most teeter between the two, and can be different at different times.

Most of us are rather primitive when it comes to choosing mates. I think mine smells nice. ;)

Ah - not from here. Let's see - she seems to be in and out of jail, doesn't have the money to bail herself out or hire a lawyer, has no close family or social support, doesn't seem to have the simple sense to avoid people she should legally avoid (aka mom), seems to get provoked into rages fairly easily (enough to end up in said jail), and sleeps around pretty much indiscriminately - I hope she insists on a condom, but you never know. Her only source of money and residence seems to be the men she sleeps with, who also bankroll her as a 'promoter'. That's the story I put together between K posting about his penis. If you call that taking care of yourself, you have an interesting definition.

Well they are 18 years apart, right on the edge of what I, personally consider acceptable and tollerable to my sensabilities. I'd never try to make a law or something that people further apart than that can't hook up, freedom and all, but I would discourage it. But they're right on the edge of my boundary so I can wish them well. They seem to be a good match since they're both ... that way, equally yoked as it were, they both like rutting with other people and all. Its better for them to be in a relationship with each other if they're going to do that then to be in relationships with ordinary folk who wouldn't tollerate that sort of behavior and would feel devistated when they found out their partner was cheating. I don't like her, but he does and that's what counts, they seem to fancy each other.

I'm glad for you - but that wasn't my concern. Your gf has a set of behaviors that will probably lead to an early death. Unless one is fantastically wealthy - and you are not and she is even less so - one can't spend one's entire life giving society the big fu. B/c it is so much bigger than her, or you. It will squeeze her out and roll over her without the smallest notice. And you will not be able to stop it.

So, the question is, not if you have changed, but if she has.
