Probably idiotic pranks, but the entire campuses of both schools have been cleared out because of bomb threats. Not sure how big NDSU is, but UT Austin is around 50,000+

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

Police have fully searched the Austin campus, and have found no bombs, thankfully. Im assuming the same will be the case for the other schools.

Probably just some sick bastard getting their kicks by scaring people.

Note to anyone - Please pity the poor, poor wittle Rappyboy. He's feeling put upon lately, what with all those facts disagreeing with what he believes.

Most likely. Apparently the call to UT was made by "a middle-eastern-sounding male" who claimed to be with al-Qaeda.

And that right there should tell you he's not with al-Qaeda, since I've never heard of them giving advance warnings.

Mitt Romney has already blamed Obama. ;)

Also hearing about a third university in Indiana (Valparaiso?) that underwent the same thing today.

I'd be lying if I said I weren't a bit nervous that somebody's "probing" the university system for patterns, responses, and weaknesses.

Nervous about what? Everything is fine in Obama's America...isn't it?

( not PN )

It still cracks me up.

al Qaeda, or like groups, won't make warning calls. They WANT there to be as many maimed and killed. They'll only call after the fact, or as it's about to take place, when the damage is done.

Good point, hadn't thought of that.

Which I already pointed out.

I'm wondering if the warning and the hoax were done to watch what happens after. Strategy 101: Watch what your enemy does, how they react, where they go, and you'll know where to hit them next. Want to maximize damage? Time your explosions; first ones do damage, second ones are placed where and when they'll do MORE damage.

Meanwhile, FauxNews fails geography yet again.

I wonder if Mike Huckabee's pissed that they've seemingly made him the former governor of Missouri now...

As much as they spend on spokesmodels, you'd think maybe they could hire a geography major once in a while.

Oh, they got Mississippi and Alabama reversed, too. Good job, FOX!

And which I don't care.
