Quote:"Surprisingly, the Moon is a moderately bright gamma-ray source. The only part of the electromagnetic spectrum where the Moon is brighter than the Sun is gamma rays. The surface of the Moon is baldly exposed to cosmic rays and solar flares. When cosmic rays hit the ground, they produce a dangerous spray of secondary particles right at your feet, and trigger little nuclear reactions that release yet more radiation in the form of neutrons. The lunar surface itself is radioactive!" -Dr Robert Naeye PhD, NASA GLAST, FERMI GAMMA RAY SPACE TELESCOPE, 23 August 2007 www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/GLAST/science/solar_system.html
Quote:"If we had actually landed on the Moon in 1969, we'd now have International House of Pancakes on the Moon. We'd have Walmarts on the Moon by now. Instead NASA said, 'Been there done that. Poof, no need to go back...'" -Capt Joyce Riley USAF, The Power Hour Radio Show, 20 July 2009 http://thepowerhour.com

Personally, I think the 'original' digital tapes were lost when NASA started re-using tapes. I suspect the tech who mounted the tape didn't have a clue what he was setting up to be taped over.

Each night folks can look to the sky and see America shining down upon them. There's no argument...not even any moon indians to claim they were there first. We were there first, we own it, its ours, and everybody else can look but don't frakking touch. This 'we are the world" crap is crap. Moon, US Territory...like Samoa, only colder and fewer Samoans Mars is going to be ours too... H "Hero. I have come to respect you"- Chrisisall, 2009.

Since Britain was once conquered by the Normans, wouldn't that make the moon a Normannic territory?

If ownership is transfered from Britain to the Normans (in Normandy?) before the conquest by India, doesn't the moon belong to the French?
