Cause the GOP candidates were EVEN WORSE, case in point that fuckhead Snyder...
So it's not like you got any real choice most of the time, you wind up picking between slimy and corrupt (Democrats), or outright world-war-three wackjob fucking batshit crazy (Republicans), and thus over time this has turned Wayne County into something vaguely resembling a third-world Junta, to where the only effective option is to turn ones back on the Government and IGNORE them completely!

On the plus side, it's producing Anarchists by the dozens...

Sorry, but when you don't LIKE the results and keep re-voting it till you get the result you want, it makes the whole goddamn point of voter input a farce, but then the LP has been notorious for that ever since they installed Barr as their leader in defiance of the express wishes of 96% of their members at the time, most of whom didn't stay for long after that!

I have audio of it, but the listening devices were placed for other reasons and as such were badly configured for picking this up so the audio isn't that good, but it's amusing in a dark sorta way to listen to this bullshit.

Might as well have - it was downright farcical...

We had a vote on another tax-grab millage and city income tax attempt today, which of course in clear defiance of the law they'll just reword a little and submit again, and again... but it got completely creamed by well over a two to one margin, and two of the all-for-it sumbitches at the final counting, one turns to the other and says "I don't like this, maybe we should..." and then SLAMS his trap shut with a snap as he notices me out the corner of his eye standing right behind his ass, while keeping an eye on the counting, and I am like "Should. WHAT?" and both of em skittered right on out of there all hasty like.

While not especially fond of our halfass imitation "Democracy", since that's how most folk appear to want things run, the best I can do from a moral perspective, Anarchist or not, is loom threateningly over any attempt to subvert it.
