The biggest problem here is the misinformation about what's in the meat. The BBC did a segment on it today and people were displeased at the idea of eating horse.

I myself wouldn't _choose to eat horse, it feels weird to me, like eating a dog. But if others want to do it I wouldn't stop them, its just not something I feel very comfortable with. Of course if Genghis Khan offered me some I'd gobble it down. Sigh, :))) They eat horse in Mongolia, drink their milk, use their skins, ride them everywhere, etc. Nomad culture revolves around the horse there.
