Their early report said it crashed INTO the stands, but that does not seem to be the case. Still, pretty obvious that at least the pilot died when his modified WWII-era P-51 Mustang slammed into the ground. :(

ETA: It indeed does seem to be the case that the plane went into the grandstands.

Not sure on number of casualties, but reports are that at least 30 were seriously injured. Video shows the plane going straight down, nose-first, under what looks to be ful power.

ETA: New reports say that there are multiple fatalities, that "it looks like a bomb went off", and "there are people laying all over the runways" and "it looks like a massacre".

Bad scene all around. Hope it's not near as bad as early reports are saying.

Reports are getting worse and worse. Seems the plane DID crash into part of the grandstands, and they're saying the front part of the box seats was wiped out in that area. Dozens en route to hospital, they say - at least 40 so far.

Anthony, I'm curious: Why would you think anyone would mind your sentiment? It's YOURS, it doesn't impinge on what anyone else believes or feels, and if I had a god, I would pray the same. Just curious.

This is a terribly sad thing, I too hope those still alive recover and my heart aches for those who lost loved ones. Unfortunately: shit happens.

That's pretty amazing that only 3 died. Anthony, you can't let other people step on your right to pray, that's your right and if someone wants to piss about it they can piss into the wind. Who cares if they're offended, especially since it doesn't directly relate to them, unless we have someone around here who was there at the time or who has relatives that were, then it would relate more directly to them.
