Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I'm sure you've seen this before, but for me, it's still crazy funny ---

Wow, those guys were positively polite...

While nationally things have only gotten really nasty in the past decade or so, on a regional-local level our politics here in Wayne/Washtenaw are often so out-there-bizarre the coverage looks like it came from The Onion.

People seem to have forgotten you can be civil without being nice.

If you are going to comment on 'ignorance', you could at least spell it correctly so you don't come across as a complete fool

Oh, I think the jury's already in on "Hero", his ignorance, and his "intellegence".

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Yeah, it's a frequent ad around here. Excellent satire, in my opinion.
