A newly released poll reveals that Obamacare now has more support than opposition. Among "all Americans", 49 percent back it while 48 percent oppose. http://www.washingtonpost.com/page/2010-2019/WashingtonPost/2014/03/31
/National-Politics/Polling/question_13876.xml?uuid=rPbg_rkGEeOA3i_4gB8nrw
#

Of course, among "registered voters", 48 percent support it while 50 percent oppose it, but interestingly, since November, the percent of conservatives (not "Republicans" or "Tea Partiers") who support the Affordable Care Act has more than doubled. 36 percent of them back it compared to only 17 percent five months ago.

(Detailed analysis of the poll at http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2014/03/31/democrats-su

Slowly but surely, we're getting there...

Another pro ACA thread?

Niki, for real, are you on the DNC payroll?

I can see you wanting to support something you think is needed.
I can see you trying to rub Auraptors face in these stories even though you continually call for him to be ignored.
But the sheer volume of threads and your perceived unwillingness to accept anything negative regarding the ACA is puzzling to me.

America loves a winner!

Skeptical of any poll which supports this disaster.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

The ABC/Wasington Post poll is a phoney poll. The AP poll had Barrycare at 26%

You're always skeptical of any poll that doesn't tell you what you want to hear.

And you are generally proven ridiculously wrong every time you do.

Obviously no poll is a guarantee of anything, but the one posted was taken on March 31st, the opposing poll on the 28th, which might say something:
Quote:

The poll was taken before Thursday's announcement by the White House that new health insurance markets have surpassed the goal of 6 million sign-ups, so it did not register the potential impact of that news on public opinion. http://www.politico.com/story/2014/03/obamacare-poll-105141.html#ixzz2

Let's see how it shakes out when all those new people find out how it affects them. Only time will tell.

"your perceived unwillingness to accept anything negative regarding the ACA"--Now THAT is hysterical!

Obviously "nobody" either can't read or can't retain; how many times have I said the ACA is a bastardization with many, many flaws and that the roll-out was a total disaster? How many times have I written that, just like Social Security, Medicare and Part D, we could only get a bad bill which we will then have to improve on over time? Fun...ny.

Hillary 2016.

She's got some single payer ready to go.

Though she's not my favorite Democrat, she's not a Republican, so a better choice by default.

You cannot possibly believe that, right? Your suspension of disbelief borders on stupidity. This isn't a movie or TV show, have you forgotten?

You?

Unfortunately, the ACA isn't really working as well as the folks who proposed it expected, mostly due to bad design. There had better be someone looking very hard at the small business insurance plans that were delayed for a year and are now supposed to go into effect in November of this year. They have seven months. I hope that they make it, but given the quality of the rollout so far, I'm doubtful.

Way to ignore most of my post to make a cute statement. But that's pretty much you anymore, isn't it?

Please READ the posts. Niki did NOT call it a victory, in fact she stressed that it wasn't. And you linked to a thread to show she HAD & wasted my gorram time lookin' for it.

So, on to the topic. More people liked the Affordable Care Act than Obamacare. Maybe they've discovered they're the same.

Did I use the word "all?" Lets see, nope. Maybe you don't get what "a" means.

Way to make my case for me, dipshit.
