Has anyone put forth any mechanism by which this travel ban would be enforced?

How do you propose to restrict people coming in from places that already don't have direct flights into this country?

How intrusive do you want to get? How far into the background checks do you want to go? How long would each background check take, and how long are you willing to wait to board a plane while that check is being done?

As usual, you propose more regulation, more authoritarian measures, and more security theatre, all of which you've already been shown won't work.

Maybe you should just propose building a wall around Africa.

Obama/CDC fuck-up #1 : His passport showed he had recently been in Guinea. He should never have been allowed back in the U.S.

Obama/CDC fuck-up #2 : He was not put in quarantine for 21 days upon his arrival. Now he would have been, but when he came back there was no quarantine protocol in place.

They have no idea how many people he has had contact with since his return, and they cannot know who they've had contact with or where they are. Same goes for all the other West Africa world travelers prior to the new restrictions. First few weeks in November will reveal the disastrous results of Obama's leadership failure.
