Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Fun-ny.

1. Who here, or anywhere, said or ever intimated "right-wing talk radio is in trouble"? Far as I know (and probably any sane individual knows), talk radio is the life's blood of the most entrenched part of the right-wing audience. Also the least educated, and least intelligent. Along with FauxNews, of course.

2. Who here, or ANYWHERE, has ever said "LEFT-wing talk radio" was ever worth a shit? Or ever had nearly as big an audience (which seems to be your point)? Not many, I would imagine; I've certainly never listened to it, nor would I be caught dead doing so. Given that I imagine it's not much better, if at all, it probably attracts about the same "quality" of audience. Just the tiny bit I catch when I switch stations to catch the on-the-hour news when I'm driving to the only "talk" station we have (which isn't "left-wing" anyway, just local), what I've heard has enough brainless-but-opinionated idjits on it to make me switch back even to a commercial on the straight news station the instant the news is over.

3. Ed Schultz is just plain sad. From the (very) little I ever saw of him before I studiously avoided him, he seems to be well meaning, but he's so out there and over the top that he's an embarrassment.

4. Nothing you put up in any way has anything to do with Rush Limbaugh.

So your point is? (That's rhetorical, FYI; you needn't bother.)

My point (which is brilliant) is that libs post storys from websites like Media Matters and Mother Jones saying that right-wing talk radio is losing listeners in mass, or that FOX News bleeding viewers, this is a crock. Rush and Sean are still kicking ass, and ratings for ALL primetime TV shows drop this time of year, the weather is nice (thanks to global warming) and people want to go out and play. Meanwhile left-wing talk radio is dying and FOX News has more viewers in primetime then MSNBC and CNN COMBINED! Companys that run ads on MSNBC and CNN are throwing their money away.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

At the risk of being a grammar-Nazi.... Oh, what the hell.

What is a "phoney lib"? A person who is pretending to be liberal, but is secretly something else?

I think the phrase you were looking for was "liberal phonies"- a liberal who pretends to be smart, caring, and fact-driven. Unless you were really reaching for "libertarian phonies"? It's a little hard to tell. Word order makes a difference.

Ed thinks the term 'all good things ' some how relates to his radio show.

That's funny.

But to be honest, I had no idea he had a show, or that it was on for 10 years.

I suppose some here have short memories, and do not recall claiming that Rush's sponsors were leaving in droves, over his alleged attack on Ms Fluke.

Rush is still on the air, and doing quite well.

btw - anyone remember AirAmerica ? And how $ from the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club of Co-op City was funneled , as " loans " with zero interest, to help pay for the bills of the network. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_America_Radio#Gloria_Wise_controversy )

Dirtbags will stop at nothing to try to compete and shovel their go-se over the airwaves.

I just can't imagine any reason to listen to political talk radio. If I'm in my car I'd rather listen to the 'oldies' station play "Knock Three Times" or "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" for the millionth time than listen to political propaganda spew.

Typical apolitical nonsense. We all want to hear vitriol against our hated leaders & policies! We all want to TAKE A STAND against what we perceive is WRONG! And THEIR side is wrong, NOT ours! Obama sucks, that's a fact. Who's next?

Oh, sidebar, hey, Jongs, have you seen the Blu Ray version of the BSG 1978 theatrical movie? It's totally awesome! Detail I couldn't imagine! Nice deep blacks, the whole deal. I expected more noticeable matte lines, but not really.

Back on topic: Hey Rush, tell it to your sponsors! Whatever, you'll be out soon enough, but you'll still be rich. It's a win!

Punctuation can be confusing to some. That question mark you put at the end is just soooo old school.

I expect Ron Jeremy would agree with "cumming".

Tell me who's been posting these so-called "right-wing in trouble" posts?
I haven't seen them. Point them out to me, I need a good chuckle or two.

Point is, at least for me, that I don't give a flying fuck about Rush Limpdick or any of those so-called talk shows. It's just a bunch of hate speech simply fashioned to make money for the pill-swallowing Humpty Dumpty of the right wing.

Man!, that was fun!

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Yeah. Everyone who doesn't like what you like is stupid, huh?

The 'huh' at the end makes it a challenge, not a question. Writing and reading words is so old-fashioned.

OONJERAH - We are too dumb to live and smart enough to wipe ourselves out.
"You, who live in any kind of comfort or convenience, do not know how these people can survive these things, do you? They will endure because there is no immediate escape from endurance. Some will die, the rest must live."
