It's just "stunt casting" to get people taking about it, it stars a bunch of pinkos and one of the writters co-wrote the HBO flick "Game Change". By the way, only 2.1 million people bothered to watch "Game Change" the Saturday night it was on.

I wont watch it, as I have zero interest in the subject - but I love the casting, just for pssing off so many wingnuts.

Oh, and Zit - that rating is pretty damned high for HBO (which, you may not be aware - is subscription based, not free to broadcast like the networks) and was their highest rated program in 8 years.

I think they're just fine with that. :)

Also, both Game Change, this and the very good Recount were all written by the Wehdonverse's own Danny Strong - AKA Jonathan.

So, we can indirectly thank Joss for helping these happen by giving Danny his start. :D

That's the best HBO can do in 8 years? I wouldn't bragg about that.

Of course you wouldn't, because you're a moron that doesn't understand the business model, as you've managed to show twice in 2 posts - well done!

Here, since you're slow - Ill try and make it simple for you... not everyone with cable gets HBO. They have to pay extra for it - and even then, it did better than just about any cable movie - ever. And that was just the first of several showings.

Im thinking HBO is very happy with how that came out even if the idiot bagel boy can't grasp the math.

Thus the quick order of a follow up from the saem team, or did you nopt get that either? Nevermind, of course you didn't.

This what I know about the industry, a first run episode of "SpongeBob Squrepants" gets better ratings then all the crap on HBO including that P.O.S. "Game Change".

That one always bugged me... " what " bombs at midnight ? How's that even make any sense ?

Now, Die Fledermaus... I liked what they tried to do there, in the animated series, but it didn't come off very well. I liked the live action adaptation, Bat Manuel. He had style. And he got friendly w/ Captain Liberty . Me-ow !

Umm, we ARE talkin about a character who re-counts conversation highlights between his own personalities, in the third person, to himself!
And you expect him to make ANY sense ?
Hell, that's what made him funny!

Isn't that a British usage? That's how I took it. From that one word, I can hear him talking in cockney. Is he supposed to be from England? Obviously I don't know the character or source at all.

Story, U r making that mistake again.

You are assuming that a rightie will allow facts, reason, and/or simple human thought enter into their arguments and attacks.

You should look to that.

Yeah, Newold I think so too. If one replaced "what" with "who", perhaps they'd understand it better.

That usage of the word "what" is nostalgic for me. When I was a little girl, before Rachie and I became close, I would run around a lot with her older brother, a grade ahead of me. He always used what in that sense, in place of who or in place of that. I've not seen anyone do it in so long, those are happy memories. When I turned eleven things were over between us, our friendship ended, but it would be two more years before I really bonded with Ru, she was still just an annoying spoiled brat, but since Tyler and I weren't friends anymore I was stuck playing with her.
But yeah, it was a gramatical quirk of his, he always went his own way.

I assume you're my pal until you let me know otherwise. "A completely coherant River means writers don't deliver" KatTaya

Hello,

Ratings for Game of Thrones, an acclaimed and much watched HBO series, ranged from 2-3 million per episode last season.

I'm afraid the Bagel has all your wits thrust upon it.
