PN is actually very clever. Some of the idiosyncrasies are real, some he exaggerates, some of them are not. Just enough that you can get glimpses under the surface to what he's getting at, but never enough to really know him or who he really is.

Aside from being very christian and some of the attitudes he brings from that about gays and women, which I think also contributes to his attitudes about Jews, the important thing to me is that he doesn't really act on them IRL or in his relationships. So I look past a lot of that stuff. I know that a lot of it is offensive and a lot harder for others to look past, sometimes even I can't and I have to object.
