We watched a documentary about this situation in one of my criminology classes. The documentary showed the trial, interviewed the parents etc. From what I recall there wasn't enough evidence to convict them in the first place, though the movie could have portrayed a biased picture of the situation. I remember thinking that the father of one of the boys was really weird, a little creepy odd, but I don't reckon that means anything persay, except that the boy's mom died a few years later or some such, it was a while ago that I saw the documentary.
